Can I just say that I love this place for a quick dine in or pick up meal? So many options (tortas, burritos, salads, enchiladas, tacos, and more) and fresh every time! Lately I've been getting a shrimp taco or a taco salad, and it's hit the spot. When you dine in, you receive a complimentary basket of chips and salsa. My kids either go with a quesadilla or chicken tenders meal or a carnitas or steak torta. Can I just also say that I love all the protein options: chorizo, steak, chicken, fish, shrimp, Korean beef, etc? Bonus: margaritas and beer served here too!

Ordered takeout tonight from Taco Maya and I really enjoyed it. It was packaged up very nicely with the grilled chicken tacos in one box and the rice & refried beans in another. I ordered the taco dinner with avocado salsa and salsa verde. The ingredients were fresh and I liked the way they put the refried beans into a small container made of a tortilla chip. Will definitely order from here again!

I love Taco Maya! These are my favorite tacos hands down. They've got some of the most unique and delicious combinations and they execute them perfectly every time. The complementary chips are some of the best you can get and with the salsa bar you could fill up on those alone. This time I had the Cajun shrimp, chingon, and the Korean beef. They were all fantastic! I always get a shrimp option when I come, they do shrimp tacos much better than other local spots. Always fresh and juicy, I'm never disappointed. The price point... was always reasonable. However, they now have some tacos over 5 bucks which is just too much. I get it, everything is more expensive but I just struggle with a single taco costing that much, even if it's fancy. The more traditional tacos are still very reasonably priced and will satisfy your cravings without the pain to your wallet.

I love this place. I love that their Horchata is refillable. I love their shrimp tacos and cant get enough of it. Shrimp is grilled instead of fried which i like. I also heard good things about their Dorado which is their fish tacos. Service was great. Lots of parking available Its also a simple fast food place to hang out with friends and chat the night away. And pkus they are open late. Will keep coming back! Happy Eating!

Another family favorite. This time I remembered to take at least some pics. After you order they will give you complimentary chips & salsa for the table. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is the complimentary salsa bar, featuring 5-6 salsa options ranging in heat levels, along with limes, and pickled jalapeños and vegetables. My daughter particularly enjoys the Masala fries with ketchup for that sweet and spicy taste. I have enjoyed every taco I've tried so far, but this time I tried the chicken Tikka and Nashville hot tacos. I especially enjoyed the Mexican fried this time. No dessert this time but it's still one of the best spots for fried ice cream!

First time here and I literally live across the street. I recently dined at Taco Maya in Niles, Illinois, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The customer service was top-notch--friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the chicken tacos and chile relleno, and both dishes were bursting with flavor. The chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly, while the chile relleno was rich and satisfying. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Whether you're a fan of traditional Mexican cuisine or just looking for a great place to eat, Taco Maya is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back! Uttam was amazing and very friendly Thank you.

So it's been 6 years since I've been coming to Taco Madre/Maya and I'm never disappointed anytime I come. Not only do they have great food options on the regular menu but they rotate their specials in case you want to be adventurous. From the filet mignon taco to the mahi mahi taco, there's always a surprise waiting for you. They also have an amazing assortment of other dishes outside tacos like burritos, tortas, etc. They also serve alcohol, mostly beer, so you can be refreshed after you down those tacos. The service is great. The workers are all part owners so they have a vested interest in the company doing well. The vibe is pretty standard but at times they spice it up especially for Mexican holidays. Lastly, if you notice a variety of Indian inspired dishes, it's because the founder of Taco Maya is of Indian descent. He discovered the executive chef of a Mexican restaurant and liked his food SO much that he hired him as the head chef for all the Taco Maya restaurants and the rest is history. Try Taco Maya, I promise that you'll want to continue to come back in the future!

This was my first time at Taco Maya Niles but not my first time at Taco Maya. I came with a group of 5 for a work lunch. None of the other people I came with had been to Taco Maya before! The menu has a little bit of everything for everyone. Our group got a mix of tacos as well as a burrito bowl and taco salad. Everyone raved about how good their food was and how it was nice to see more fusion type items on the menu one doesn't typically see. Prices can be a bit expensive but everything tastes fresh and comes out hot. Don't miss out on the free salsa bar on top of the complimentary mild salsa and chips. Restaurant was very clean and tidy as we saw the workers continuously sweeping and wiping down surfaces.

