Taqueria Milagro was recommended to us by our neighbor. Upon approaching the establishment, my husband and I realized that this used to be one of the Tlaquepaques. We haven't been to this location in a while and had no idea that it was under new ownership. We arrived at the restaurant around 6pm on a Sunday. There were several guests dining in, but we had no problem being seated. Loved how colorful and decorative it was inside. Way to celebrate Mexican heritage! Customer service was pretty good. Wait staff came to check up on us often, and our food came out shortly after we ordered. I felt that the food at Taqueria Milagro lived up to my neighbor's hype. The chips and salsa were solid. My husband got a carne asada street taco, and I got the shrimp street taco to whet our appetite. We also shared their mix fajitas, which came with juicy chicken, plump shrimp, and steak. Everything was flavorful and tender. I will certainly be back again to try other items off their menu.

Taco the Town Locally-owned Mexican restaurant that took over (±4yrs ago) the OG Tlaquepaque (aka "Masters of the Mexican Munchies" [IYKYK]), which had been in operation here for over thirty years. The Good: *Covered outdoor parklet that I'm assuming is dog-friendly *Great staff *Full-bar with beers on-tap *Complimentary chip and salsa :) *Interior is bigger than it looks from the outside. *Blueberry-Jalapeño Margarita was delicious. You could definitely taste the Blueberries, and the spice and flavor of the Jalapeños was on-point. It also had a nice kick from the tequila, so that's always a bonus. *Very reasonable pricing, especially for a sit-down restaurants *Love the décor *Tacos were delicious and seasoned expertly. I don't think their tortillas are handmade, but they're definitely a higher caliber than your typical grocery store tortilla. The Meh: *Parking is very limited with just a few shared spots out front. There is some (free) street parking, as well. *Menu isn't terribly exciting, but it should have all your Mexi favorites on it. *They need a better hot sauce selection. I'm not sure why they have Tabasco. But not Tapatío or Cholulua?? The Ugly: *I'm not sure why Yelp just changed the name of the business and allowed them to keep the old reviews from the OG Tlaquepaque. They should've got a reset and would probably have a higher Yelp rating, but whatever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Conclusion: Tasty Mexican food with great service.

Don't judge a book by its cover. I work very close to this restaurant and several months ago, I was brought here to celebrate my birthday for lunch. I was impressed. The street tacos are on point. Both the carnitas and Al pastor are excellent. Their homemade tortilla chips are delicious and fantastic guacamole. Their churros are very good as well. The service is friendly and interior is very festive. It's a lot bigger than you would think! I finally brought John here the other night for dinner and he enjoyed it as well. We'll be back!

Talk about AUTHENTIC, it is!!! We tried their street tacos chicken, pastor and carnitas and they were very delicious l, did not disappoint . Refills on chips and salsa, chips were warm and taste homemade, same with salsa. Love the roomy restaurant and their outdoor covered patio. Service with a smile. I highly recommend make the drive to this cute place. Minimal parking.

This place is on Lincoln just past the Curtner intersection. It's a casual place that has a large menu including alcoholic drinks. The complementary chips were very hard and, unfortunately, cold, so I did not eat them. I had the "choose your own" combo with 3 items, cheese enchilada, chili rellenos, and a chicken super soft taco. Everything was good. I think it was odd that the super taco did not come with sour cream, but in any case I ordered some on the side. My husband had a milanesa steak torta. It was huge, and came with thin, crispy French fries. He enjoyed it and could only finish half. The service was excellent. The only reason they did not get 5 stars was the Fox News Channel on the television, which ruined the atmosphere.

Second time here and I'm pretty sure I've found my new go-to Mexican spot. The first time I had the chile relleno with rice and beans and it was amazing. Last night my daughter Jennifer and I went back and I tried the street tacos with rice and beans... just as good! It's a small place with a great atmosphere and really friendly service. The kind of place that feels relaxed and welcoming the minute you walk in. And the Cadillac margarita? Let's just say it was delicious and the size of it made me laugh when they set it down. If you're looking for really good Mexican food in a fun little spot, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Came in on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. We were greeted and seated promptly. The waitress was polite and efficient. Our food came out quickly and was nicely presented. Prices were average for the area. The restaurant was nicely decorated with tradicional Mexican decor and plates.

Chicken enmoladas. Enchiladas with mole sauce. Good so far. Plus house margaritas.

I ordered my food through the Yelp app. I ordered 4 Asada Street Tacos, for pick up. They were ready when I arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The location looks a bit small from the out side (likely because the parking situation isn't so good at the front of the store. But other wise the experience was amazing. Thank you!!

