Solid choice for a burrito. The pork adobada burrito is sizeable, not greasy, and has good (not great) flavor. Typical modern taco joint vibe, sort of trying to seem "authentic" with lots of signs in Spanish, but the food definitely plays to the crowd of office workers and such that are all over this place. $14 is no screaming deal, but sadly typical for new school Mexican these days. Definitely fine for stopping by, but not really worth trekking for.

Deluxe Trio con todo - tripa extra crispy, adobada and lengua

Tried Tacomasa and ordered the Deluxe Trio con todo -- extra crispy tripa, lengua, and adobada. The standout for me was definitely the tripa. Super crispy with great texture and flavor without being overly greasy. The lengua was tender, and the adobada had a nice flavor too. Overall, the tacos were solid and satisfying, and the aguas frescas are amazing. Came back again and got the Deluxe Trio one more time -- had the tripas again and also tried the asada. Tripas is still my favorite, but the asada was pretty good too.

Now I remember why I'm not so crazy about the Mexican food in the Bay Area -- it's because of places like this. What might seem like regular tacos around here would absolutely blow the mind of someone from San Francisco, I guess it's like eating pizza in NY. The tacos were delicious and came with all the right accoutrements. I'd definitely love to return, but there are just too many great food spots left to explore. BB

Tacomasa is a vibe. Although it is located in a strip mall in El Segundo, upon entering I just knew this was going to be good! From start to finish the experience at Tacomasa was positive. The cashier was helpful, friendly, and efficient. We ordered an Al pastor burrito, a vampiro with lengua, and agua fresca. Food-wise Tacomasa is good for a strip mall eatery. While I didn't try the Al pastor burrito (4/5) my cousin gobbled it up and kept saying the pork is so tasty! So I think it must've been pretty tasty. I had the vampiro with lengua (3/5) and it was well made but needed some seasoning. I did pour on both salsas which elevated it a lot. It was yummy but I wish I ordered a taco. The agua fresca station was an awesome touch in my opinion. I loved it! And the agua fresca was spot on. Though I wish they refilled it more often because certain ones ran very low. The interior is modern taco shop. I wish they cleaned the tables more often because ours needed a good wipe down. The huge free parking lot was great too. Would I return? Yes! I finally got to try Tacomasa! I've seen videos and read great things about their Tijuana-style tacos. It's super easy to order, whether you go online or at the counter. I went with the carne asada burrito and had to try the pastor taco. The "con todo" taco has onion, cilantro, guacamole, and salsa. The burrito was good, but I think they could have packed it in a bit more since there was a lot of tortilla in the folds. They have lots of drinks, like Pepsi and agua fresca. You can stand and eat or there are a lot of spots outside. I thought the food would be here quicker since it wasn't too busy. Tacomasa also does catering, which is great for businesses in the area.

Nothing out of the ordinary for tacos. The place was very clean and they have standing tables and tables to eat at. Food was made fast and great service. The tacos didnt have that much toppings. Very sparse with the cilantro and onions. Flavor wise, it was okay, it is not worth the price you are paying.

The service is 10/10. You are immediately welcomed with a large cheerful greeting from staff. I think the cashier was ricky and he seemed really nice and helpful especially to the person in front of us who had addition questions. I will say that i considered the portions to be generous. The pollo asado was juicy as well as the carne asada. The asada fries came with skinny fries but got cold as the cheese couldn't melt on the order. And it came with a salsa on it that I didnt enjoy. Other than the salsa i would say the fries were alright. However my favorite item in the establishment was actually the agua fresca. They gave a variety of delicious flavors. My favorites being watermelon and the cucumber pineaplme aguas. The quality of the carne asada was great quality but i felt that it was a bit bland. I felt the same about the salsas. None had a true kick and i hated wasting them. Just my personal opinion but i was disappointed they didn't have anything spicier that came with the food.

First time eating at Tacomasa and it was great! We had their chicken, steak and pork tacos and carne asada fries. Their tacos were really good! Appreciated how much meat they put on it! Carne asada was just okay though. Nothing special to it and wish there were more toppings? The fries seemed like it was out there for a while. Service was great! Workers were really nice and the restaurant was very clean!! Overall a great place to get your taco fix!

