I'd like to start my review off by saying that I loved the experience I had at this restaurant. The…read morestaff were very quick, efficient, friendly, and helpful. The service was exceptional, it was quick when I came in, I saw it was a bit smaller, so, I expected a wait for a table, but I was walking around for maybe 5 minutes and got a call that my table was ready. I came back, the food came out quickly, I was with my mom and as soon as her water cup was empty, the server refilled the water quickly. This was a great dining experience, great atmosphere, exceptional staff. The only thing keeping me from placing my review at 5 stars is the quality of the food. While the flavors were excellent and the combination of ingredients were carefully selected, the preparation I feel may have been a bit lacking. Me and my mom came together on Sunday before a concert at the House Of Blues, shortly after we ate the food, our stomachs weren't feeling well, she's lactose intolerant and she got the creamy broth (She had the spicy Quartz with chicken and I had the Ruby with chicken and shrimp.), we just thought it was the broth for her and I just didn't think anything of it. We went about our day, we both had leftovers and took it home. It's Monday now, my stomach was fine earlier today, no issues. I decided to take my leftovers with me to work for lunch ( It was mostly broth with some noodles and chicken, I ate the shrimp when I originally got it), I went to reheat my leftovers, ate them, and shortly after I ate the leftovers, my stomach yet again didn't feel well. I did run to the bathroom a few times during my shift because my stomach was very upset after consuming it. My mom hadn't eaten her leftovers today, she had no stomach issues since eating the ramen on Sunday (She did throw her leftovers away after I told her that my stomach was upset after eating my leftovers), which leads me to believe that maybe the chicken in the ramen wasn't properly prepared for consumption. I would like to speak to a manager about this issue, but otherwise, I highly recommend this place as the food, service, and atmosphere are all very exceptional. Thank you for your time.

I didn't finish my bowl, but I was happy to have leftovers for later. We also ordered the chicken karaage appetizer, but it wasn't good. I wouldn't recommend ordering it. Restaurant quality just hasn't been the same, but that is not the case here. Over the years their team has continued to offer delicious food and a nice casual dining experience. The store is small and cozy, so not great for parties larger than 4, though I'd really just suggest 2. Great for lunch or a low key dinner, it is one of my go-to for ramen spots. I really love their white miso tsukemen, the thick noodles are slightly chilled and served with a wedge of lime which is a nice way to lighten the very rich broth. I've had their red miso before but its deeper flavor is a bit too powerful for my taste, so for those who like something with more umph, that's a great choice as well.

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon, and did have to wait about 20 minutes for tables to open up. Our group of 7 got split into two. Inside the shop is very cozy and has about 5 tables with a "bar" area for seating. I got the chashu red miso ramen, which was pretty good. The broth was very thick, and I enjoyed it. But it did taste overly salted to me. It was still good, but I would have water on the side when eating. All the toppings and meat were good as well. Customer service was good. They got our order while we were waiting for our table outside and the wait was not long once we sat down. Parking is tight in this little lot since it is shared with about 5 other shops. Not sure I'll be back, but if I do, I'll get something with lighter broth.

This is a great Asian spot near Disney that isn't Din Tai Fung…read more The employees are really nice. Service is quick. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. A restroom is available. Free parking in a small rear lot shared with Walgreens (it will look like you're pulling in to Hyatt parking). Mild noise level inside; can be noisy outside depending on how busy the adjacent road is. They have a good amount of food and drink options, from noodles and rice to dumplings and pig ears. Fountain drinks are self-serve, and they also offer canned and bottled drinks. The veggie dishes, fried rice, and noodles are delicious. I highly recommend the spicy wontons. Their dim sum options aren't the best I've ever had, but their other menu items make up for it. You order at the kiosk and pick up your food when your number is called (they sometimes bring it out to you if you're outside). Prices are on the higher side, so don't go here on a budget. Come later in the evening and eat outside if the weather permits! You'll get thinner crowds, good ambiance, and yummy food.

This spot used to be Luscious Dumplings (received a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2021), but the Chubby Group took over and rebranded it as Chubby Dumplings. [Parking]: Free parking in the rear and the parking spaces are shared with Hyatt House and Walgreens. [Amenity & service]: Small space with both indoor and few outdoor tables. A restroom is available. Our party waited approximately 20 minutes for the food even though the restaurant was only half full. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings, Braised Beef Noodle Soup, and Pan Fried Pork Dumplings. *** Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings (6 pieces - $13.50): The skin was a bit thicker than I had expected and the broth had an average flavor. Steamed Chicken & Corn Dumplings (6 pieces - $13.00): I should have read the menu more closely as these steamed dumplings contained corn and I certainly wasn't expecting this ingredient. They tasted alright. Shrimp with Pork Siu Mai (6 pieces - $12.50): Ironically this appetizer order was probably the best of the three, but damn hefty price tags for 6 small pieces of pork siu mai. *** 3-star for the food but bump down due to (1) the food took a long time to prepare (20+ minutes) despite this being a fast-casual restaurant and (2) the portions were small relative to the somewhat expensive prices. This is the most disappointing restaurant I have experienced out of all the restaurants I have visited that are part of the Chubby Group.
