I've always enjoyed this restaurant, particularly their tasty burritos. However, on my recent visit, the carne asada in my burrito was cold and not as fresh as usual, which was disappointing. I hope this is a rare occurrence and not a sign of declining quality. I usually get the California burrito, which is a good size and enhanced by the fries inside. First time here and we will definitely be back! We don't live on this side of town but when we come visit the kids we will be sure to remember this spot for fresh affordable and delicious food! I didn't get a pic of the food bc we were SO hungry after our morning hike we tore into to fast! I had the carne asada bowl with all lettuce base skipped beans & rice, no sour cream. It was low carb but not low on flavor! The beef was flavored and well cooked, topped with fresh avocado slices, a sprinkle of cotija and shredded Mexican cheese with in house pico de gallo. My family order the CA burrito, the chicken asado taco, Smack down burrito churros and the flan. The churros were filled with something along the lines of Nutella maybe? I didn't try them but everyone loved them. The other food was a huge hit too! The inside of the restaurant was clean and simply decorated with tasteful decor. The salsa bar was a nice touch. Pickled carrots, onions, jalapeños and sliced cucumbers and salsas were made in house and delish! If you want quick but not gross greasy "fast food" give Taco Man Grill a try! I was hoping for some "authentic" food and found my bowl very mediocre. I ordered my meal with a drink (ice tea) and then realized that their ice container was empty. The employees didn't bother to make a new batch, they just suggested I get a soda. The problem is I don't drink soda and there wasn't anything with little to no sugar available. I just didn't feel they went out of their way to make it right. As for the rest of the place, parking was easy out front, seating was sufficient and the bathrooms were clean. New year, new great local businesses to try out! On the first Friday night of the year, my boyfriend and I went out to try out Taco Man Grill, which can be found next to Sushi Hero. Trying to figure out how to get into the main parking lot was a little confusing, but we eventually got the hang of it. I think the Dunkin' drive thru, which is part of the same building as Taco Man, kind of threw us off. We walked in and it wasn't busy, but more people ended up coming in after we took our order. I ordered the California Burrito and my boyfriend ordered the Smack Down Burrito, with a side of churro bites, and we decided to take it back with us. There is very limited seating inside so we were happy to find an open table before it started getting packed. It took less than 10 minutes for our order to come out and we were sent on our way. The churro bites came in those takeout containers that come from Chinese restaurants, which I found a little weird. But first I'll describe both the burritos. The burritos were excellent and absolutely perfect! Oh my goodness, if I could have their burritos again I would! We literally both slipped into a food coma afterwards. And the churro bites, just WOW. They had this type of brown filling inside and they were over the top delicious. Churros have always been my favorite food item from Mexican restaurants. Taco Man is a great Mexican restaurant for all your burrito/taco/churro needs and I highly recommend it to everyone! read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend who said this is the most authentic Mexican taco you can get in Vegas. Service was fast and staff was friendly. I counted about 28 seats. There is bar top type seating with the high chairs for about 12, then 2 small tables that seat 4 and 1 larger that sat about 8. They served beer and coke in a glass bottle as well as fountain soda. They have a salsa bar that was clean. 1 red mild, 1 green mild that was very tasty, one orange hot and one habanero. I wish there was a medium because the hot was really hot and I like spicy food. It was taco Tuesday and they had street tacos (small ones) for $2.25-2.89. I had 2.5 tacos but probably could have eaten 3 or 4. Carne Asada 4/5, tasted very authentic, served with Guac , pico and lime. It was good but a little on the salty side. And I like salty food. My husband said it was the best Carne Asada taco he has had in Vegas and he agreed it was still a little bit on the salty side. Carnitas- 4/5. This had good flavor, still a little salty but it was moist. Sometimes when you order Carnitas, it comes out really dry, but this was perfectly prepared. I will say that they do put a lot of meat in their small tacos, there was enough meat left on the plate to eat with a fork.. I would come back to try more things. read more

I've only had takeout from this spot so keep that in mind for the review. I gave the place a few tries because it had fairly positive reviews but it hasn't been the experience I was hoping for. I tried the carne asada Tijuana tacos and the meat was not great, dry, and a bit chewy as to indicate it wasn't the best quality meat. The Baja fish taco was okay but the fish batter felt like it had no seasoning and it was pretty bland. The sauce that comes on it was okay but overall I wish it had more flavor. The shrimp taco was probably the best thing I've tried and the shrimp was flavorful and so were the tomatoes that came in it. Also, I'm not a fan of the tortillas that the tacos come on. The texture and flavor were not the best. But to be fair, I did order it for takeout so it's possible the travel may have been a part of the reason for the tortillas not being that good. I ended up eating the shrimp without the tortilla and that was much more appetizing. Overall, it seems like a lot of people enjoy the food here but it just wasn't really for me. After giving it a few tries, it just doesn't seem to the quality or the authentic flavor that I'm looking for especially when considering the price. This is our FAVORITE taco spot in Henderson. They've got everything you need and even have seasonal menu items like birria pizza right now. Honestly anything you get here is amazing and fresh. We've come at least ninety nine times and not one has been bad. The sauces/salsas on the side range from mild to super hot, I recommend the green! My boss recommended this spot and thankfully he did! Literally the BEST Carne Asada Fries I've ever put in my face. Need I say more? The meat was good quality and seasoned to perfection. From my experience, the star of the show is their breakfast burrito. Tasty eggs, chorizo, crispy hash browns, cheese, and salsa all come together perfectly. Visiting family over the weekend and found this GREAT PLACE to grab some delicious food. I got a ham & egg burrito (because I love breakfast anytime) and it had very generous portions and the ham was from a ham steak. My wife got tacos and said they were very good. I'm a picky eater, but I really love the burritos at Taco Man. The tortillas are great, and the guacamole sauce here is the first time I've ever eaten guac and liked it. It's a bit runny and not a traditional, thick guac. It probably isn't for everyone, but it's yummy for our taste. Our favorite part was their spanish rice. We adore a good rice with any meal, and Taco Man delivers great flavor in theirs. My partner also got a Chipotle ranch sauce to try, but it ended up being too smoky/spicy for us both. I honestly don't want to make this review. We've been going to this place for the past few years a few times a month. The burritos are good, but we just had the weirdest experience there. We ordered our meals to go like usual, and when we got home, our burrito smelled so strongly of marijuana. We never smoke, and nothing else smelled like weed--just the burrito. They did offer to give us another burrito, but they kept arguing that we were smelling the pico de gallo with cilantro. I've never smelled any pico that smells like marijuana, and I love to cook so I use cilantro all the time and know what it smells like.
