Not too fond of the rice sides but my bf seems to like them. Oh n the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla is sooooo freakin good! I did have an experience where I found a hair in my food and the manager was very apologetic! He comped my meal and offered me a free meal (which I used on my next visit). read more

I can't say enough Good about this place. I had the grilled chicken with puffy shell taco, the fajita chicken taco and the queso rice. I ate every bite and kept telling my husband over and over how great it was. The chicken alone in it was so flavorful and moist. These are NOT at all skimpy either like so many other places. My husband is a very picky eater so he wanted only beef and cheese on his tacos. They had a childs 2 taco that was just that. Let me say he was extremely happy with them as well. They were so filled with meat and cheese just like he would make at home. It came with cheese dip and chips as well. Large portions to be a kids meal. We were amazed. No for the staff. they ALL were so nice and happy to help with anything. They actually seemed to be happy to be at work. We had never been before so the lady at the register went over the menu and was so nice with answering my questions and gave advice when asked, even though they were extremely busy. So patient. I asked a guy for a to go menu so I could look over it more for a later visit, because I knew I would be coming back for sure. Found out he was a manager. We had a nice talk. This business also has a program that helps to feed children and all that information is in the wall and on the tables. Can't say enough about how that touches my heart. Against my better judgment, I decided to try this place out. You know that saying about listening to your gut, yeahhhhh wish I had done that. Purchased 6 tacos with my gf and we couldn't have been more disappointed, the best part of the meal was the jarritos (soda, would highly recommend the pineapple). Tacos were SUPER bland, the best taco of the 6 had to be the Korean BBQ (a little on the sweet side but still tasty). Besides that the two chicken tacos (grilled & bacon ranch) were the equivalent of a bad Taco Bell chalupa, super messy presentation and just no life overall. On the other end of the spectrum, the chipotle steak, was SUPER over seasoned and just way to peppery. The chorizo taco was undeniably questionable looking, looked like canned meat and we just couldn't finish it. To add insult to injury the trio (salsa, guacamole and queso) had to be the worst I've ever tasted in my life. Not only was it once again bland, the queso was basically soup and I got the feeling the guacamole was from a bag. Also the chips, oh the chips poor things. :,( If you're in the market for a hot new spot and you're not looking for the most flavorful meal, definitely try this place but there are WAYYY better taco spots in Charlotte for half the price and much better customer service. The food is unique. It is very tasty. We picked 3 tacos and a side to share. To top it off, because I signed up for the rewards points and my bday is next week, we got a free Trio. We tried the Korean BBQ.... It definitely has a kick!!! We tried the traditional beef.... Yummo!!! We also got the Chicken Bacon Ranch. It is by far my favorite!!! Decided to give this spot a try. My Saturday evening Covid-19 meal. Placed order online and given time meal would be ready. Ordered the fish taco meal w/refried beans as side and included an order of chips. Major surprise the front side and back side of this place was full of cars waiting for their takeout orders. (It was about 5:30p....dinner crowd). As directed by the email confirmation I called to let them know I had arrived and even through in where exactly I was parked. Employee with clipboard came and confirmed my name. He added they were running about 30 minutes behind on orders. My order was to be ready about 5:38p but was brought out around 6:05p. Got home and was surprised at the portion. Though it was cold I ate one of the tacos. It was very good. The Mahi-mahi was seasoned well and the cabbage slaw had a sweet crunchy flavor and was a great compliment to the spicy aioli sauce drizzled on. The chips were just meh to me. Almost store bought with seasoning salt sprinkled on. The bag was very greasy. The refried beans were ok as well. They had a little flavor to them rather than just some mashed up beans. Now I know why it was so busy. I will definitely be returning once I can eat on site when it is hot out the kitchen. read more

This review is based on our first visit, on a Wednesday 6-6:30pm. The parking lot appeared almost full but there were plenty of seats available. The cashier was great; friendly, helpful and informative. We chose the Mango Habanero Chicken, (grilled) Hawaiian Shrimp, Korean BBQ Steak and Spicy Chorizo tacos. We loved them all; very fresh ingredients and well seasoned. We also had the Ultimate Trio dip; good but the queso was very thin. As a Snickerdoodle connoisseur , had to try one; on the small side (for the price), not much flavor, doesn't come close to my recipe. Staff is standing by to clean up/clear tables and management appeared to be hands on. We look forward to returning and trying other selections AND supporting a business that gives back. Update: we returned 2 days later lol and tried other tacos; the Mahi Mahi was good/flavorful. The Crab Cake was mediocre; sautéed/pan fried too dark on the outside, laid on top of a bed of shredded head lettuce. No sauce. Actually took it home @ added sauce there. The Chicken/Bacon/Ranch taco was great. Much prefer the puffy taco shells! Also had the Mexican creamed corn side- loved it, flavorful but wish the serving size was larger for the price. This place has great tacos. Especially for a first time being here. It's a little pricey (3-5 per taco) I had three tacos the grilled chicken, the mango Haberno, and the carnitas. The best one was the grilled chicken. They are very generous with the lettuce and condiments on the taco which I didn't like but they where generous with the meat. Also I asked for a box and thought the lady forgot about me but she came back in and said she was getting off work and remembered she hadn't gave us our boxes yet and I thought that was outstanding services. Went here today for a quick lunch. Hadn't tried it and wanted to give it a try. Menu is very small and limited. Waitress was polite. We ordered a mahi mahi taco, table size queso dip, and a chicken burrito with a drink. That came up to $25.00!!!!! Okay so I'm thinking I am getting at least two of the Mahi Mahi tacos if not 3 for that price. So we did not have to wait long at all for your food. Tell me why it was only 1 dang taco!!! Like huh!! For $25.00 I was expecting way more than that. It was definitely not worth that price. We could have gone to a Mexican restaurant and gotten twice as much food as we got at this place.