First time coming to Milagros and it was on my Yelp bucket list for places to try. Walking in the night was slow and many of the tables were empty so we got seated very quickly and got our order taken fairly quickly too. I'll be honest the ambiance was very slow and chill. Open the menu and it had a happy hour menu, so I ordered off the happy hour menu only to find out that happy hour was over. My suggestion don't put the happy hour menu in the menu. FOOD Started off with chips and salsa and the salsa was pretty good. It had a kick to it. I like that the chips were the thick chips and not the ones that break when you try to pull some salsa out of the bowl. Guacamole in my opinion was a small portion for over nine dollars but it was pretty good and creamy but a little heavy on the lemon and It just needed a dash of salt and some heat. Chicken Floutas were good, rice was a bit dry but not totally bad, beans were good and creamy. Overall this entrée. was ok. Carne Asada with shrimp entrée was OK. Asada needed a dash of salt but the shrimp were very tasty. Always love grilled onions with our food and they complemented the dish well. Service was ok

I would suggest that the serve mention that when taking orders so we know. Just because it's at the very bottom of the menu I didn't notice it until I asked for a dessert menu. The food was so good! We had Mexican jambalaya, Carne asada plate, tacos Dorado, enchiladas with both sauces, parillada, enfrioladas (bean enchiladas) tacos de pescado, Don julio flight, multiple drinks and churros. The churros were really good although we wish there was a non filled ones too and to have the optionof if we wanted it dressed up because churros are already super sweet with the cinnamonand sugar dusted but caramel and whip cream was added along with a strawberry filling. We also ordered a tres leches cake but we didn't like the tres leches cake, it was too sweet, so sweet that we couldn't taste the filling which we assume was pineapple lol the color was yellow with pieces of fruit but we couldn't taste it. Overall the service was great and quick. I would definitely come back here.

There was only one server working and she was really hustling to meet everyone's needs. Plus, she was friendly. I had the carne asada burrito, it was good but nothing over the top that made it stand out. My friend had enchiladas with mole. We were most excited about dessert and decided to share the churros and Tres leches. It was a nice touch that the churros and Tres leches did not come plain, a little pizzazz since they were both served with berries, whipped cream, and a cajeta style sauce. Both of the desserts were so good and a perfect touch of sweetness.

They charged us for an adult Chicken and Waffles even though we sent it back and got the correct kids' portion I originally ordered. They also charged us for TWO molcajetes when only ONE came out. The check went from $265 to $200 after we caught everything. 1000000% they were hoping we wouldn't notice. I could believe it was an honest mistake if two molcajetes had come out, but they didn't. Since gratuity was already included, it really makes me wonder how many people have overpaid without realizing it. We came in with a group of 6. Everything was okay at first. We ordered chips with salsa and beans, and the beans were delicious, so we ordered a second round. At most restaurants, chips and salsa are free, so we assumed the same here. Unfortunately, we were never told the second round wasn't free, or that only one refill was included, and no one asked if we were okay with the additional charge. My dad and I shared the molcajete, which was pretty good, had enough meat, and was literally BOILING hot. My MIL and husband both ordered the Carne Asada plate. It was tasty but had really small portions, so we had to share our food with them to fill them up. My kids ordered French toast and chicken strips. They were originally supposed to get Chicken and Waffles, but they were out of waffles or couldn't make them--I'm not really sure. This is where the problems started. I specifically said KIDS chicken & waffles twice when ordering, but they brought out the adult size for my oldest, which was $8 more. Fine, we can call that an honest mistake, but then it was also charged on the final bill even after we sent it back. Unfortunately, after everything with the bill, we will NOT be going back here again.

My wife is Latina, so we're pretty familiar with authentic Latin/Mexican flavors, and from the moment we walked in, we were a little unsure of what to expect. We completely understand we're in Willow Glen and that Copita is going for a more upscale take, but for us, authenticity and flavor still have to be at the heart of the experience. Our waitress was very friendly and polite, and this review is absolutely not a reflection of her service. However, when we asked about the style of the food, there seemed to be a little hesitation in explaining it, which made us even more uncertain about what we had gotten ourselves into. I don't like bashing restaurants or their food, so I'll simply say that, unfortunately, the highlight of our meal was the chips and salsa. The cocktails, on the other hand, were good and definitely not shy on the alcohol! Also, don't expect large portions. The restaurant is clearly aiming for a more upscale presentation and experience, so the plates reflect that. Overall, Copita just wasn't for us. This was our first visit and unfortunately will probably be our last. I genuinely wish them success, but I think a few changes, especially when it comes to the flavors and authenticity of the food could make a big difference.
