The birria ramen has AMAZING flavor and the meat was tender. My only complaint was the noodles being undercooked. The restaurant itself was clean and well cooled (106 degrees outside). Whenever I'm in Cali I will be returning

Delicious quesatacos with flavorful consome and friendly/attentive servers made it even better. Definitely recommend to anybody who loves some good birria especially because in the valley it's too hot to cook it yourself 99% of the time.

Consome (birria broth) super sour would not recommend! And if the drink is almost 9 dollars for the cup?! I'll bring my own cup and just get the juice. PAID $60 for a torta and burrito drink and consome!!! NOT WORTH IT!!

I placed an order over the phone for a birria pizza for my family. I told the girl on the phone that took my order to put the cilantro/ onions and sauces on the side. (Not everyone likes onion and cilantro in my family) It was a disappointment to come home and the order had cilantro and onions! Also when I arrived for my order the girl Melanie had to be called like 3 times from conversating with another coworker to help me at the register. Not sure if she took my order & seemed to be too distracted. The food is great just service needs to be a little better.

Stopped in for takeout on a Thursday evening. Place is really nice inside, and there were a decent amount of people dining in. Caliburrito: a burrito with birria, fries, and cheese. Super simple but very delicious! Most of the filling was meat which I give high marks for. The best part in my opinion is the whole burrito is coated with cheese and griddled, which provides a crispy and delicious exterior. The salsa it came with was really good as well. They have a sign warning that everything is cooked fresh so it's not fast food, but my order was relatively quick. I'd definitely recommend this place. Super easy and tasty Mexican food.

Was in town for coachella and tried this place out for lunch. Pretty small place but service is quick and seating is easy! I got the birria fries but I don't eat beef so I subbed it for pollo and oh boy - riquísimoooo. I could not finish them but so good. The agua de piña was probably the best beverage I have ever had in my life! The chamoy and tajin rim was perfect. I would definitely come again! This is besides the point but one odd thing was I tagged them on instagram when I visited then I watched their story afterwards since they were nice and replied and I noticed they reposted a video on their story of some girl with a car and it was very sexualized and weird for a food business to be posting... like it had nothing to do with the business or food and clearly flaunting this woman's figure, that was a bit off putting but regardless has nothing to do with the staff and how awesome they were and how great everything tasted, but maybe better social media managing. read more

They have aqua frescas that's all I need!' The service is great and I'm trusting on my fellow yelpers the food is amazing. Welcoming from the moment the door opens. And then decisions decisions everything on the menu sounded good. I wasn't feeling very adventurous, so I went with a classic cheese quesadilla. Which I expected to be small and it was huge. Thanks for the generous portion! The amount of cheese was perfect and the cheese pull was a beautiful thing. The cucumber water was spot on - make sure they add the chamoy and Tajín. Ordered the birria tacos - must also get the consomé on the side. The consomé is perfect - I wouldn't change anything about it. This is a birria place so make sure you're going for that. read more

We eat here a lot at times and the food is very consistent. Always great. The service is good for a busy place like this. The restaurant is very relaxed and there is comfortable outdoor seating. I order the kesotacos but with chicken not Birria and they are awesome. We love their rice and consommé but I have had many other things and it's all creative and delicious. read more

Thanks to Stephanie C. for letting me know this was here. I was at the Calhoun St. Shop, raved about the food, but had to sit in my car to eat it. Problem solved with this new location. Closer to Palm Desert, so I can eat here all the time. Everything in my previous review still stands: Birria is everywhere and in everything, and it is delicious. Birria Burrito is magnificent, and the Kesotacos with Consommé are insanely good. Now my favorite Taco Shop in the Valley. Re 1 star reviews: MacDonalds is right down the street and they all speak English there. read more

The best birria I have ever had, can be pricey but it's worth every penny for the good quality birria that you can tell was made with much love and hard work. Delicious quesatacos with flavorful consome and friendly/attentive servers made it even better. My buddy invited me all the way out to Indio so I can check this restaurant out and it did not disappoint. The Rice is so aromatic, it's the first thing that got my attention on the table, the refried beans have a nice kick to it. The Tortaabirria is full of flavor, from the guac to the buns and everything in between was satisfying. On a scale I'd give this place a 9/10 giving it room to grow on me more. This is the second time they mess up my order and I have to pay for a second one. Lady claims I didn't tell her to omit the cheese, but for some reason I did tell her to omit everything else. No problem. I'll gladly pay for a second burrito and will not be coming here weekly or placing orders for my workers here again, like I usually do. Hope the $11 was worth it. PS. Back again (I've actually been back a few times), well the music is less loud but still more so than most. Sit outside if it really bothers you, the far east side wall is probably the loudest. Now the important part, FOOD! Well I ventured out and had chicken tacos in place of the birria. They were good Good flavor of their own and tender, though I'm a creature of habit so beef next time around. The staff is always good, even with some language barriers, we seem to know enough both ways to get by. Love the horchata. Have noticed I'm picking the wrong times to come because everyone else wants to be there too, so expect a wait after 4 pm in most cases (this was a Tuesday and a Saturday). I've good in the afternoon with better results for less folks. Again the pricing in higher than it use to be so i come more occasionally than often but still one of my go to's for a consistent and tasty taco! Also the birria noodle bowl, crazy filling. And NEVER forget the consume, makes the tacos that much better (and a tasty treat at the end) read more

