I would say this taco truck place is one of the best place in Buena Park, I often visited to get tripa tacos and burrito. The reason I gave three star is bc the service they provided. I uasally used text massage to order my food just bc I hate waited in line. But everytime I order food even if I order through the phone I need to wait in the line, if I order busy time I need to wait at least 30 mins just to get to the front. Which means, if a customer did walk in order they need to wait extra 15 to 20 mins to get their food. Also, I dont know if anyone relized the size got reduced and they sometimes don't want to give you the sauces. The food is still really good but it just made me to go to different place just because of service got changed. read more

Craved tacos and I've been passing this Taco Truck for so long, so I decided to send my husband to get me some. It was good so good and tasty, and affordable too. The best thing was it was free. I do not like to be that person to leave these kind of reviews but the service was terrible. Not only that, but the wait was over one hour. There was 2 small groups ahead of us. We ordered 8 tacos and one mula and only received 7 tacos and the mula. Seven tacos for an hour wait? They didn't even say, "sorry about the wait" nor "Thank you for waiting." I have been driving by for a couple months and saw that it was getting busier. I normally do not eat off of a trailer but I couldn't wait to try it. Tonight was finally the night and I was so excited after reading the reviews. We ordered 2 carnie, 2 chicken, 2 pastor, and 1 tripe tacos and three mulitas. The tripe was a 5 star and the rest of the meat was a 3 star. The portions were very small. The tacos are now $1.50 each. The mulitas were $2.00 each and a better value. The green creamy sauce is hot but good, the other green sauce is great, the red sauce is just okay. My total should have been $16.50 but the guy charged me $17.00. No big deal. read more

Whether you come at their opening or late at night there's going to be a line so plan for that. However, that line is well deserved. The tacos are great, the mulitas are great, and the red sauce has a really nice kick. Tacos aren't too big but the prices are very reasonable and the food great. Tacos Maggie used to be 5 stars but the quality and service have gone down substantially! Their asada and mulitas are not the same, seems they've gone with lower quality ingredients. Which in my opinion should be the last thing you cut back on as a food business.. Inflation I get it, but their prices are already on the higher end for a food truck. My favorite are the tacos de tripa (crispy) but the last couple of times they have not had any. They're also a little stingy with the rábanos and cucumber. The food is good, the carne asada is great, the al pastor kinda sucks, the tortilla they use for the tacos is very good, what they use for the burrito is basic. I prefer more onions and cilantro but that should change after safety protocol is over and we can self serve our toppings. They changed the recipe for the red and green salsa, the older salsas were really good and very spicy, the new salsas are less hot and more watered down but still tasty. I tried the carne asada + pastor tacos, carne asada burrito (for next day's lunch) and a carne asada quesadilla. Wow, ALL SO GOOD. The red sauce here is almost like King Taco's red sauce. I went to get Tacos on last Friday, my total was $25.25 and she clearly said this amount as well who got my order. And today I checked my bank account and was charged $28.09, it seems %11.25 added for something. I am happy to give them a tip but not the unknown extra charges without any prior notice. I always love their tacos and they never charged extra. The tax rates are %7.75 in their area, what is %11.25 for? They are really good and there is always a wait, super rare when there is not. The only thing I complain about is that I place is that they had told me that It would take 25-30 min. I decided to wait but they gave the food to a group that came after me. I had my toddler in the car and it was just not ok for them to not follow orders the way they come in. My family and I drove all the way from Las Vegas to try some of the best foods in this area and this place is by far the worst. The customer service here was by far the worst I have ever seen in my 42 years of living. My family and I, along with others, were waiting for at least 10 minutes at the cashier window hoping the cashier lady would notice us, however the cashier lady completely ignored the line and proceeded to joke around with her co workers. When we finally got the courage to ask the lady, she trudged to the window and took our order with the most rudest attitude. Despite that, we ordered and finally got our food after a good 40 minutes when we didn't order much and there was only a few online orders ahead of us. From this, I really felt that the kitchen was inefficient and inconsiderate of their customers waiting. Now regarding the food; when we first got the order, we immediately noticed that they had gotten our order incorrect. My son had clearly ordered al pastors but got all carne asadas instead. Although we were already in a frustrated mood, my wife calmly explained to the cashier lady that our order was wrong, however she aggressively grabbed the order back without saying a single word or apology. Overall, the food wasn't bad but definitely not good. This place is not worth the wait and definitely not worth dealing with the cashier lady. I don't get what people like about this truck? since it was my first time and was excited about all the reviews about flavor I decided to try a few tacos (asada,pastor,tripa,Cabeza and lengua) oh where should I start lol, Asada is chopped very fine to hide the low quality of the meat and they add extra seasoning to hide the cheap quality, pastor is just adobada meat not good at all, tripa is decent but nothing too impressive, Cabeza and Lengua were dry and bland , they only way you can get any taste out of those meats is by adding extra spicy salsa lol, so if you are looking for a good taco spot this is NOT the place, you are better driving a lil bit to tacos Los Gueros in Anaheim, way better flavor and you will spend half the money. read more

