Let me just include myself with all of the other people in the five star category. My brother decides to look up Late Night Munchies on Yelp. This is one of the places that came up. We couldn't believe that 99.9% of the people had given a taco truck a five-star review. We wanted to see what all the hype was about. Man, we do not regret it one bit. We went close to midnight and the line was long. We tried the tacos and mulitos. Great food at great prices! Who can ask for more. I swear......an hour later we were craving more. This is a good in taste taco place but lately it has been very sloppy and sooooo unorganized. They started "call in orders" but pick up times are not accurate and seems that it has made things worse. My family did a phone order today and was told 25 minutes, went in 25 minutes, lady that is in the window that takes orders states that none of the phone orders are ready, had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes. Then we get home and our last order was missing. We contacted the lady to explain the order was missing and she doesn't even think of it being a possible mistake but tells us that she counted everything and it was all there! Mind you when we we're waiting a man left mad bc he was tiered of waiting for his order!!!! And another young guy told them that their service was not organized and needed to get better. So, after telling the lady we were missing tacos, not once did the lady think that their sloppy service or unorganized service could of been a reason that maybe, just maybe might have slipped up?? We honestly just wanted what we paid for were not trying to "come up" on tacos like she insinuated by saying that it was counted so it's all there. We were honestly disappointed and can say that this will be our last time there. We never the less wish the best in their business but hope that they realize just bc the clientele is good you can just diss customers bc you think it does not effect the business... YET. This place is always packed. There's about 3-4 people working in the truck. The wait time as of now, 8/19/2020 , is about an HOUR. Even if you order 3 little tacos. Their tacos (for me) are a little too expensive (around $2 each). Personally, I don't like the carne asada tacos. It's really hard to find a place where they have non chewy carne asada and these are just like that. The chicken tacos are good, and so are their salsas. The tripas are what the people come here for. For me, this place is definitely not worth the drive, the money, nor the wait. You're better off going to East LA and stoping by any food truck or taco stand there. They're mediocre at best. I'll start off by saying the food isn't bad. I would stay coming back for their spicy (yellow/green) sauce. The reason I'm leaving one star is, as many others have noted, the wait time. I have been coming to tacos Maggie truck since they parked by the bank and before the truck remodel over 2 years. That being said I loved their food. However, the time management is COMPLETE TRASH. I went today and ordered ONE burrito. It took them an HOUR to make my ONE burrito. I used to deal with lines but this was a weekday (not a weekend) their times make no sense. They can't even provide an estimate wait. It got so bad that a number of people waiting started asking for refunds. One guy complained and they made his food before 8 people who came before him and keep in mind this man only waited 20 minutes and I was already at 50 minutes at this point. They definitely need to reevaluate this. Anyway .. don't come here expecting to wait LESS than 45 minutes. The food is good but not worth the rise in price or wait they put you through. read more

Went here for the first time last week, they are kinda hidden but that's okey, I got 6 tacos 2 of each the total came to $7 and some change, I payed with my card, no receipt was given to me, it wasn't until the next day when I was checking my bank statement that I saw they overcharged ($13) to be exact. So if you are paying with card I suggest you ask for your receipt.. but overall the tacos were AMAZING and I will go there again but this time with cash or ask for a receipt lol. read more
