Huge margaritas and lots of variety! I had the mango margarita. Our server Armando was very nice. We had the combinations with tacos Al carbon which were excellent and enchiladas

WOW! What a hidden gem! Authentic, plentiful, and delicious! Stopped in about 730 and had fast service, great food, and an awesome Cadillac margarita!

Came for takeout on a Friday evening. The food is always consistent and tasty. The tacos (whichever you choose) come four to an order and are a huge portion. I like the tacos alambre, which comes with steak ham, bacon , melted cheese , grilled peppers and onions as well as guacamole and sour cream. The chips are crunchy and well salted and come with an assortment of fresh salsas. The chicharron appetizer is plenty to feed four people and comes with a choice of tostadas, corn or flour tortillas.

Went down the street to Los Carbonicitos last night, so much better than Tacos Jalisco. Don't waste your time here when they charge you for chips... a joke of its former self.

We've dined in and have done takeout - both times the fish and shrimp tacos were on point. Why the 2 stars? No drink prices on the drink menu and immediately I thought it was shady. We ordered 3 house margaritas (regular) thinking it would be normal non HH price right? Nope! Got the bill and it was $15.50 each. Are you kidding?? Sure they come in a large glass but it was 80 percent ice! I even mentioned to my fiancé that the margarita could use more tequila! There was absolutely nothing special about this drink for them to justify the price. Service was slow- the waitress who came over to take our order took a while, food took a while to come out. All in all, don't order the margaritas or at least confirm the price. I think it's shady they don't list any prices on the menu so they can charge however much they want. I also tried to use the Yelp check in offer but they refused. Word of advice- if you don't accept Yelp offer then remove it so it's not an option. Otherwise, honor it.

I've been wanting to try Tacos Jalisco ever since Chris Parente said he went here with his hubby I think last Cinco de Mayo lol. We decided to order takeout this cinco and enjoy a meal at home with the baby instead of fighting the madness with an infant. My husband concurred it was a zoo in there for the holiday so I'm glad we chose to relax instead. The food was good; I got a marinated pork and it was very flavorful. There were some fatty chunks but I gave those to the cat lol My hubby enjoyed his combination plate. The chips and salsa were also very good. Love when a place has good salsa. Would come back for sure

Combo plate 5 and a house marg that was delicious!

This place fills up 60 days in advance, without fail! When we arrived, we were able to get parking about a block away on the street. We were soon greeted and guided to our seats upon walking in. This is a very small restaurant - only a few tables, not many options for big groups, and some bar seating both inside and outside. I can see why the reservations are in such high demand! We were recommended to get 4-5 small plates, so we decided on the Guacamole Alma, Burrito de Frijoles Puerco, Apache en su Jugo, and Enmolada de Pato. We also shared the hibiscus margarita and Mex 75. The drinks came out first - the hibiscus margarita was so refreshing, light and delicious! We weren't as big fans of the Mex 75 - but if you like smoky drinks this is the one for you. The guacamole came out first - it was tangy and tasty. I will say that the other dishes were a lot more unique. The burrito was a standout - we absolutely loved the homemade sourdough tortilla, one of the best we've ever tasted. The chorizo filling was savory and tasty. The Apache en su Jugo was unique and had a lovely flavor - if you are a beef tartare fan this is a wonderful dish to try! The enmolado de pato came out last and we thoroughly enjoyed the mole and flavor. This is definitely worth checking out. I will say as a Houston native we have several restaurants with similar flavors and slightly lower price tags and wait times, so I am a bit spoiled in that regard. But all in all the service is wonderful, it's a pleasure to try so many different and unique dishes, and the joy of snagging a reservation is worth it!

Place is cozy, right on the corner, very natural earthy interior design, makes it feel like vacation and very different from rest of Denver vibe. Foods are beyond just tasteful, feels like a whole experience with every bite. You typically need 4 to 5 plates for a party of two, each plate is elegantly designed and crafted. It comes out as a pure perfection, the house cocktails are unique above all is the avocado margarita, which is one of the exotic cocktails of all. Staff are extremely professional, not too friendly, not too cold, just the right amount of politeness to make one comfortable. For my fellow Denver folks, you have to visit this place to experience contemporary Mexican dishes, which, by the way, most of them taste more towards a comfortable level of spicy.

Looking at taco places, I went with something close by to our location and found this hidden gem. Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. This plate came we asked it with the guacamole option instead of fresh avocado. The carne asada was just FULL of flavor and the fresh avocado slices with green tomatillo salsa SLAPPED.. the tortillas are super soft and tears from how fresh the flour tortillas were!! Definitely a place to sit and eat there to enjoy the hot food. I'm originally from SoCal and a heavily populated Latinos with amazing tacos and food.. Taqueria La Familia passed the bar high!! We can't wait to come back and try other options and will update pictures and review then!

The food was delicious! We got $2 chips and salsa off the happy hour menu and the queso con soyrizo (not on HH menu) which was served with warm tortillas. Honestly we probably didn't need all that because the tacos were so good I could've just filled up on more of the tacos, but still was a great meal! I ordered the lengua, pastor, and taco special (breaded shrimp). They were all so good. Think taco quality of a good street taco spot but with the ambiance of a cute tex mex bar.