I ordered 4 carne asada street tacos and 1 coke. I waited for 47 minutes on a Thursday before I asked for a refund. Don't waste your time here. I have been here multiple times and this place is nothing special compared to what else is around. Unfortunately the customer service is only getting worse, especially if you aren't Spanish speaking "which I am". Trash filled parking lot with people drinking and peeing everywhere... Jackpot! I found a taco truck near to my home and that was worth trying! First of all there are two taco trucks close to each other...this one is the white taco truck whereas the other one down the street is black. I arrived about fifteen minutes after they opened and there was already a crowd. I ordered tacos de tripa, asada, and pastor - my favorite were the tripa and pastor. They have a green guacamole, green salsa, and red salsa. The young man who took my order and charged me may have calculated my order wrong. He didn't use a calculator and since he clearly takes the orders I assumed he knew his math. I decided to do the math using the calculator on my phone and I believe he overcharged me by $1. I didn't bother to say anything or ask, but I'll double check next time before I pay. Anyhow they are parked next to a parking lot, so there's plenty of parking. read more

Finally tried this place because of the good reviews and I don't know how they even have any good reviews. I ordered 3 burritos and 1 taco total came out to 27.50, handed the girl my debit card she didn't say anything about any extra charges to use my debit card and didn't hand me a receipt. So I checked my account and she charged me $2.00 extra I'm assuming it's because I used a debit card. $2 to use a debit card is quite excessive and the girl didn't even inform of the extra charge which is what annoys me the most. Got the burritos and they are the skinniest burritos I've ever seen and the taste is bland as hell. I ordered 1 lengua taco and that shit was dry as hell too. I also asked for salsa verde and got zero salsa verde she gave me red salsa instead (which by the way I never eat red salsa). Save your money and go elsewhere food is not good here at all. Food-wise, it's one of the better taco joints in the area, BUT after today's ridiculously long wait, I don't think we'll be back....ever. It's just not worth it. We got here before the dinner rush and ordered some tripa and carne asada. They warned that the tripa would take 20-minutes. Okay, we thought. 20-minutes isn't so bad; we've gotten tripa here multiple times, and it usually doesn't take too long..... 20-minutes pass by, nothing. 30-minutes pass, I make eye contact with the main guy and motion to my watch; he says, "it's cooking." My hangry wife decides to wait in the car at this point. 40-minutes pass, I talk to the lady cashier who asks the main guy, and he gives the same answer. Meanwhile, 10 numbers after ours have been called during our wait. Wtf! How slow are they moving?? And we've cooked tripa before; it does NOT take this long. 50-minutes pass, and we're pissed and giving the stink eye. The main guy keeps saying, "almost". We're about ready to just get a refund and leave, but then the lady cashier asks us what sides we want and gives us our food. I tell her it's been an hour, and she says frivolously, "Sorry, it's the tripa," not really seeming apologetic at all with no offer to make up for the extra 40-minutes wasted. If it's gonna take an hour, don't lie to me and say it'll take twenty minutes. Had we known, we could've ordered something else and not wasted an hour. I used to recommend this place to friends, but not anymore! For the wait time, it's just not worth it. On top of that, my carne asada burrito today was salty.
