Asada Torta with chips, guac and queso
Scott F.

Tacos Coranay is a hit. The new brick and mortar is fantastic. The set up is pretty standard. The advantage to the food truck is you can see all the side options and toppings. I went with the Asada Torta. The bread was still soft even though it hits the flattop and the steak was very flavorful. No complaints. The restaurant was clean and the salsa bar options were also very good. Can't wait to come back.

Delicious tacos! Super friendly staff, even when you can't pronounce some of the items, they smile and try to help. Chicken was super flavorful and the portions were nice size for the cost. Chips were crunchy and tasted fresh as did the guacamole I ordered with them. Nice to be able to add both cheese and queso fresco without an up charge. Hot peppers!! So good and the sautéd onions! Definitely help to make this simple meal a step above. Highly recommended and I will be stopping by again next time I'm in town.

Finally able to try the new store, it is slightly different from the food truck menu. The food is still great, but the menu has more your normal items like quesadillas, tacos, and burritos. The menu is missing my favorite beef tongue, they said they moved the food truck they still served that there. The restaurant is small but clean and comfortable. The service is fast and fantastic, can't wait to come back for more.

I've driven by Tacod Coranay many times. I drove by the location when it was a food truck behind the gas BP gas station, and never inquired. Today, I stopped at the gas station to see if the post office was still located inside the BP, and after getting into my car, I saw two women standing behind the restaurant, and bring that I was starving, I decided to hop back into my car, and go check them out. There's patio seating and inside seating as well. The restaurant looked clean. The tables looked clean. I opted to use the kiosk and placed my order. I ordered a steak bowl, a vegetarian bowl, a quesabirria, a pineapple juice, and a bottle of water. The kiosk was a little wonky with the rice choice as it was not visible to see either options. Since I couldn't see what the rice options were, I picked one of each. My husband's vegetarian bowl had rice, and my bowl was rice free. My order was ready for pickup within 10 minutes. I had to ask for my drink. My steak bowl was good. I added the birria sauce yo my bowl, and that took it yo a different level. Guacamole would be a great addition. I shared my bowl with my son, and he liked it. The quesabirria was delicious. My husband said I can buy him food from there again, and coming from him, that's huge. There's a sauce and utensils area to grab your own sauces. There's food warmer displays with dishes and side dishes. I am glad I finally stopped by to try Tacos Coranay.

I drive past Tacos Coranay all the time otw to Indian Land, and finally stopped in out of curiosity but after one visit, I'm not sure I'd drop in again. The tacos aren't bad by any stretch (let's be honest, tacos are tacos) but they also didn't stand out in a way that makes me excited to go back. I tried: asada, pastor, and campechano... and while each had its own flavor, I didn't find a clear favorite among them. Nothing was unpleasant, but nothing really popped either. The pastor had decent seasoning, the asada was competent, and the campechano was serviceable, but overall they just blended together without a memorable moment. One detail that stood out (and not in a good way) was that all of the tacos I received were served on flour tortillas. I'm not sure if this is standard for all customers or if I just got unlucky that day, but for tacos of that style I would've expected corn tortillas by default. Overall, Tacos Coranay didn't disappoint I guess, but it also didn't exceed expectations. I appreciate that it's a convenient otw spot, but based on this visit, I haven't found anything there that makes me want to return.

I can't believe it's taken us this long to try out this food truck! The most authentic and fresh tacos I have had in the area! And fully loaded! They are generous with the amount of protein on each taco. Love the topping of grilled onions and fresh cilantro, and fresh veggies! They also give you sauce options on the side ranging from mild to spicy. Only $3 per taco!! We fed our family of 4 for $24! Food came out fast. You have the option to eat under their outdoor covered area, or takeout. We are looking forward to going back to try additional items.

Was looking for a late breakfast while running errands with my kiddo. We're not from this area and usually enjoy a good Bojangles sandwich when we're in town, but as we waited to take a turn we saw this taco truck tucked away behind the Exxon gas station. We're always up for an adventure and LOVE taco trucks. I measure taco trucks by one menu item: tacos. Kid had 3 chicken and I had an assortment. My kid was definitely a fan. He says 5 stars. I was slightly less impressed but it was still good. We paired them with Mexican Cokes and some homemade flour-based, friend chips they sell. I'd come again to try the other menu items including burritos, tostadas, tortas, and quesadillas.

I've been following these guys on Instagram and today realized how close they were to my…read moreneighborhood in Fort Mill, SC. I got several to try, the shrimp, carnitas and pork. I asked they hold the onions/pico de gallo but when I got them...they forgot. He offered to re-make them and I said, no that's OK, I'll just pick the onions off. He said there was a miscommunication between him & the cook, so...it happens. He added a ground beef taco for free, so I was good with that. These are 'street tacos' which all that really means is they are on the small side. You have a choice of corn, flour or hard corn tortillas/shells. They will add taco sauce if you wish. The quality is very good, they are fresh and flavorful. Their prices are reasonable as well, $2.75 to $3.75 each. They also have cold beverages on ice, soda and water. The guy at the register told me that business has been good post COVID. They are committed to the location by the Fairway ABC store at the corner of Route 160 (Tom Hall) and Route 460 (Fort Mill Parkway). They plan to add an awning and picnic tables and begin to serve breakfast in the near future. They will also continue to be at the Walter Elisha Park for the summer concert series. He said they had considered a brick & mortar store in Fort Mill but have put that idea on hold. NOTE: NO CASH -credit cards only!

We absolutely love these tacos!…read more I'm taking away 1 star for way too much of wait time to get the food (we waited close to half an hour and only had 3-4 people ahead of us). Another minus this time was comparatively less shrimp on my tacos than the last time. It was super loaded last time.. Having said that - love their tacos... ! Give it