Came here as I wanted to get Mexican food before leaving California! After ordering, the food service was slow. It seemed like they were prioritizing online orders. The portion for the deluxe trio quesatacos is pretty large, I wasn't able to finish it! The taco tortillas are big and they put a lottt of meat. I didn't really like the carne asada because the pieces of meat were too big and chewy. I LOVED the chicken though! The chicken was super flavorful and juicy. And definitely a bonus that they have chicken as an option, because a lot of taco places don't. The guacamole was a little mushy and more like a spread. It had a noticeable acidic flavor, which I enjoyed. I wasn't really a fan of the side salsas (green or red) because they were both too spicy for me, but my boyfriend loved the green one. I like that they have different sizes for the sides of beans and rice. There is ample parking and clean bathrooms. The store has more standing tables and not many seats, which I didn't mind. This a good option for Mexican food prior to heading to the airport.

Heard a lot about this place and I finally had a chance to try it. You know this place is busy when they have a blocked pathway for orders and for exiting. The clerk was very helpful answering my questions. I ordered the adobada (pork) torta. When you give a tip, the clerk rings a bell and the entire staff yells out THANK YOU! So cute!!! The food arrives fast and hot. The torta bread was so soft and fresh. The meat had a nice gravy and was delicious. I will definitely return soon. Ok, bye.

Was craving tacos and this place had better reviews than other places around me. 10/10 for customer service, very friendly and welcoming!!! Very chill ambiance!! It was a Friday night and very busy! Love that they also have outside patio seating with heaters!! The tacos were okay, the asada needed more seasoning. I really liked the tripa tacos tho! I will be coming back for those!! I was intrigued to try the Jamaica tacos so I tried the Jamaica vampiro, that was a 9/10 a whole lot better than I expected, actually I did not know what to expect.. hibiscus tacos??? Hmm... they were actually good. I had never tried them before but I'll probably get them again. I also got an elote and it was delicious!! Definitely will be coming back! I have been to a lot of taco spots all throughout LA and San Diego. tacomasa suprising was really good food and reasonably price. the 2 taco combination with rice beans and drink was good price. although putting the rice and beans in little tiny cups was disapointing. overall the place is close to LAX, clean inside plenty of parking and the tacos tasted really good. stop by if your in the area getting to or from the LAX airport. read more

Bomb AFFFFFFF. Great carne asada burrito with big pieces of tender lean steak. No charred fatty bits here. Suuuuuuper gummy fresh tortilla made in house and beautifully light & crisp tortilla chips. Horchata is fine, nothing too write home about. I'll get Jamaica or pineapple cucumber next time. Service is fast and friendly. The seating vibe here is great, lots of shady tables and nice music. For a chain restaurant, they have excellent tacos. I recently had there 2 taco special, which included rice, beans, and a drink. I chose the adobada (pork) and carne asada tacos and they were heavenly. It's a fairly simple menu, with a choice of tacos, quesadillas, burritos, fries, etc. They offer a small range of meats, including tripe. They feel very authentic, with vampiros and elote. The sauces are all good, depending on your spiciness. The spot is bustling, and busy at lunch hour, so time your visit. read more

Came back today to have lunch and I must say Taco masa is listening. The rábanos and the limes are cut fresh and juicy. The food was amazing. The chips are not greasy anymore. They are dog friendly and very clean establishment. I love coming here. I must say it is my favorite from all the locations I've been to. I wish the El segundo location was more like this one. There are three types of tacos and burritos: the down and dirty I-dont-care-about-my-health taco truck goodness, the local-mom-and-pop-tacqueria, and the elegant-elevated Mexican restaurant. Tacomasa sits between the taco trucks and elegant-elevated Mexican restaurant that looks like the inside of bare-bones mom-and-pop Mexican restaurant. 3.5 By that I mean the ingredients are higher quality cuts of meat and ingredients, where the kitchen looks like it's run as a taco truck, but somehow the end product is a decent tasting carne asada burrito with little to no flavor but I don't feel bad about my health because the ingredients are clean. It's a confusing experience where I'm not sure if the carne asada isn't seasoned well and there isn't just any grease to make me feel like my soul is complete. But my stomach is full and my tastebuds are kind of like "I felt something" but not amazed. Service though is completely friendly where there's a lot of staff hanging around to either bring food or expedite, and they'll tell you where things are or ask if you want more salsa if you've run out. Overall, I'm a bit conflicted about this place but it's not something I would actively crave for unless I'm really wanting a taco or burrito and I couldn't find a truck nearby. read more

