This is definitely the best Taco Nazo location! I've been to all of them and this one seems to make the potato tacos the best. Service is always good at taco nazo but I feel like the staff here goes above and beyond. I came here on a Monday 11 am and it was already packed. That's how you know it's good. Service was quick despite the crowd. They give you a number and they bring it out to you. The shrimp cocktail is also very good, comes with two crackers. There is a dinning area outside and it's a little noisy from traffic but I feel it adds to the ambiance. The tables and patio are clean it looks like they did renovations. There's a good amount of parking. If you like Potatoe tacos this is the spot! I live a little far from here but it worth the drive read more

I ordered the 3 taco combo to go and it did not disappoint. Got 2 shrimp and 1 asada. Comes with rice, beans, drink, & chips and salsa. Shrimp tacos were outstanding and the asada was good too. The only thing I did not like were the refried beans but I can live with that. Service was quick and friendly here as well. Nazo proudly proclaims itself to be the "Pioneers of the Fish Taco" -- a phrase painted atop their original location in La Puente. The colorful shack stands out against an otherwise drab and run-down strip mall. Orange traffic cones and royal blue plastic chains delineate the drive-thru line. The ordering area and in-person queue are beneath a low-lying, twinkle-lit awning. A portrait honoring the late Maria hangs beside the large posterboard menu tiles, and a tasteful shaded patio with concrete picnic benches is positioned streetside right around the corner. Soft Spanish-language music trickles out from the kitchen. We arrived for late weekend lunch and faced only a short queue. We opted for a 3 Taco Combo (served with chips & salsa, rice, beans, chile güeritos, and horchata), a medium Mixed Ceviche, and a fourth taco for good measure. I was handed an order number, and the made-to-order food was served directly to our table just a few minutes later. We were mistakenly given one wrong taco, and a staff member brought us the correct one, on the house, without hesitation. Immediately, we were impressed by the signature fish taco. Nazo's tacos are Ensenada-style, featuring large filets of white fish fried in a light, crispy batter and accompanied by a creamy white sauce, fresh tomato, shredded green cabbage, and two-ply corn tortillas. The shrimp taco was prepared similarly, but we both preferred the fish. Meanwhile, the "medium" ceviche was enormous, layered in a big-gulp plastic cup with fish, jaiva, shrimp, and octopus, then topped with a sliced half-avocado and served beside several crispy tostada shells. Of the seafood, the octopus component was surprisingly lackluster compared to the briney, well-marinated shrimp and fish. The sides ranged from standard to very good: the chips were crispy and sturdy, but saltless; the salsas were unremarkable (one was like plain tomato sauce, the other an earthy but one-dimensional salsa roja); the rice was moist but muted; the refried beans were salty, smooth, and satisfying; and the chile was well-seasoned and deceptively spicy. Lastly, our horchata was huge and full-bodied; while mostly standard, we had no real critiques. Our bill totaled around $45, and the price felt justified given the quality of the seafood and the sheer portion sizes. Specifically, the fish tacos are well worth a visit alone. During a repeat visit to another location, we prioritized the fish tacos and a small ceviche, and the quality and the service were equivalent, if not better (and we loved the option for indoor seating) -- so I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to your nearest Taco Nazo outpost, even if it's not the original. read more

Taco Nazo is one of those spots we're once you try their food you'll be hooked automatically. They have serval locations but this one is in the la puente area right off the free way the parking is fairly large so it shouldn't be an issue but be aware their drive thru is kind of confusing just make sure you follow the orange cones The service is cool no issues but nothing was over the top to be honest The price point on it was low to mid not bad The ambiance is your typical taco joint so nothing fancy but overall if your in the area try them out ! read more

Although there was a slight delay in getting my drive up order taken, the young man ran up to my automobile when he noticed I was waiting for some assistance. He treated my family and I with the utmost respect and I reciprocated. We ordered a large Jamaica to wash three fish tacos down, two for me, one for my wife. My children specifically love the rice and beans which we ordered a side of. These tacos are meant to be instantly consumed as their texture is crispy and crunchy. Any delay and they will start to soften and become soggy. I took an order for my mother as I went to visit her specifically on this weekend. This is one of my favorite places for fish tacos, California burritos, quesadillas and more! When I'm there I like how they greet me sometimes and give me a warm services. This place is outside seating with noisy area because right next to a busy street, but can still have a good conversation with someone. I've done more to gos than eating there. Taco Nazo is a small, walk up taco stand with outdoor patio seating. I ordered the three taco combo, all with fish. The fish tacos were so massive that I had to tap out on the last one. The fresh ingredients really leveled up the flavors, and the double tortilla maintained the integrity of the taco underneath all the weight of deliciousness. Oh, and that salted yellow chili on the side? Yum! Prices are super reasonable. We paid about $31 for 3 tacos a la carte, a combo, and a soda. The beans and rice were average, the chips were stale, and the salsa needed more heat. That being said, this is definitely the spot to grub on some fantastic fish tacos. read more

My friend suggested this place to me when I had a strong craving for fish tacos, and it did not disappoint! The fish is fried to perfection - the fish is MEATY, crunchy and warm. The slaw accompanying it was delicious as well. We did drive through so can't speak on the service, however, the drive thru is quite man made. There is no drive thru lane, you just drive around the corner to the back side of the restaurant and someone brings it out to your car. Overalll, great fish tacos if you're craving! As I pull into the parking lot of Taco Nazo, my son who was busy on his iPhone looks up and says...where the heck are we? I told him to get ready for some of the best tacos he will ever have. This is my second time here. My son decided on a shrimp taco along with their famous fish taco. There is no reaction as he eats the shrimp one. Upon first bite of the fish, he shouts out...OMFG!!! It's good huh, I ask. Good??? It's frickin' amazing. I told him to take a bite of the fish and then a bite of the Chiles Güeritos. I could eat 5 of those delicious addictive peppers. Love the spicy and salty combo that complements the fish tacos brilliantly. The slaw on top makes each bite perfect and tasty. The fish is fresh, plump and the batter is not greasy. As we get back into the car..."Mom, that is the BEST thing I ate here in Los Angeles".
