Opening weekend can be chaotic. I'd suggest if you have one register open and about 20 ppl in line to place orders, there should be a back up to the register so the one person taking orders isn't also having to fulfill the order like chips and drinks, at the same time restocking the cups etc. Seems in my early food industry experience, during peak times one person took orders and their back up fulfilled the Drinks, any apps like chips and restocked to keep the line moving. We waited 30+minutes to place our order. Hopefully the setup of people gets better. read more

Tacos are good but I can't understand why they have and advertise pasture raised eggs and antibiotic and hormone free meat but still use non-organic, GMO corn for their tortillas. read more

My spouse and I have tried the Tacodeli in the airport and was not impressed. We decided to give this location a try since it just opened. There is lots to choose from which is great. They even had a section for vegetarian tacos! I ordered the heather and the space cowboy. They were good but not like wow I need to come back for these tacos. I would say skip the corn tortillas. They were bleh. My spouse got the Mojo salmon and really liked it! He said I should have gotten the flour tortillas. Their queso is good. The atmosphere is really cute with a good size patio! Overall I would give this place a 7/10 read more

my friend and I dropped in to try this location for the first time. I love Taco Deli ... we came in through a right entrance not thinking anything of it. We were the only ones in the restaurant ... literally the only ones.... when we stepped towards the counter this girl who was sweeping stepped in front of me very aggressively and physically blocked me from stepping towards the counter. and told me I needed to walk all the way around the restaurant to go through the "line" before I could order... I was confused at first... because there was no line... just me and my friend one step away from the order counter. She said, "thats just how we do it here" and kept aggressively telling me to walk all the way around... all the kitchen people were listening in... finally the girl who worked the counter was like, "just Come order.." and saved us. Rewind 18 yrs, I tried Taco Deli for the first time shortly after moving here and at that time I felt their tacos were overpriced, and never tried them again. Fast forward to 2022, my wife suggested Taco Deli for dinner last night and I thought, what the hell, they're down the street, it's time to give them another chance. We were all sadly disappointed. $40 including tip for 6 tacos small tacos. No drinks. No add ons. My teenage kids asked if I order off of the children's menu. I had to check. There is no kid menu. I've loved Tacodeli since I moved here 5 years ago and was so excited when this location finally opened. Been 5 times since they opened 2 weeks ago, not ashamed lol. It can be a long wait, especially on weekends, so I recommend you out in an online order. Tacos are huge here, even larger than Spyglass and the margs are very strong. Yeah, so roll in 5 minutes before 11:00. Excited because I was craving breakfast tacos. Figured I was good since there was only a group of two women ahead of me. But no joy. Turns out it's Chatty Kathy 1 and Chatty Kathy 2 who can make up there minds, make a ton of stupid comments, engage the order taker in conversations unrelated to ordering food, ask for receipts for the rewards program, wait for the chips in queso in front of the register. All while the order taker disappears for several minutes. Finally after checking her Facebook page (adding a pic of her queso) the two idiots move on. Ok now we are talking. "I'll have 2 Jess specials on corn". Order taker "ohhh sorry it's after 11:00 we don't do breakfast tacos after that". It's 11:03 and you spent nearly 10 minutes taking those two morons order and tying up the line. I did like your tacos a little better than Torchys 3 blocks away but here I am at Torchys eating my breakfast tacos as a type this. Fuck you Tacodeli. read more

I love Taco Deli and tried this new location. The person who took my order was indifferent at best. The order was wrong which I caught by the amount of the charge and we updated the order. When the other employee brought out the food, it was 1 of 2 tacos and no queso, so 1/3 of the order. Rather than getting my food, she went to help the first employee on the register and 2 other people got their full orders. When I went to the register to ask about my food she was dismissive. When she finally brought my food I expected some acknowledgement for the mix up and she said nothing. I told her she was being rude and she said "it wasn't my personal mistake". With Torchy's Tacos across the street, I won't be back to this location. read more

Breakfast tacos are usually pretty wonderful from here. But... got some the other morning & they had mashed potatoes in them. Home fries, Country fries, Hash Browns or even Tator Tots- yes, yes, yes. I was really looking forward to Taco Deli opening in Circle C since the Circle C Torchy's service is so poor. Unfortunately, now that it's finally open and I've been there four times, I must say they are on par with Torchy's service. Very slow. Cold food. Horribly bitter margaritas. I sure hope the kids that run the place get raises to they'll begin to care about their customers a bit. read more

This location has rude staff. I find it surprising that nowadays everyone asks for a tip before even placing an order. Hello. The tip is for a service well done. What happened to that logic. Today's young generation that is used to everything free thinks tips also should be free. Get a life. This is not Tacodeli's only problem. Anyway coming back to Tacodeli. If ordering 10 tacos of 5 different types to go, how am I supposed to identify which taco is which once I reach home? Torchy's labels their tacos. Have you ever considered doing that? If not, get it done quickly. No one can order takeout and then open every taco to find which one is which. I hope Tacodeli is not owned by morons. So fix it quickly. Overall the Circle C location is a disappointment. Terrible disappointment. I still like the food in the Spyglass drive location. At least worth giving the tips to them. read more

Time and time again, the Westlake and Rosedale locations have disappointed me by long waits, rude service and wrong to go orders.... refusing to give Tacodeli my business and hard earning $$$ for more than 2 years. Here comes Slaughter Lane location!!! This is my 3rd time coming to the slaughter lane location. Every time has been friendly service, fast food orders and clean relaxing atmosphere. Actually I came in this morning to buy 2 gift cards for co-workers then ordered an Otto breakfast taco to go. Now, I've returned for dinner. Lorenzo working the registers is excellent at his posting. He offers a friendly great smile, informative for 1st timers and super efficient. Lorenzo has work effect you just don't see anymore. Please give him a raise or bonus! I only waited a total of 4 mins for 3 tacos and queso/chips. Slaughter lane won me back. Thank you. read more

I guess there is a reason this location is only a 3. I have been to others and they were good, not great, but good so i thought I would give this one a go. We have a very special member of our team leaving for greener pastures so I wanted to celebrate with tacos. Instead of sticking with places I know, I decided to give the Tacodeli on Slaughter a try. I ordered 5 tacos with a pick up between 9 and 9:15. I got there at 9:02 and was prepared to wait some because I wanted them as hot as possible when I reached the office. I walked in and they were sitting on a counter ready to go only they were not hot at all. No warmth to the touch whatsoever. I told the guy at the counter and he was nice enough and agreed they were cold so he offered to redo them but I did not have time to wait. I was afraid my ticket would be put at the back of the line from everyone else and I had to get to work so I took the cold taco knowing we would need to microwave them. The only reason I gave this place a 2 is because it was an "okay" taco once it was heated. Again, not great, not even good but edible. I get migas tacos with avocado and I would describe mine as "bleh". No spice, no crunch but the avocado was fresh. I like my standards for tacos to be higher than "maybe I won't get food poisoning". This totally turned me off so I won't ever go back to any Taco Deli again read more
