    Great little spot!

It seems to be a hit or miss. At times, their burritos have more meat than fillers (beans and rice) and it's delicious. Other times I'm eating a bean and rice burrito. When it's on point, this is my second favorite spot in Vallejo with a solid 4 stars. When it's a miss, it's a two star spot. Hence the three stars that I gave them.

Tacos for breakfast, yes please! Tried the lengua, carnitas, and asada tacos- all were fantastic. Full of flavor and tender meat. If I lived in the area, I'd be here all the time.

Sauce plain no flavor, rice and beans do not recommend

More like 3.8ish Ordered the Supreme burrito which was $11 and my wife ordered the barissa plate. Not much seating about 3 or 4 tables if I remember correctly but it's a nice little taco truck with a handful of parking spots. Wait time was decent about 15 minutes for 2 entrees. Burrito was a decent size not small or too big, I'm a looking for a big burrito because there's a spot in Oakland I go to and the burrito is like a footlong sandwich. But this was decent, I kinda wished the chicken was shredded and little more juicy but nonetheless it was still good enough to get my burrito crave out the way. My wife barissa plate with pork I believe, they were tacos but they tasted like it was grilled like a quesadilla which tasted better than my burrito. I would definitely come back check it out

Everything was below average. My pastor tacos were bland and the meat was like mush. My wife had carnitas tacos and the meat seemed boiled. My daughter had a steak super burrito and it was lacking flavor. I hate to write bad reviews about small family owned businesses but this place is a no go for me.

All rice, barely any meat when paid extra for 2 types in the burrito and also asked for extra sour cream. Burrito was dry dry

Driven past Tacos Tijuana a few times now and seen numerous good reviews so I gave them a try to. I ordered: * Quesabirra w/ consome - Really good. Crunchy and the consome was really good too. * Super burrito w/ half al pastor & half chicharron (no beans & extra sour cream) - Really thought it was going to be good because they toast the tortilla crunchy before rolling but my burrito was just full only rice. Super dry. Barely any meat (which I paid extra for the 2 types in my burrito) and no extra sour cream. It was lacking everything. Where was the pico? guac? EXTRA sour cream? Their hot sauces weren't good either. They both weren't spicy and tasted fermented. Great thing is they have parking, tables and the staff are super nice.

I'm not sure if this is the same truck that I went to a few years ago, (same location). When I went, the chicken tacos I got were not pleasant to say the least. Today, I went in to give it another change and got two quesabirra tacos with consome. The total was $13, which wasn't worth it to be honest. They were a decent size for myself, but the arrangement was just sloppy and dripping. The meat and consome itself was very stretchy for my liking and not very flavorful. My go to truck is up the street by grocery outlet, and they have a special for $10 (3 quessabirra tacos w/consome); definitely worth the price. Nobody was there when I arrived, and ordering was easy and wait was 6-7 minutes. After eating it, my body feels a little weird as if the food is weighing on my chest; don't know what's up with that. Overall, I will not be returning; much better options that are actually worth the price in Vallejo.

    Tacos & horchata

Muy delicioso! I had a taco flight of lengua, asada & carnitas. All of them were really good. But the standouts for me were the lengua & the carnitas. The lengua melted in my mouth like a piece of lusciously beefy jello (which sounded better in mind than it does reading it). And the carnitas had a pleasantly porky umami to it. Carne asada is a kind of a staple for me, but it's fast becoming one of the least interesting of tacos. Theirs is solid, but nothing like the lengua & carnitas. Be sure to order the horchata. It is awesome!

You'll find it at the ultimate Taqueria in Vallejo when you visit La Piñata Taqueria. I paid exactly $20 (after tax) for a ridiculously sized burrito that included EXTRA ASADA and some avocado, that as a whole, was nothing to laugh at. In 2026, this might be the ultimate deal you will come across without the requirement of a coupon. Parking is readily available, and you'll notice there's always people waiting for food: a sign the food is worth coming for. My food came with a small complimentary side of pickled carrots and peppers, some onions, two salsas, and a small bag of chips. This really truly is the best in Vallejo.

I used to come here after school exams for burritos and tacos. You can't go wrong with either, but I highly recommend the suadero, their rose meat. It is easily the best thing on the menu. The burritos used to be about 12 dollars and are now around 16, but the quality and portion still make it worth it. I recently came back after about a year and it tasted exactly the same. Their service is always quick despite the long line of people there. Their complimentary pickled onions, grilled onions, and carrots along with their homemade sauces really take the burritos and tacos to another level. They have added more seating so you can eat there fresh and hot. Parking is still tight with only a few spots nearby, but it is worth it for the food.

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. Between the two, I would certainly save my stomach space for tacos from Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño next time.

Parking is a little tricky because so many people pack into the tiny lot. Plenty of different meats to choose from if you're craving tacos. But they have plenty of alternatives if you aren't feeling like tacos. I ended up getting Al Pastor, Asada, and Suadero. Suadero was okay but the Al Pastor was amazing. I lived in San Diego and I've had a hard time finding good pastor since I moved back. Freshly sliced with slice of pineapple was perfect! They have all the fixings in bins with tongs for you to pack in sandwich bags they have available. Only thing is, it seems like kind of a roll of the dice from a food safety standpoint, but hey, "street" tacos aMiRiTe? Haha. Overall fast service, great tacos. Especially for the price of $4/taco. I'd give it five stars but had to knock it down for the food safety aspect.