Only a few days later and I had to come back. Like I said in my last post, the next time I came back I was going to try their burrito. I got the asada burrito with everything on it. It definitely was delicious. I loved that they use that type of flour tortilla I love. It's the one that tastes homemade, it's soft, and plyable. It's not like the Guerrero or Mission brand. Now if they offered a bean and cheese burrito and the refried beans was the way I like it, I would never have to go anywhere else for Mexican food. I would definitely become a regular. Of course I got the elote and the hibiscus tea (jamica) again. They are my favorite! read more

Not much to choose from but the food came out great. I got the three tacos steak pork and chicken and they didn't hold back on the meat which I loved. The burrito was also very big portion and very good (had steak). The only thing to complain about was their California pricing as I was kinda still hungry after finishing my food. I also hate those machines after they take your order (like fast food) that make you feel the need to tip them. It was completely dead around 4pm on a Friday. They had outdoor heaters which I thought was very good for outdoor seating at night. read more

Efrain and the whole team at Tacomasa never disappoint! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The service is just as impressive. Gonzalo and Efrain make you feel like family every time you walk in, and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. Whether it's tacos, burritos, or their specialty plates, everything comes out perfectly cooked and seasoned. It's rare to find a spot that delivers both excellent food and outstanding hospitality, but Tacomasa nails it every time. I'd like to take a moment to share my experience from my visit on 12/18/2025. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Efrain, who also took our order. We found ourselves a bit torn on what to choose, but Efrain offered some fantastic suggestions that really helped us decide. This was my first time being introduced to a stamp card, which I had no idea existed! We typically come by at least once a week, so it's a bit surprising that we didn't know about it earlier. If we had, we probably would have been here even more often. After we received our food, Efrain made sure to check in on us regularly, not just us but other customers as well. I appreciated how he took the initiative to clear our table after we finished a dish, and he even brought extra napkins and salsas when he noticed we needed more. Overall, it was a fantastic experience--definitely worth a 10/10! Thank you once again, Efrain, for such attentive service! read more

Good not great. Very similar concept, menu and layout to The Taco Stand. About 20% more expensive and does not have the beloved California Burrito on the menu. Also a major disappointment is that rice is standard in their burritos. Plus is the cleanliness, taste and they offer mulitas. read more

Definitely one of the smallest burritos I have ever had. The flavor was good, actually very good, and the sauce was solid. Unfortunately that was also portioned light, with the container only about half full. No chips with the burritos, and they were $10.50 each, which was higher than the listed online price. Bottom line, the taste delivers but the portion does not. Barely three stars

Before her food was ready, she received an emergency call and had to leave immediately. That's the reality of being a first responder--when a call comes in, you leave immediately, no time to wait for your meal. Before leaving, she politely asked the cashier to cancel the order and refund her card. Instead of showing understanding or offering assistance, the cashier was dismissive and unhelpful. After completing the call, my daughter contacted the restaurant, apologized for the inconvenience, and again requested a refund. She was initially told that the receipt had been thrown away. Later, the receipt was apparently found, but she was then informed that if she wanted a refund--or even the food she had paid for--she would have to return to the location in person. The problem is that she lives more than an hour away and was only in the area because she was working. I called the following day in an attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I was met with the same attitude. The employee refused to provide her name, refused to provide a manager's name, and refused to provide any contact information for someone who could address the complaint. To be clear, this is not about the cost of a meal. Had the employee been courteous, professional, or even remotely helpful, we likely would have let the matter go. Emergencies happen. Schedules change. We understand that. What prompted this review was not the lost food or the refund itself--it was the employee's rude attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete unwillingness to help resolve a simple customer service issue. I will also acknowledge that by the end of my phone call, I became frustrated and was not as polite as I should have been. I regret that. However, that frustration came only after repeated attempts to handle the situation respectfully and being met with rudeness and resistance at every turn. A business can recover from a mistake. What it cannot afford is employees who treat customers with contempt and then refuse to provide any way to contact management when a legitimate concern is raised. Management should be aware that this employee's behavior reflects poorly on the entire business. If this is how customers are treated when they encounter an unexpected emergency, then potential customers deserve to know before choosing to spend their money here.

