I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. *** if youre planning to order ahead/cater from here, DONT.*** i just had the worst experience ive ever had with a food place. This place has terrible customer service. I had a pick up order set and confirmed via text a couple of days in advance. I arrived 10-15 minutes prior to my confirmed pick up time AND attempted to call them in advance to make sure the order was ready to go. When i arrived, i knocked on the door but then this lady worker shut the door and said "one moment!" and waved her hand at me to stop talking. I waited patiently for another 5 minutes, surpassing my confirmed pick up time. When the food truck doors opened, i approached the pay window but she blew me off and waved the person behind me in line to come up and order. I was shocked at this rude worker. The guy in line behind me also questioned why she didnt even address me. I asked her about the order and she just said "no no, no more" as if she didnt understand basic English. Another worker stepped in and said that their boss did not inform them of this order. Very unprofessional and very disappointed. I will never come back again. read more

This place was so horrible today on Good Friday. Came when they were opening and they had nothing prepared and opened late. My friend and I ordered a carne asada burrito and they didn't have any rice when they just opened.. They clearly don't do any prep work before they open. Also my friend ordered a carne asada burrito with no beans, and they literally just gave her a meat burrito. No onions and no cilantro. When asked about her burrito, they just gave some onions and cilantro on a paper plate and didn't even bother to make a new one or us or at the very least put the onions and cilantro in the burrito and rewrap it. It was ridiculous how poorly the food tasted and how they accommodated. I'm going on a whim by saying that this place must be inconsistent because the ratings doesn't justify my experience today. Avoid this place if you don't want crappy food and horrible customer service. read more

By far one of the BEST taco trucks ever. In fact, it has beat local joints (restaurants) too. I come down all the way from Santa Ana (home of taco trucks) and I am never disappointed here. I would rather drive to Tacos Maggie than go to any other local taco truck here in SA. I've also gone to good restaurants and ordered tacos, but they are not like these bomb ass tacos from Maggie's. Great customer service, bomb food, amazing salsas and other condiments too. I've seen cops and firefighters pull up just for the tacos. The lady constantly gets "plain" tacos incorrect (this has happened to me & my mom beforehand) Usually we don't have an issue but this time around the Lady taking the order was mad and said we have to check our order beforehand & told my mom she has to come in a better mood even though she wasn't mad that we had to drive back and wait...again. One of best street taco locations in SoCal! This truck is so good, the local police and fire departments visit regularly for grub while on duty. This location usually has a long line, so be sure to order everything all in one go. The staff is always courteous and direct, and the taqueros consistently produce quality tacos, mulitas, and quesadillas. Although their prices have recently increased slightly - now averaging to the typical cost of taco truck food - the portions have remained large, the tortillas have consistently been crispy, the meat portions have always been generous, the food is never saturated in grease, and their salsa roja continues to be the hottest and best around for soft tacos. One bite of one of their tacos is just so satisfying, you can never be disappointed here. read more

This probably the best taco truck I've ever been to, actually, it might be up there with the best tacos I've had anywhere. Although as a genre, Korean food is my favorite, tacos are my single most favorite food. If I had to eat one thing for the rest of my life, it'd be a good taco. I've had all of the cuts of meat here aside from the chicken and chorizo, which I'll be trying next time we go. The only meat that I didn't find too great was the lengua. Although tender, it was bland. There's only one or two places where I find the lengua great, but this place wasn't one of them. Everybody is raving about the tripa for good reason. It's absolutely exceptional, if you're into that kinda thing anyway. I know it's not for everyone, but it's delicious here. It's crunchy, slightly chewy, and retains that tripa flavor. The al pastor is excellent as well. I've found there's a lot of variance in the styles of al pastor. While this place isn't my favorite style of al pastor, it's still great. Very tender, not too fatty, and has a great marinade. Carne asada is something I never order when I eat tacos, but I've had it here. It's nice and tender, which some places just don't get right. The flavor is also good. The reason I don't order this cut in most places is because they don't season it well or it's chewy. Maggie does it right. I've never had cecina tacos before we stopped by here. It's delicious as well, don't let the flat cut fool you, it's a good amount of meat. The 3 times I've had it, it's been consistently flavored and tender. If you like a slightly crunchy taco with cheese, the mulitas will satisfy you. Absolutely delicious. My wife always orders it with either al pastor or carne asada. The pickled onions and sauces are exceptional as well. The red will get you crying if you're not careful. There's a line before this place even opens for good reason. If this place was closer to my house, I think I'd be in line 3 times a week at least. read more

This is one of the best taco trucks I've ever had and I grew up in LA County where we're surrounded by taco trucks at every corner. They meat is amazing quality and the red salsa is fire! And I mean that literally and figuratively lol their salsa bar has radishes, cucumbers, carrots, and two types of salsa. The burritos are perfect and can feed two people, but you'll want it all to yourself! They're THAT good. They take card for a small fee. This place is opened until 1am !!! I'm glad it is because last night I was craving some tacos with some spicy salsa and the usual place I go to closes so early. When I searched and this taco truck was the first one to appear, I had to try it. Plus it had awesome reviews and they also accept cards! They also had cucumber slices which I've never seen before, it was definitely good with the Chile and limón. I also tried the onion curtido and it was bomb!! Didn't want to write this review I really didn't but they lost their touch with what seems like "portion control" I got a burrito they used to packem good I paid 7 dollars for one and I got 70 percent rice 15 beans and 15 meat now the issues more like they portioning was drastically reduced. I won't return if they are gunna continue this I always tip too. The tacos are fine packed they raised the prices on them but they remain the same. Quality of the food is great too so I won't knock em with that but the increase in price and reduced portions is unacceptable honestly. read more
