I love their food. I always get their burritos, very filling, I really like their rice. The quesadillas are great too. Their tortillas are great. I just tried their nachos for the first time, a pretty generous portion and really good. I never get chicken anywhere, because most restaurants overcook their chicken, making it way too dry, Tacos Tacuba's chicken though - very, very good. Great flavor and juicy every time. The chicken, carnitas, asada, pastor, all tasty. The food is beyond consistent. I've never had a bad experience. I've literally eaten here 50 times because it's so close to me. Delicious taco truck right in front of Ralphs on burbank ave. Their meat was so delicious and not fatty or greasy like most taco trucks! The sope however was not was I was expecting. It was a large sope and the masa was a bit soggy. I prefer the regular smaller sized sopes with a crispy crust! Definitely will be back to try the burritos! They pretty much took me for an IDIOT!! They told me they would make my tacos meanwhile I go get cash because they do not accept cards. I ordered two pastor, one lengua with no onion and no cilantro!! When I come back I am given my to go plate and I pay them. Once I get to my destination I open my plate to find all of my tacos to be plain asada. Not only that but full of cilantro and onion!! I know that wasn't a mistake because I was there last customer and they were waiting on me!! They scammed straight out of what I ordered and figured I wouldn't notice it till I left!! I was so angry I went back to complain only to find that of course they were gone. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO DO THIS TYPE OF UN ETHICAL ACTIONS! Visited this place last week! Saw them on instagram so I decided to give it a try since it's been getting some buzz on social media I love how they made their rice, it was soft. The rice mixes well with the meat on their burrito. This place honestly sucks. I'm actually blown away by all the good reviews. My fiancé and I got asada tacos and an al pastor burrito and the meat was so chewy and gross with so much fat on it that I couldn't even get through an entire taco without throwing it away. Just wanted to give people a heads up so that you're aware because I felt very misled by all the 5 star reviews. Good little taco truck parked outside of a Ralph's. The workers are nice and friendly and speak English. They are cash only though! Got two burritos, each one was $7. Mine was no beans no rice just meat, onions, cilantro, salsa and extra meat ($2). It was tasty! They give you yummy salsa and picked onion with radishes. Waited less than 10 mins. First time visiting California and I must say this place is awesome! My only thing is to make sure if you do not like it to spicy then ask them not to put the sauce on the tacos.
