I was heading to LA to visit family and quickly jumped on Yelp to find a place for dinner on Friday night. I wasn't paying attention when it said cash only, but luckily they were near a Ralphs and I could grab cash quickly. The tacos weren't terrible, I had asada and the meat was definitely overcooked. My wife had a carnitas quesadilla and I feel like a plain cheese would have been better. The entire meal was about $20 with tip so it was worth a try, but I won't be back.

I'm not too sure if this is the exact location we picked up from but if all the chains taste like this then it don't matter. It was the last night of my bachelorette trip and my girls and I wanted something super greasy and delicious. This place was the most recommended and best reviewed and wow it really did not disappoint. They were out of beef intestine BUT we found out that they recently added birria tacos and omg it was so good. When I imagine birria tacos, I am only going to think about these. The consóme legit shook me to my core. 100000/10

Not bad at all! We had family members recommend this place so we decided to check it out. We tried sopes, nachos and a burrito. The sope and burrito were great. The nachos were decent, but we might go for the fries next time. Cash only (lol at everyone who complains; is this your first food truck?).

It wasn't bad. It was fine, and thats what I needed, but compared to any of the similar-rated trucks around, this place did not make the cut. Meat wasn't especially flavorful, and was a little dry. Salsa was spicy, and it didn't quite cover the lack of flavor in the meat. Staff was nice, though.

Yum yum yum yum yum. We ordered two chicken tortas from Tacos Tacuba. Honestly, it was hard to pick what to order because everything on the menu looked delicious. The person at the window was very friendly and I appreciated how she said she wouldn't tell anyone if I came back for seconds (hehe). The meat on the tortas had a little crisp too it and boy was there was a LOT of it. The bread was soft but still held the sandwich together. While I thoroughly enjoyed my torta, what I really loved was the SALSA! The red one was HOT! Chefs kiss. I definitely will be stopping by the Tacos Tacuba truck the next time I see it around the Valley!

Try the Tacuba Fries with chicken! It's to die for. The service was amazing. I will definitely come back. I love how clean the truck was and also the surrounding area.

Carne asada burrito con todo. SO GOOOOD.

Sooooo gooooood! Cash only, but we usually get some from the Ralph's they park in front of. The salsa is goood: their picante salsa is a good hit! We like their carne asada burrito, tacos and quesadilla. Have to try more on their menu. That's how much we like it. We goin' back!

Quick clean and professional. But for a $1.50, the tacos are small and the meat for the carne asada and al pastor were dry

We ordered #14 tostaditas w/ asada, #6 tacos doritos w/ birria, and asada quesadilla. We absolutely loved how crispy the tostadas and tacos doritos were. The meat was tasty and tender! The birria concomé was so delicious! So nice that they had three long tables to sit at. Made the experience that much more welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Unfortunately.....ended up disappointing…read more Here is why: I've been to quite a few tacos spots. I've been trying to try this one because I saw the hype on social media (maybe I was expecting them to live.up to that hype) Tacos - 2 stars: there was flavor in the asada and al pastor but the tortillas were small and kinda of hard. They may have left them on the grill too long. Im used to the nice soft delicious tortillas. Guacamole was ok Prices - 2 stars: spent $41 for 8 tacos and 2 senorials. They are over priced and portions are very small. I could have gotten more for my buck somewhere else for example: tacos el venado on sepulveda. They are really good. Angels tacos on sherman way (they have home made tortillas and their tacos are twice as big Over all, disappointing. Would I come back again? Not even if I was starving. But try then for yourself, you may have a different opinion. I have certainly have had better.

I recently tried out El Cocinero's food at an event that they catered to. As a person who eats meat and is not restricted, I would come here for the good food. The vegan al pastor had chunks of pineapple and it is seasoned and cooked to taste just like the meat version. The texture is just a little bit different but it does resemble a lot like meat. The vegan pastor also tastes just like the meat version, just less "smoky" and the texture is softer. The rice is flavorful and fluffy. The beans are seasoned just enough to have flavor but not compete with the other dishes. The creamy chipotle sauce was perfect topping the rice and beans. I do like vegan food but the only reference I had with Mexican vegan are places that try to add fake cheese and lean heavily on beans and rice. This business shows that you can still have all the flavors and not rely on cheese and meat. They focus on the flavors and not what would make non-vegans feel comfortable. Initially, I was going to give this first time experience a 4 star review so that it encourages me to go check out the restaurant so I can add the service and the ambiance. However, I was lucky enough to bring home leftovers and as I was eating it, the food tastes better. Had to add the extra star!

My husband got 2 tacos, brisket and chicken and a side of chips. I through in a side of crispy potatoes. This was a nice cool Sunday evening around 6pm, the vibe was full-ish but still places to sit. There's a big bar around the cook area inside where you order or a covered patio outside area (with heating if necessary). We had a lovely evening, so we sat at the end of a bench. Our food came to our table I'd say within 10-15 minutes of ordering. I honestly could have shared mine. It was a lot with those potatoes, and even my husband who's a thin guy said one of those tacos would have been sufficient (and he could have helped me with mine...haha). We were just in the area visiting our kids, we come down frequently from NorCal, so we will definitely hit up this place again now that we've found it in the near future. So good and super relaxed and easy.

When you try to get the salsa out, only liquid pours onto the tacos and you don't actually get any of the salsa goodness until you wack the bottle SO hard and then it comes FLOODING out. I ate my tacos sans salsa because I couldn't even get it to come out of the bottle. What a bummer because their salsa is delicious! I got my usual brisket breakfast taco and it was just sopping wet. I don't recall it ever coming out that juicy. It was delicious, but super soggy. I also ordered my tacos on the corn tortillas which were good, but their flour tortillas are definitely the star. One soggy taco isn't going to deter me from coming back, I do love the food here. Just wanted to provide feedback on those sauce bottles! Love, A salsa girlie
