I stumbled on this restaurant on a whim and didn't think too much of it and I'm glad I did so tasty with so much flavor. I really like the el pastor taco an the mushroom taco--I might be the only one who order the mushroom taco haha--I think. The service is friendly and nice. the way you order food and get your food I have no problem with. The atmosphere is fun and comfortable for solo eater like me. Good food but I would not recomend eating it there. It plays very loud obnoxious annoying music. As for "service" there is none. The diners takes the food order to the table, booth or counter themselves. Very fair prices and DELICIOUS food. Our favorite was the Al pastor quesadilla. This new taqueria reminds me of one my fav taco places in nyc! You order first, pay, and get a ticket order... then take your ticket to the second line and hand your ticket to a taquero and specify how you want the tacos... but you gotta get them "con todo" (with everything). Super crowded place! I don't know how they're going to survive when the drive-through finally opens up! There's not enough parking for this restaurants hype !! Where will everyone park? We've found our favorite new taco shop in the Valley! The food is delicious. Succulent meats with the perfect char for the tacos. It's hard to choose a favorite. We tried pastor, pollo, and carne asada tacos con todo. All on point. Delicious, creamy beans. The salsa bar offers a spicy variety of condiments. I loved the ordering process, too. You order at the register and hand your ticket to a chef. The chefs are friendly and interactive while they prepare your order and pass it to you at the counter. Fun music. Comfortable seating. I'm noticing a trend of all my favorite taquerias.. they all look the same hmm, this place looks just like Los Tacos No 1 in NYC and Taqueria de diez in Austin, and my favorite taquerias in CDMX, they all look nearly identical inside and out. I travel all the time and I've started looking for taquerias that look like this in every city because they always have the best food. This was my first time here and I absolutely have to say with no doubt these are the best tacos that I have had in Phoenix. I had Carne Asada and El Pastore. They were both flavored so well! The handmaid tortillas were great as well as the beans! Absolutely Horrible, well the service. The food was not bad but i got a lot of fat in my meat which was unpleasant. The service was terrible. I asked them what came with the food and they told me it had salsa. I told them no salsa and they added salsa to my food. When i brought it up the lady wouldn't take accountability even though i clearly told her no salsa. The manager came up to sort this all out but i got yelled at for ordering wrong. They didn't offer to remake my food and i asked for a refund and they said no. I left with my wrong food and left feeling sad and guilty. 1 star. read more

Great street style tacos El pastor and carna asada were outstanding. Tomatillo green salsa was the best of many smoked flavors are subtle and spice is medium. Tacos are built right in front of you by one person not slid down assembly line. Don't forget to ask for grilled onions and jalapeños to go with whatever you order. I've been driving by this place for a while now since it was under construction. I finally had a chance to pop in and went for the Taco and Vampiro Al pastor. The inside is very nice and spacious which is always great. The menu is small which I liked as well. They modeled the place after some famous taquerias in Mexico, which they highlight with some pictures. Being from San Diego I have had the chance to go to two of the ones they mentioned so I was stoked. I had a carne asada taco and a pastor Vampiro. The asada was good, but missing something. The Vampiro was really delicious and was a huge fan of the chipotle tasting sauce they had. Unfortunately I think someone went way overboard with the salt on the green salsa they had out. While it's cool to see places making tortillas by hand, it's risky because "home made" is not synonymous with "good". The tortilla they had worked really well for the tostada, but not so much for the taco. They did a great job hiring very friendly staff members which is great to see. I'm not a huge fan of having them all scream welcome and goodbye to every customer. There's enough positive energy from your interaction at the register and the cooks :) Overall a cool place with solid food and will be back to try some more of their menu! read more

Avoid at all costs! Their customer service is awful. Their ordering system is needlessly complicated--you have to wait in line to place an order, and then for some reason you have to wait in line again to give your ticket to the person who makes the food. First of all, why can't they automate that process like every other restaurant? Second, this system is an obvious vector for transmitting illnesses. Customers touch a slip, then hand it directly to the people preparing the food. Of course those people don't wash their hands after handling the slip. The food is overpriced, and mediocre at best. The staff are rude and incompetent. It honestly might be one of the worst restaurants in Phoenix. PS: Look closely at the positive reviews this restaurant has. They're pretty obviously farmed/fake. read more

The al pastor taco con todo was fabulous. The meat was well seasoned, had some of that crispiness on the outer edges, the sauce was delish. My friend ordered the pollo taco con todo and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I placed my order, took my little slip, went to sit down, and waited for my number to be called. I was going to be waiting for a loooooongggg time because that's now how it works here. I didn't understand the set up and got politely schooled when I went up to ask hey, is my order coming out soon. Turns out you order at the register, they give you a slip that you will hand to the taco barista (I don't know what to call the taco prep person), and they will put on the fixings for you. I was a bit skeeved out that I was holding the order slip, had to hand it to the taco barista who was wearing the same gloves that they were wearing for the prior order from the slip someone else was holding, and then they prepped my food. I am by no means a health department expert, but that seems like it isn't an ideal scenario. The vibe was energetic and the decor was fun. They have a good salsa bar and a fountain drink station plus drinks in bottles you can order at the register. Despite my concerns about the paper hand off, we'll be back because their tacos are fire. read more