I quickly pulled them up on Yelp and saw some solid reviews, plus the taco photos looked mouthwatering. I instantly changed my mind about Cane's for myself and decided to give this spot a try. I ordered two tacos, my go-to picks: Asada and Al Pastor. One thing that caught my eye was their tortillas being made fresh on a conveyor belt-style machine. Always a good sign! Asada: 3.5/5 Flavorful and satisfying. Nothing mind-blowing, but a solid choice if you're craving carne asada. Al Pastor: 3/5 This one was a little too chewy for my taste. I had a very disappointing experience at TacoMasa. First off, I was charged extra for upgrading my drink size, but the cashier never mentioned there would be an additional charge. I only found out after seeing the bill, which felt like a sneaky surprise. When we asked what toppings came with the tacos, the cashier told us that they all came with guacamole, salsa, onions, and cilantro. However, the Lengua taco I ordered came out plain, without any of the toppings that were promised. It was basic and lacked flavor, which was really frustrating for something that should have been a highlight. To make things worse, my Asada taco had extra pieces of fat or tissue, making it hard to enjoy. Taco Masa is hands down my favorite taco spot in the South Bay -- and it's not even close. The tripa, steak, and pork tacos are my go-tos, and every single time they hit. The flavors are layered, the meat is cooked perfectly, and you can tell real care goes into every taco that comes out of the kitchen. The service has always been wonderful too. My last visit Ashley helped me out and just reminded me how positive the customer service is here -- the kind of warm, friendly energy that genuinely puts you in a good mood. The service was really good! Ashley helped us by giving us menus so we would have to look up! She was also patient with our orders, since it was our first time in the restaurant. The food was just amazing ! The tripas were done just right! "Doraditas" crispy just like in Mexico with lots of flavor! The steak tacos were also so good and packed with flavor! The adobada was also really flavorful! I got 4 tacos total and 2 of them with cheese "quesatacos" and let me tell you 2 would have been enough! I had the pollo asado taco, and it was equally fantastic. The rice and beans were also delicious (home made just like my mom's)! This is our go to local Mexican spot. Food is always on point! The restaurant is always very clean and has a very nice vibe. You can get takeout or sit inside or outside for casual dining. The green salsa was exquisite. I will definitely be back. This place is only 2 miles from my home. I took my neighbor there and she had the fries with tongue. I don't really eat tongue, but she said they were amazing and I did tried a couple and the french fries and they were perfect : soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. TacoMasa in El Segundo is a must-visit, but what truly made my experience stand out was the exceptional service from Ashley. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind throughout my entire visit, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I had a few specific requests that included a bean and cheese burrito, pollo asado fries, and an asada burrito that I asked to have made without rice. Ashley handled every adjustment with a smile and perfect accuracy. Tacomasa absolutely delivered. The tacos were packed with flavor, the meat was tender and well seasoned, and everything tasted fresh. The homemade salsas were excellent and had the perfect amount of heat. The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and the service was friendly and fast. We tried the asada and adobada, and both were outstanding. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. If you're looking for authentic street-style tacos that actually live up to the hype, this is the place. I finally tried Tacomasa and WOW... hands down some of the best carne asada tacos I've had in a long time. The meat is super flavorful, perfectly grilled, and not dry at all (which is rare). You can actually taste that smoky, charred flavor in every bite. The tortillas were fresh, the toppings were simple but on point, and their salsa took it to another level I also loved that everything tasted clean and not greasy. You can tell they care about quality. If you're a carne asada taco person, this spot is 100% worth it. I'll definitely be coming back... probably sooner than I should Nos vemos pronto! read more

As someone who has sampled many taco spots in Los Angeles and Mexico, I was disappointed with my experience here. I don't mean to disrespect, but I need to share my honest thoughts. I had high hopes because it's close to home, but it fell short. The Asada meat was undercooked and lacked flavor. The al pastor didn't include pineapple, which is essential for an authentic al pastor. The wait time was excessive--25 minutes for a taco that arrived cold, despite the place being overstaffed. Additionally, serving tacos with Pepsi instead of a cold, crisp Coca-Cola Classic is a letdown. I won't be returning. read more
