I thought that the food truck listing said that it took credit card payments because it listed that it did I didn't realize that whether there is an X next to it or a check mark next to it actually Mark's whether or not it takes cash or not so I left a bad review because I thought that they said that they took credit cards when they didn't. overpriced for what you're getting. The food quality is decent but there is no salsa bar. worst part is the staff. one lady who works the register here always gives one price at first and then when you go to pay magically it's 2$ more even if you pay cash. this has happened so many times that i will never come back. they have no prices anywhere so they will change them at a whim. very shady read more

We came here in looking for some good fresh NOT over marinated tacos! This are definitely NOT the ones where the meat is chewy. Everything is fresh the onions the salsa the Tortillas with the PERFECT touch of grilled onions. My husband and I order 3 tacos each to taste how good they were and to make sure we were going to like it before ordering more and it did not disappoint everything it's Delicious so we went and order 6 more. I'm going to start off by saying that their spicy salsa is bomb! It is really spicy but utterly delicious. Definitely take some Tums after though. Haha. Tacos are quite small but very appetizing. I especially enjoyed the beef cheek taco; the meat is very juicy and tender. The sopes was big and hard to eat with one hand but still devourable(if that's even a word). I didn't taste the Torta since my boyfriend got it and was hungry. He liked it though. The pictures are from our second time there and I'm sure we'll be going there again sometime in the future. It's a quick stop if you won't have time to cook at home. :) My only complaint is that I wish they had the prices with the pictures so you know whether you have enough money before walking up to the cash register. read more

Mind you, we've been here before and they have had no issue but now she said "only this time". I've been to this place before and usually no issues however not having your food how you ordered it is disappointing. Went to "Tacos Tacuba" last night for Cinco de Mayo. Usually I hit up the Tacos Venado truck on Lankershim when I'm in the mood for street tacos, but I wanted to try something new. Tacos Tacuba did not disappoint. I was a little wary because they do not list prices on their menu, but I was told they were running a special and tacos were only $1.25. I ordered al pastor, asada, and my son ordered chorizo. When the order was ready, the friendly cashier asked if I wanted a bag of limes & radishes (at Venado, you pack the condiments you want). I told her sure, and she handed me a baggie the size of a softball, and it was stuffed not only with limes and sliced radishes, but sliced jalapeños and onions as well. You could dump everything on a plate and eat it like a salad! (I did.) She also threw in some salsas - green, red, and avocado. Made it home, and the tacos were still almost too hot to pick up. The asada was very good, and the pastor was even better - they cook it with pieces of pineapple. I used the red sauce and it was VERY spicy - it took 3 Coronas to cool off the burn.
