It's a little bit of a bear to get to right now because of the construction, but you'll be happy you fought the good fight to get there. This place is my favorite breakfast taco place of all time. The tortillas are fluffy, and the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. It can get busy and crowded in the little space, so I recommend ordering ahead but expecting a little wait time still. The staff is nice but very busy making fresh breakfast tacos! Came here to start our day and it did not disappoint. We grabbed 2 breakfast tacos per person and 3 for me, that was way too many. Most normal people 1 is plenty and 2 was enough for me. They are huge and packed full of meat. I had the trash can which had a little bit of everything, the fajita, and the barbacoa. Other family members had the bacon and egg and chicken fajita as well. This place was recommended by my sister Gibbu, it took me years to get here since I'm from out of state. I got two trash can tacos along with a chorizo and potato taco. The trash can tacos were phenomenal and went well with the salsas. The two salsas I got were the Salsa Verde and a second sauce which name I can't remember. In the attached picture it's the sauce in the top left. The sauces were amazing, rich, complemented the food perfectly, both had a nice kick of spice. Not sure if they sell the sauces in bottles but if I lived locally I would definitely pick up both. We were there in a bit of a rush and didn't sit inside but the interior was very clean. I appreciated how quick they were, I don't think anyone in my group of three wished for more than 4 minutes. I love this particular location even though their isn't a drive through and the corn tortillas aren't homemade, the service is great and every single ingredient I've had within my store bought corn tortillas has been consistently delicious and also enough to utilize the second tortilla for a snack later on. This is a local gem in San Antonio! I stopped by recently to get breakfast tacos. I wanted to get a whole bunch for the team. We got the Potatoes and Eggs, Chorizo and Eggs, Barbacoa (no Eggs), and Bacon and Eggs. The folks here make separate bags for each type and packed big tubs of salsa that made sharing very easy. Yelp brought us here! There are multiple locations in the San Antonio but this was closest to where we were. We ordered a lot of tacos - 15-18 in all. They are great at taking orders by person and putting that order in a separate bag. I think there were seven of us but just 1 bill so they way they had our food organized was appreciated. So we had two big bags, with seven smaller bags in them I think they were numbered one through seven, so we just had to remember the sequence of ordering. We had a little bit of every taco. Everything was still so delicious! We really wanted to go back one more time, but it just didn't work out. The self sevice salsa bar is amazing. They have a little bit of everything. Pretty decent spot. Tried for the first time today. Big points for speed and price. Tacos were a decent size, salsa was good. Tried two of their specialty tacos, the TNS Special and the Trashcan. Usually you can never go wrong with a place that makes their tortillas fresh, this place falls into that category. Was stuck in the 1604 construction traffic heading back to my hotel. Ordered a couple taco's, and tried a few different salsas and the pico. All is good here, that I tried. Salsas and Pico are like seasonings on steaks, when you are masking bland food or don't know how to cook. The food is super flavorful, cooked to perfection and leave you wanting more just for the flavor. The place was packed, no where to sit when I first got here, stood in line that moves pretty quick, watched some tortillas being made. Other than potatoes in the breakfast taco being a little underwhelming, on the verge of not being fully cooked and no salt, everything else we've tried has been on par. Try the barbacoa or guisada tacos. Are you all about the sauce? Well, take your pick if many ranging from mild to very hot. Have been looking for a Mexican restaurant that serves an ultra healthy salad with protein. We finally checked out two Tacos n Salsa & woah!! They do serve a romaine & spinach fajita-topped salad (with cheese and charro beans). They also serve 600 calorie 'light bowls', one of which has quinoa, black beans, grilled chicken, baby spinach, guacamole and queso fresco! I just added their mild roasted salsa as a salad dressing ... it was so simple yet so filling!! Definitely going back. A major plus ... the 'light bowls' include a drink, some of which are refillable!! Indoor seating was tight at both locations, but the weather's still mild enough to enjoy outdoor seating! read more

It's a little hole in the wall located in a shopping center right off 1604 near the Rim. No drive-thru. It has limited seating and expect it to be packed for lunch. If your group has more than 4 people, order to-go. Though it's packed during lunch, you can call ahead for pick-up, order via Doordash, or the line moves pretty fast once you're there.
