This restaurant in Larchmont Village exceeded all of my expectations!…read moreFrom the moment we walked in, I fell in love with the beautiful interior. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and inviting. As each dish arrived at our table, we couldn't help but admire the presentation. It was absolutely stunning. We ordered the shrimp pasta, mushroom pizza, avocado dip, and banana bread, and every single dish was delicious. The flavors were fresh, well balanced, and beautifully executed. You can truly tell they put great care into both the food and the presentation. The service was just as impressive. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to. If you're in Larchmont Village and looking for great food, beautiful presentation, and exceptional service, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!

I enjoyed my matcha latte (with oat milk!) and the banana bread is a generous portion. Having come here in the morning, I like the coziness, but the seats are close together and I know during lunch/dinner the noise level is much louder.

You definitely get your money's worth, and it's easy to see why this place is so popular. Whether you're craving something sweet or savory, it's hard to go wrong here. The quality of the food alone makes it a place I'd come back to. The ambience was lively and energetic, creating a fun brunch atmosphere. The restaurant had a constant buzz from how busy it was, making it feel like a popular local spot. While it could get a little loud during peak hours, the vibrant environment added to the overall experience and made it feel like a place people genuinely enjoy visiting. The service, however, was the biggest downside of our visit. While the restaurant was busy, the staff didn't seem very attentive or welcoming. It took a while to get checked on, and it often felt like we had to flag someone down when we needed something. The overall service felt rushed and a bit unorganized, which didn't match the quality of the food. Overall, I'd still recommend The Griddle Cafe because the food was outstanding and easily deserves a 5/5. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and if the service becomes more consistent, this would easily be one of my favorite brunch spots.

My french toast was dry and the bacon was hard and rubbery. The bathrooms were gross. Its dark inside, other than near the windows. My server was pretty bad. I waited awhile to be seated. No one came to the hostess desk even though they saw me standing and waiting before they seated the people before me. Then my server never came. The wait staff saw me just sitting there w my menu for more than 20 min. I had to flag over a server in black, she mustve passed my table 7x, and she politely informed me she is not my server, my server is wearing red. Then i had to flag over my hostess and she said she would get my server. Then she came back and said my server is "caught up" and ended up taking my order and serving ke my drink. When my server in red finally came, there were no apologies or introductions, just, "do u need anything else?" I realized she was the server that took the order for the table that came 15 min after i was seated :/. Then i asked for my to-go box which she never ended up bringing. I had to flag down another server in black and ask again. But the "server in red" seemed awfully efficient and speedy when it came to bringing my check and getting her tip. And then a big white truck w an older mexican man honked me out of the stratosphere bc i made a left out of the parking lot while he felt i should make a right like him. I speak spanish and serve the hispanic community daily. The kindness was not reciprocated at this joint. Either that or they dont like people who wear blue shirts.

She specifically said she was looking forward to that feeling of the milkshake and then the extra that frosts up the cold metal blender cup and never all fits in one glass that they serve on the side. So we sit at the counter and we watched the guy make the milkshake, and he very proudly serves us the glass, and then we watch him go and pour the remainder from the metal cup into another smaller glass and disappear with it into the kitchen, presumably to drink himself. This is a $9 milkshake, and we only got about 2/3 of the container. I was disappointed and annoyed, but then this happened: a totally different server came over and said hey, it's late, and we have some loaves of bread left. Do you wanna take a loaf? Take your pick of type. So we left the place holding a beautiful loaf of seeded sourdough bread. So .... would I recommend this place? It's a tossup. Nine dollars is a lot for half a milkshake. But they know their way around a loaf of sourdough..
