We go here almost every week. We love their breakfast tacos. Sadly, every single time we come, we get poor service. On the weekends, we sit there waiting at least 30 mins for 4/6 tacos. It never fails us, where we wait with a room full up hungry people. Possibly it could be there's too many people? Wrong. We come during the evening too, when's there barely anyone there. Yesterday we called when I left the medical center, arrived to the Taco Flores, still had to wait 15 more minutes. It took 45 mins, for a BRC burrito and two street tacos. Was it fresh? No. They really need to learn how to prioritize because I know many people who complain about their waiting read more

Wait times are horrible. I called an order in for one breakfast burrito and an order of pancakes. They quoted me 40 minutes. I came an hour and 15 minutes later. It still wasn't ready. I ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes after arrival. Totally not worth the bad service read more

I have passed this place many times, never thought much of it. Finally stopped by today and I'm SO glad I did. I walked in and the employees were beyond welcoming. You can feel the warm atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Now the food.. I went for the breakfast tacos and omg. You can see the tortillas being made as soon as you walk in. You can definitely taste the freshness. They were SO fresh, the potato and egg were 10/10, salsa was amazing too! The tacos were very affordable too!! I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!! read more

Tacos Flores is decently-priced and pretty okay. The food is not always consistent if you get it to-go, and the wait times can be a bit much, but it's generally good food, and they are one of the only taco places nearby that serves horchata! read more

Well I decided to do DoorDash order and the hamburger meat was sooo dry and burned I threw it away. Talk about bad food. I totally do not recommend anyone get this. Save yourself the trouble and find an authentic Mexican place that actually will give you quality food. read more

Taco perfection? Pretty close to it. Taco Flores is a tiny little family owned place that has been around for awhile and started out as a trailer with an order window and some picnic tables out front. They have since expanded and now have a small section of indoor seating along with the patio. The place is cute and the people are great, but the food? Outstanding. This is as good as it gets in the Humble/Atascocita area. They make the flour and corn tortillas by hand and both are great, however I'm partial to the flour tortilla because they are some of the best I've ever had. The red and green salsas aren't bad either. Last time I went to visit the folks we ate there twice so I was able to try a variety. I had the beef fajita, pastor (pork), barbacoa, and chicken tacos and the small beef quesadilla. The pastor and the beef fajita tacos were my favorites and were literally perfection on a flour tortilla with chopped onion, cilantro, and avocado slices. I've never had a better pork taco in my life than at Taco Flores. I haven't tried the breakfast tacos but my dad swears by them and I can't imagine they are anything but amazing. If I had a taco place like this in Clear Lake I would eat here at least once a week. It's fresh, delicious, cheap ($1.75 for most tacos), and filling. read more

*FM 1960 in Humble Texas is on the northern edge of Houston near the Bush International Airport. It's like lot of suburb-rural (surural?) areas; stretched out and worn out. As your drive along you see signs like: Dirt Cheap Mulch and Chest and Medical Office - which makes one wonder if the chest part is connected to the medical part and if so how and if not why? Tacos Flores is on FM 1960 too. They have a wide assortment of tacos. I tried three: barbacoa, ground beef and pork with cilantro and onion. My dining companion had the sopa and said it was really good. Small, friendly and good value. Oh yeah - you can pick corn or flour tortilla. Always choose corn. The best unexpected thing - watching anoles on the porch stalk each other and posture for dominance... fighting lizards! *FM means Farm-to-Market and it's the equivalent of "State Road" which is the designation used everywhere in the known universe except Texas. read more

The best, I mean the BEST place to get breakfast tacos. After getting accustomed to poorly made tortillas (either full of lard or storebought), nothing quite beats biting into a taco made with a fresh home-made tortilla. It's just so good! I remember when this place used to just be a little taco stand. Now, they have their own building and a devoted following. Did I mention this place is very cheap as well?! If I had to make a criticism, it's that sometimes, it can take a while to get your order. However, when you think about it, they are making everything fresh once you order it, so it's worth it in the end. read more

I had the worst pasor tacos ever. everything was overcooked the pork was HORRIBLE and the tortillas were has hard has a frisbe. Taco Bell crushed them that's not saying much. the cook was either a rookie or just didn't give a damn about what he put out. What a disappointment. We ordered some cheese dip, and they threw cheese and chorizo in a bowl and microwaved it. By the time it brought it to the table it was a solid bowl of hard cheese. We also ordered fajita tacos and burritos and the meat tasted like it was a beef roast that was in a crock pot all day. read more

