ASADA FRIES, TACO DE BIRRIA, TACOS DE ASADA (bottom to top)

This place has such speedy service and an amazing salsa/condiment bar. The food is delishhh i loved their consume. Also, all the salsas were sooo good i tried a few different ones to just try out, all absolutely delicious. The only complaint i have is i thought i was going to get guacamole on my fries!! But other than that, amazing little spot for mexican food.

Love the Vibe, super clean and simple design, great musica and the service was exceptional. We got the ASADA Fries to share, and the carne was so good and not all fatty, made me wish I got there 4 tacos for $10, I did get the QUESOTACOS, which are birria with melted cheese cilantro onions and with consommé to dip them in of course, they were filled with so much juicy meat, I've never had a birria taco this big before again good cut of meat. my husband loves lengua Burrito and he hasn't been this happy about a burrito. Salsa bar was on point! Overall 5 stars! Must try!

I randomly craved tacos and decided to try this spot since it's nearby. I was not disappointed! The pineapple to the al pastor adds such a good flavor. I also got the asada and chicken, but I would stick to asada and al pastor next time! I also got carne asada fries and those weren't too bad. They do use cheese similar to nacho cheese. Service is great and the place is clean! I will definitely come back. The price is reasonable for a taco too.

I used to go to the Tacos Chapala in Stockton so when I found out they were opening a location in Sacramento, I had to go check it out. The staff are friendly and the place is brightly decorated. Pros: I typically get their burritos. My favorite is the California burrito. There's a decent salsa bar, they have a good variety of salsa of varying heat levels. Plenty of parking is available and located close to the freeway. I noticed they even offered birria ramen which is on my list to try. Cons: none

Tacos Chapala is a great, new addition to the plaza across CRC. Originally from Stockton, Tacos Chapala has opened their storefront in Sacramento just recently! My partner and I were excited to try and this lived up to our expectations. We were greeted with warm smiles and welcomes immediately as we walked in. Employees were friendly and answered questions about the menu, even providing recommendations! There were a few tables for people to dine-in and a fully stocked and clean sauce bar. Card payments are accepted but bring cash if you want to tip. At the time we went, tip using card wasn't working. Food itself was delicious! We ordered 4 tacos, carne fries and horchata. They definitely do not skimp and everything tasted fresh! We are looking forward to our next visits and trying more.

They have locations in Stockton and Manteca and now one here in Sacramento/Elk Grove by the Foods Co center. They had a soft opening recently and were offering $1 tacos so we decided to try them. We chose carne asada, lengua, cabeza and al pastor. Let me tell you, they do not skimp on the portions! Meats were all flavorful and they have a salsa/sauce bar too. Sautéed jalapeños and onions included. Got us a side order of rice and chips too. The restaurant is spacious, clean and modern. Service was top notch! Shoutout to Perla, Chuy and Ivonne, they were very nice and awesome. Go check them out!

Tacos Chapala showed up on my instagram recently, so I decided to give them a try. Their ribeye tacos and burrito are exquisite. And well worth the price of admission alone. Ther al pastor was flavorful, smokey and I loved the pineapple slice. I sampled several of their salsas, and enjoyed them. The price is just about right, and I could see myself becoming a regular here. I think they're still working everything out as I only observed two people running the place on a Saturday night. An extra pair of hands or two could help speed up the wait times. Indoor seating was limited but there was plenty of seating outside in the patio and side of the building. The music was good.

Food was delicious and service was excellent. I found my new favorite spot .this is my first time and I only tried the taco's , I had one of each ( tripas, asada , el pastor and the birria ) once I tasted the tripas I knew I'm going to like their food . The burritos are huge , that's how the other places use to serve it back 2 years ago . Now that I know where taco Chapala is that's where I'll be going I'd like to try everything in the menu .

They ran out of carne asada on a Friday night :( but the al pastor was pretty good. Upcharge for chips but well worth it. Their salsa variety is great. I would come again to try the asada.

Tripas, Lengua, Asada and Alpastor tacos.