I enjoy their food, however, they are insanely overpriced. Each taco is roughly $4+, depending on its specialty.

Instead of being the canned stuff you can tell they put both a lot of care and seasoning into it. We moved out to the burbs and I saw this one on Yelp...but was it related? I mean, they have two different websites, and the one for this location literally has on their website "Serving you at one location!" We weren't sure, but we were willing to give it a shot. We came early on a Saturday, and inside they had a picture of the one in Chicago, and street signs for Ashland and Roscoe, where the Chicago one is located. So it HAS to be related...right? But the menus looked a little different... We got started with the chips and salsa, and the salsa has a real kick. Note that you only get the first chips for free and more chips would cost more. My wife got a torta, and I got tacos with steak and eggs on it, while my kid got the kid's quesadilla meal. And sure enough, there were those beans. Not dry at all and super flavorful. Next time I need to do my wife's play and order double beans instead of beans and rice. My tacos were messy but cooked well, with lots of bits of steak. I was a little confused because I thought my kid's meal would come with a drink, but they charged for his lemonade. I assume it's because it was a special blended drink and not just from a soda fountain. Now that we know this is here, we'll definitely be back, especially seeing that they have a patio for warmer weather. Glad to see we have an option when we're missing our city days.

After ordering my food at the register by the friendly guy behind the counter he told me the table number that I would be sitting. The dining room was neat and tidy with a lot of plants. Even near the restrooms. Once seated they bought out chips and salsa. The chips were warm and crisp but the salsa were good but nothing spicy. My food arrived and the server asked if I wanted the spicy salsa. And I'm like Yes Please!! It does have a kick but not as much as I have hoped for. I dove into the refried beans first, they were creamy and didn't have that burnt taste. The rice was good with corn and a couple of green beans. The burrito wasn't one of those overloaded burritos, it was a great lunch size burrito that was loaded with steak and not a lot of filler such as lettuce. The burrito with the spicy salsa was flavorful and a great bite. It wasn't wet and held together really well. This place is a bargain compared to the other spots in the area. I'm looking forward to trying the other daily specials for $8.99!

If you are looking for a good ol Mexican place, this is the place for you! They do take reservations and are pretty sizable. We went on Saturday night which was a bit crazy. It was very crowded and we were concerned about the service. While the service was a little bit on the slower side and we were there for almost 90 minutes, all the food came out hot and delicious. I got the Enchiladas in Mole Sauce which was excellent. It also came with a soup or salad which was a nice surprise. I went with the black bean soup which was great! If there was any downside, my House Margarita tasted a little weird. I probably could have complained, but I kept with it. Pretty good size, but I think there was a little too much tequila in it! Either way, this place isn't inexpensive, but you do get quite a bit of food and everybody at my table enjoyed their meal. Sometimes thats enough! Maria's has gone downhill!…read more Very disappointed with Maria's today. I'm never going back after what happened today. First of all, there's nothing vegan on the menu. So when I usually order veggie tacos or they're called vegetariano I used to have a good time with them. This time, I ordered the vegetariano tacos and I said no cheese and I also ordered the black bean soup. The black bean soup came with a whole bunch of grated cheese on top of it. She dumped it on the table and left. She just walked away. In my mind, the waitress was telling me to uck off. I could be wrong. Instead of waiting for her to come back and sending the soup back, I scooped up all the grated cheese and threw it on the plate next to me and ate the black bean soup. When the veggie tacos came, there was no salsa. So I waited for the waitress to come back, and I said, I want some green and red salsa, and she brought me two bottles of hot sauce and left. So my sister asked the busboy in spanish, "green and red salsa" and he said, okay, I'll get it for you. He didn't, the waitress came back, and we told her I wanted green and red salsa, and she told me the green salsa was very hot. I told her to take back the veggie tacos cause they're cold already, and I can't eat them. Wth all this back-and-forth, I'm now in front of naf knaf grill, and I'm gonna get some falafel there. What a waste of time I'm never going back to marias, again, never, never never never! I think the waitress did not speak English that well too bad. So sad, i'm never going there again and I eat veggie tacos several times a week, and many other places which are better than maria's. If you're thinking about going there, forget it, there's much better places out there in this world that are vegan friendly.
