I've seen them around town and at different events elsewhere but decided to finally try them today…read moreat movement brewing. It only took roughly 10 minutes to receive my loaded fries and po boy sandwich. Everything tasted excellent. I was a little skeptical at the portion to price ratio but the fries and sandwich were pretty loaded. I didn't expect the sandwich to include a side of plain fries so that was a nice little bonus. The flavor and spices were on point. I'll have to try their other proteins next time.

We ended up ordering the Jambalaya ($15) and Shrimp and Grits ($12) and didn't wait too long before it was ready for us. Luckily we beat the rush and we were excited to dig in. Both dishes were a generous size and came with a couple hush puppies (I LOVE hush puppies). Out of the two we both loved the shrimp and grits the most, but that may be a personal preference- both were delicious. We were also asked if we like spicy and since we answered yes our dishes had a good level of heat. The portions were sharable and we ended up taking leftovers home with us. We would absolutely stop by again.

The truck was in Elk Grove for one of the weekly Food Truck Mania's. I always like to try something…read moredifferent, so I decided to order some food from them. The owner enticed me by offering samples of the jambalaya, which I loved. It was spicy and flavorful. I wished I ordered it, but I wanted to try the shrimp po' boy (with coleslaw dressing). I got the combo which included a choice of side and I went with the macaroni and cheese. The sandwich was $10 and sides cost $3, but with a combo I paid $12.50. It was a difference of $.50- not much of a combo. The meal was a bit pricy. The bread on the po'boy had a crisp crust. The coleslaw was kind of bland. The shrimp wasn't fried but sautéed. There was an abundant amount of shrimp with every bite. I hate it when you eat a sandwich and you end up with more bread than filling, but that wasn't the case here. Even so, I think I would've enjoyed the hotlink po' boy more. The macaroni and cheese was good.

I really wish I could leave a star rating for separate portions of this journey…read more 1. price is very reasonable for a food truck serving sea food sandwiches 2. The size of the food wasn't bad could have been better but again on par for a food truck 3. Taste VERY GOOD. The shrimp Po'boy and the oyster both had a fresh look and taste which I wasn't sure what to really expect from a food truck Those 3 areas this place gets a full 4 stars Moving onto the other 2 1. Service: Not only slow but not the most friendly either. Kinda short with the customer and when people were asking why they were skipped Over or not receiving food the lady was snappy and quiet rude at times. 2. Wait times, holy hell. I know I'm not going to get fast food times from a food truck, but nearly 25 mins for two sandwiches and fries is down right terrible. I get it was a busy event, but how about an apology an update something that says, sorry this isn't normal we are trying. Nothing, the wait was so bad in fact folks in line we warning other customers and many moved on as time was running low on the event we were attending Additionally, can you please staff 1 more person. You have a cook who did a great job the food was awesome, you have an order taking person who did a good job on food consistency and presentation. However you would benefit from a 3rd person to focus on the customer interaction and customer service aspect. Overall food alone gets a 4 but the rest really shows me why this food truck averages a 3 star review Which sucks because I reallly wanted this to be amazing because I love the little local guys

We were in the mood for street tacos after going Thanksgiving shopping and called to find this…read moreplace. We ordered the Quesabirria tacos they were good but definitely use the broth to dip it in, oh and those sweet onions! soooooo goood too. There wasn't anyone else there we went around 1:30pm on the Wednesday before the holiday. The food truck is located in an Industrial strip mall area. They do not accept credit cards on the weekends - CASH ONLY for Saturdays so be prepared. I also got the Al Pastor, Chicken and Carne Asada we all felt like they were on a 'dry' side so grab their yummy salsa while you are there. Soft drinks and bottled sangria are available for beverages. Respectfully Reviewed

Very friendly and down to earth business owners…read more First time going there I wasn't sure about what to expect of the food quality but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered 5 street taco de cabeza and they were so flavorful and loaded with meat. The super burrito with carne asada was delicious as well and filling. Their red spicy salsa is delicious. I normally don't enjoy my food unless the salsa hits the spot and this one did. I even got some to go :) We will try their birria tacos next time. They gave us a sample to try and their goat was juicy and not gamy. Beef was also delicious for those of you who aren't as adventurous as I am. They also do catering for those who are interested. Will definitely be coming back to get my Mexican food craving fill.