Walking in, is a trip back to the hole in the wall style restaurants out of "desperado", the movie, and the first thing you notice isn't the view, but the music. It's like you're welcomed by the band themselves of whoever is on the speakers. Ambiance overall was very welcoming and the staff there is super attentive to your needs. It is a seat yourself kinda place and that's exactly what I did. A lot of people also came in to pick up food to go, which also is a good omen for what I was about to expect as far as the quality of the food... as yes, the food: Indeed I wasn't wrong about the omen... I ordered the chicken caldo, and it had an excellent broth base. Then came the lemon for me, a bit of their homemade green salsa, because it was spicy, can't do spicy well... and it hit great. Hearty veggies, and huge pieces of chicken. Accompanied by homemade corn tortillas, a small bowl of rice and a cup of hibiscus leaf juice (agua de Jamaica) it all was a meal worthy of a king. I left a very happy camper. Not hungry for almost the whole day and didn't have anything better to eat for the rest of the day. Super satisfying and filling. I'm looking forward to the next visit to try something else. But I'm sure I won't be disappointed with the next visit. My stomach's growling just talking about this place. Haha. THANKS!

The roast was on the lighter side. The lemon bar was amazing! I will definitely stop by again to try their matcha and hopefully other lemon pastries.

When I am in Indio I have always tried to make it down to this spot. Service can vary in terms of wait times and how often a server checks in during the wait but the food comes out tasting good. Burrobirria is a personal favorite and their aguas frescas are great. However, something needs to be said about their "tactics". A transaction should be transparent. Surprising a guest with a charge on a bill is never a good idea. We were offered some chips, something that comes complimentary at most Mexican restaurants, when we were ordering our waters and drinks for the table. What our server failed to mention is that we would be charged for this. I can't help but to see something like this as deceptive. You can't not disclose something comes at a cost when you are aware that other places offering this same item at the same type of restaurant wouldn't itemize this. Either disclose the price upfront, or don't bring it up. Not only that, but when we were ready to pay, we were offered a complimentary tamale for each review we left. We submitted our reviews, showed the waiter, and he left to go put in that order. He came back with one tamale for one person in our party and left. After waiting for 10 minutes and trying to get his attention, he let us know the offer actually meant one tamale for the entire table. This was absolutely unacceptable. The only reason I don't rate any lower is because 1) the food is good and 2) I don't know if this happened to be the result of one particular server, or if this is how they're directed to act from a managerial level. Safe to say that I won't be coming back. If you come here, just be wary of any deceptive tactics. read more

Not trying to beat a dead horse, since this is my second review but OMG!!! Decided to give them a second chance since food is great, but their customer service really needs improvement or a complete change of staff. To whoever the owner of this Taco shop is please, please pay more attention to whom you are hiring. How can your staff improve their service or attitude when your manager Marcela has even a worst attitude then them. She's very unprofessional and extremely rude. I heard her very unprofessionally scolding one of her employees in front of the customers, NOT OK, customers don't need to hear any of that and when she turned around and looked at me she rolled her eyes at me, Like if I was bothering her for wanting to order my food. Just unbelievable!! At this point I feel bad for the employees with that kind of management I will be mad all the time too. If you are ok with bad service and extremely rude attitude, you should give their tacos a try. read more

Great Food, But Soda Prices Are a Dealbreaker I visited Taco Shop 760 recently and was really impressed with the food. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the quality was top-notch. However, I was shocked to see that a soda costs $7.49. That price feels excessive and out of line with what you'd expect to pay for a simple drink. I understand businesses need to make a profit, but pricing something so basic at such a high rate feels like taking advantage of customers. It's not about the money--it's about the principle. Charging more than double what's reasonable for a soda leaves a bad taste in my mouth, no matter how good the food is. Unfortunately, I don't plan to return unless they address this issue. i have been to this place a couple times and i have always felt welcome as soon as we walk in it's a great big welcome but yesterday was the worst service ever. the server we got with an attitude she barely spoke english and when we tried to ask another server for help she tells us i'm not your server. those 2 servers they have in the morning shift are the worst. i will never again visit this establishment with them there safely that they have this kind of people to scare off your customers read more