I ordered through uber eats, so I can't give the best opinion on service but I had an issue with my delivery which required me to call them. They forgot my drink, and the driver said they never gave it to her which in part is also her fault for not asking since the drivers can see your complete order and have to double check the order before leaving. (I used to work for them) When I called, the lady who answered was not helpful at all and didn't do anything about it. The driver had mentioned that I had to contact the restaurant so they can input it on their end for her to go back and redeliver it. When I tried doing that, the lady was super unhelpful. Didn't even know what to say. She said they don't even do deliveries or uber eats to which she then said they weren't taking uber eats orders today, so I said so then how did I receive the order i put through uber eats? She then said if I could call the driver and tell her to come back because she saw the said drink and I said I can't, the driver specifically said that they had to do it on their end. It was just very frustrating so I just did it on my end and marked it as missing for a credit. I wasn't about to spend so much time on it just for a drink. the food was pretty good although that situation ruined my mood i couldn't enjoy it as much. i got 2 fajita tacos and a TF sampler. the meat was very tender, super soft but not that flavorful, however with the onions and green salsa it gave it a better taste. my sampler came with a quesadilla, sopes and flautas. the flautas tasted like store bought taquitos. not bad but for an "authentic mexican" restaurant i expected it to be more flavorful. the sopes were good as well, as i said the meat was super soft and i loved their hand made tortillas. it melted in your mouth, but i just wish there was more flavor/seasoning. lastly, the quesadilla. it was okay, not the best in the world but if you're looking for just a good standard quesadilla this is the place. i would come back and give them a second chance in person. i thought the food was pretty good, felt home cooked but not super authentic. last thing was the pricing - i paid about $23 with tip plus an extra $3 they charged me for who knows what but after my refund i probably paid about $17 for just 2 tacos and that sampler. again, uber eats may raise prices a bit but even so i think thats a bit too much. it may be different in person! read more

I had some friends from Florida visiting. I didn't have everything I wanted to make breakfast. So Today I ordered 10 breakfast tacos. I ordered them before they opened so I should get them by 8:00 am. Sure enough I get my order about 8:05 and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. We always get enough hot sauce, extra tortillas, napkins and other things. I have ordered here about ten times in the last 3 months and it's always the same. Hot food! Correct order! Never a mistake. Great spot to grab a quick bite for breakfast. Tacos are always hot and fresh. The selection of tacos isn't quite as vast as Titas Taco House but the tacos are just as good. Been here a few times and I prefer the Mexican Taco with Potatoes added. The Chicken Fajita Taco is also good. It's located right off FM 1960 and the location is cool because it is nestled off the road in between trees and greenery. When the weather is nice the outside patio is great to enjoy. Overall it is quality food served hot in a nice atmosphere. read more

This place also had great barbacoa tacos with absolutely no fat pieces (which other places dont bother to take out). The corn tortilla wad homemade I think and was thicker. It was delish! I wish it wasn't so far from where i live but I will come by when I can. Really, really good food. read more

Established in 2003.

We are a family owned business that started with a mobil trailer in 2003. We used the mobil trailer for for about 3 years. After the 3rd year we started construction on a free standing building with 3 tables, a outdoor patio and a parking lot. After 8 months we could see the need for more inside tables so we inclosed the outside patio to make our dining room bigger. We also had a wood deck patio built in front of the building. It is a business that was started with a lot of pride and great food, it tradition still holds strong for us. We plan to keep making great food for our wonderful customers.

I drive past this location on 1960 E at least once a week for that past 6 months and have never gave it two thoughts. Yelp reviews led me to this place and I'm glad it did. The barbacoa taco is perfecto and the beef enchiladas were great too. This place it amazing. If you're about the food at a fair price, give this place a try. Today I had the worst experience with any restaurant I e ever been to. I ordered 2 chicken tacos to go and the chicken on the tacos was hard yellow on one side. I will never eat here again and everyone who ever ask me about there food and quality I will say the same. Serving food like that can get people sick they should be closed down. Street tacos are gross, tasted like greasy hamburger meat not even taco seasoning. The instant regret makes me never want to try new places again I'm so disappointed! They put your to go hot sauce in little tiny plastic bags that were impossible to open this is never seen before and definitely not enjoyable experience. Will not recommend. Their flour tortilla is the choice here, and I believe it is Sonoran style: good enough to just eat by itself. My absolute favorite was the barbacoa ($3.25), very tender stewed beef with added onion and cilantro...not meant to be a breakfast taco I think. The other 3 tacos I tried did have egg. The potato & egg ($3.25) had big chunks of potato and plenty of egg: very filling not particularly tasty. The chorizo and egg ($3.25) was was prepared together, with the small chorizo pieces mixed in with the egg. And the fajita and egg ($4.79) used two slices of skirt steak flavored with fajita flavoring...for my preference, works better in skillet fajitas than in a breakfast taco. They also have menudo on the weekends, and both their corn and flour tortillas are homemade. As mentioned before, the flour tortillas are really good, and the barbacoa is definitely worth a visit.