Social media trap! After scrolling through these tacos we decided to make the 30min trip. They have fair pricing. Tripas are deep fried which makes them super crunchy like chicharrones not my preferred way 2/10. Asada is thin cut steak on the flat top but lacks flavor and the smokiness of real carne asada 3/10. Lengua was also bland with good texture but very small protein portion in the 2 overcrunchy tortillas, the tortillas should be hot and soft and steamed would be the best! 3/10 Cabeza they were out of it. Alpastor was probably the best protein and this had obviously the most meat-tortilla ratio with good flavor 5/10 The ribeye/Tijuana taco which is the reason we made the trip was indeed the best still nowhere close to other ribeye tacos I've had South. 7/10 The salsa bar is nice and the service is very attentive.

Tacos Chapala is a new taqueria near CRC and has only been open about a month. I stopped in and tried the carne asada, pollo, birria, and al pastor tacos. The tacos were delicious, flavorful, and packed with meat. They have a salsa bar with many options to choose from. (The green guacamole salsa was the spiciest in my opinion). Service was friendly and attentive. There is plenty of seating inside and outside in their patio. I only wish they had refried beans, chips with their salsa bar, and a fountain drink dispenser. Tacos are worth your money so stop in and give it a try. Note: this place is located right beside the EZ Jewelry store. The Yelp directions seem to take you to the wrong spot in the plaza.

Quesa Tacos Asada 10/10 bomb (:

Tried Tacos Chapala for the first time and it did not disappoint. The girl working was very friendly and nice. I love that they have a nice selection of salsas to choose from and they are pretty tasty/spicy. There crispy tacos were my favorite, super flavorful and meat was so tender! Next time i would like to try their Birria/consome when available (: but overall a pretty decent taqueria!

I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. The Steak a la Chicana was a generous portion, which is definitely 2 meals for me. Cilantro rice wasn't anything special. The SWEET CORN TAMALITO is yummy comfort. We totally forgot with everything we have going on that day that it was dine downtown. The menu looked good, but I was already set on getting pozole so we didn't order off the dine downtown menu. Plus, we've also been here plenty of times and love it already. We were really bummed to find out that you get charged for chips and salsa and they don't come out automatically without asking and it also the charge is dependent on how many people are in your party. Also, when the chips came out, there was only one salsa, which hasn't usually been the case. We're not sure if this was just some modifications because of dine downtown happening, but it was a bummer. We ordered the taquitos for an appetizer and those were OK..nothing special. I ordered the pozole verde with chicken, which is my favorite! And my best friend ordered the Carnitas plate. My posole was really good. It came with the side of the status and all the toppings. However, the Carnitas lacked flavor and were a bit dry. Neither of us would probably order that again. We also ordered a couple of blended mockaritas, one strawberry and one mango and both were tasty, but the strawberry would definitely needed another blend as there were a big chunks of ice. I think that because of the craziness with dine downtown..service and food quality we're a bit lacking, but I will always come back to Mayahuel for the pozole verde !

I visited this past Saturday and it was quite busy inside like it always is. The restaurant is large enough to fit a lot of people, so finding a seat isn't an issue. To order, you line up in front of the register and wait until they call you. Once it was my turn, I ordered a Super Burrito with Al Pastor, which is my favorite protein choice there. Usually I order 2 tacos with my burrito but I was saving room for Korean bbq that day! The Super Burrito comes with your choice of meat, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. I also ordered a medium pineapple agua fresca, which paired perfectly with my burrito. After ordering, you're handed a number to take to your table so the servers know where to bring your food. As I'm waiting for my food, I helped myself to the self-serve chip bar. The chip bar is my favorite thing about the restaurant besides the food and quick service. I always get loads of both the white and red pickled onions, and some salsa to go with my chips. They offer many sides to choose from so that anyone can customize their meal to their liking. The pickled onions have the perfect level spice and acidity to them which helps with cutting down the greasiness you may get from a burrito. I also like to snack on them for fun too! The food comes out extremely quickly. When I finished placing my order and brought my number to my table, I went to the self-serve bar right after to get some chips. Not even 2-3 minutes later, I came back to my table with my burrito already there! The burrito was absolutely delicious and piping hot. It's the perfect size for me and eating it with the pineapple agua fresca and some chips makes it a perfect meal! Coming to La Favorita Taqueria is always a treat and I appreciate the quick customer service, self-serve bar, and delicious food!
