Ordered what I thought was simple bean and cheese burrito. It was huge! And homemade tortilla. Also got a crispy taco and the shell was fresh and tasted so good! Taco Palenque Grill serves up some tasty Mexican food, but unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by poor customer service. From the start, things were slow: we waited 20 minutes just for chips and another 10 before flagging down a manager to ask for water, drinks, and an appetizer. After explaining that we hadn't seen a waitress yet, the manager assured us he'd help. When our waitress finally arrived, she asked if we'd been helped. We explained that the manager had supposedly taken care of our drink and appetizer order, and we proceeded to place our food orders as well. Despite finishing our drinks, there was no sign of the waitress for refills, and we waited an additional 40 minutes before she returned to ask if we'd received our food--which we hadn't. Eventually, our meals arrived, but our friends' orders were still missing. The waitress apologized and said she'd rushed their meal, but it still took another 10 minutes. By then, the delay had taken a toll on our overall experience. The food itself was enjoyable and had authentic flavors, but the lack of attention and slow service made it hard to fully appreciate. If Taco Palenque Grill could improve its service and ensure timely orders, it would be a great spot for a Mexican meal. From the food to the service I've never had an unpleasant experience. the atmosphere has been equally pleasant. Does it get busy? Most definitely , is there times that I've waited a bit or received something incorrectly? Yes, But I've addressed it with the employees as well as managers and they have been more than willing to resolve any issue I've ever had. I applaud their hard work and efforts to stay caught up and stay at it despite the controlled chaos that they are working through. read more

This is my second time at this location. Used to going to Saratoga site however that one is now Pollo palenque.. We Picked up order to go. I must say everything was so fresh n so good. A tad pricey but so so good. Beans are deliciously good. Chips nice crispy n flavorful. Beef fajitas are top notch. The best in town. I tried the corn tortillas for the first time and wow. I was excited to try this place--I am gluten intolerant and these sorts of Mexican chains usually do a pretty good job as long as you avoid the flour tortillas and anything fried in the same oil as something with wheat. I asked the person at the counter what was gluten free and she was clueless and asked a manager, who said she didn't think they had anything gluten free. The chain needs to have a list of ingredients on hand for their employees to refer to. I wish we had a Torchy's tacos here--they do a great job of listing what contains gluten (or other allergens) and what doesn't. It's not really that difficult. read more

After waiting for some time I had to go inside to get my order. After repeating my order a second time they still gave us the wrong drinks after 20 minutes of waiting.
