This place lets you get all the toppings included in with your taco price that includes guacamole and queso, which is crucial. I've tried the tacos the kids quesadilla and the loaded potato and honestly, everything was really solid. It would be 7.5 out of 10 in Texas, but in Denver, it's a 10 out of 10. Must try. Also the HORCHATA IS AMAZING. Homemade tortillas for Denver standard of Mexican food some of the best. For Texas standard they are all right, but definitely not bad. Service is good they take a little time in terms of when you start your tacos cs when you order as in 3-4 minutes because they make the tortillas fresh. Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner! I went with a friend right around noon on Saturday, and we only had a small wait in line do go through the ordering process. Entrees come with a protein, guac, and toppings - I thought it was great to just have one all-inclusive price and not have to navigate the pricing of different toppings. I ordered a loaded baked potato. The pastor and brisket were tasty. I'm used to more tender brisket, but the flavor was still good. The potato skin was so tough that I couldn't cut through it with the plastic knives available. It might be nice to have more sturdy dinnerware in the future if possible. The topping choices were plentiful with grilled, pickled, and fresh onions, cilantro, cotija cheese, queso, guacamole, pico de gallo, and a full salsa bar. read more

New taco spot with homemade tortillas! This place is right in front of Kohl's. I love that they actually include guacamole in their taco price, even though it was a very small portion. And you gotta love the salsa bar. They even had grilled fresh jalapeño. Some were super hot and some pretty mild. Luck of the draw! I enjoyed the carne asada and barbacoa tacos on flour tortilla. I love all the fixings in the salsa bar. Tacos were very affordable. Place was very clean. Service was friendly, mostly younger kids. Parking was easy in front. We'll be back! read more

Tried out Tacos De Humo today and have to say that I kinda like the concept. Gone are the days of dining at modern chipotles being replaced with theatrical versions of original taco houses. Ordered two of the smoked brisket tacos which came with a healthy helping of protein, guacamole, pickled onions, and pico. Large salsa bar with some seriously spicy offerings ranging down to the mild ones is onsite. The protein was a bit of a letdown being served in cube form which was brisket, but missing was all smokiness your craving. Great new local taco place. It used to be a Dickey's BBG. I love trying the new local places and this one is a hit. Great parking, nice area of town, plenty of seating (including outdoor seating) and pleasant staff. The building is clean and the decor is fun. Plenty to choose from, food wise. I went with a nachos and a baked potato. You choose what you want on your items very similar to a Chipotle. The options are many and are quite fresh. Being able to smother a baked potato in more than bacon and sour cream was both yummy and fun. This place is great and I suggest you give it a try. read more

I was so excited to finally try this place, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations! I love that it's a family-owned business, and from the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The tacos were absolutely delicious: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. One of my favorite little details was the paper towel roll hanging at each table. NOW OPEN.. This place has been open for 1 month. I can tell you, this business is gonna boom once the word gets out, this is one of the best tacos that I have had in a very long time. Made the order toco. Tortillas corn or flower are made fresh. The meat is smoked or grilled. Lots toppings to go with it, all your choice of what you want on it. The chips were delicious, nice and fresh and crispy. The queso was beautifully done and extra creamy. You have your choice of pinto, beans or refried beans. And a salsa bar with everything imaginable on it, from extra extra hot salsa to mild. Many different kinds of drinks (non alcoholic). Cassandra, Miguel & Austin, were a delight to talk to. Very friendly. We sat out on the patio where they had covered tables with umbrellas. Nice & clean. I highly recommend this place. These are the best tacos this side of Texas. Check em out. The food was excellent for the price! I got the Nachos with Al Pastor meat& it was delicious. My wife got the loaded baked potato and she loved it, but couldn't finish it. The potato had so much goodness stuffed inside that she had to take it home. Our friend got the Quesadilla and he loved it too. They made the tortillas right in front of us. The staff are so friendly and welcoming that it felt like home. The ambiance is very cozy and homely, like being with friends. Wow, what a great addition to the area. We sampled the tacos, nachos and quesadilla. All with various meats. Also, there's a loaded potato option that I have to try next time. Quesadilla has a great grilled cheesy like quality on a great flour tortilla. Tacos were great! I gotta try the corn tortillas next time. But the nachos. Wow. This place just opened in our neighborhood and we got takeout last night. It may just be our new go-to. They have a family dinner that feeds several and we split our protein between carne asada and barbacoa. It includes tortillas and all the sides and toppings. There is also a salsa bar with a variety of salsas, escabeche, limes and grilled jalapeños. The food was great, and the young people working there were lovely. New local gem in my neighborhood. I ordered tacos and a quesadilla. All of the tortillas are made in house. Barbacoa was my favorite but all of the meats were flavorful and tender. You are able to customize the tacos with some toppings which I appreciated and they also have a self service salsa bar which to me is always a good sign.
