Let me begin with the ambiance being quite nice. We were rather pleased with the decor and plenty of room between tables with comfortable seating. Our service was nothing out of the ordinary. Just average, at best and I will explain in the next paragraph. One of our guests at the table ordered a smoked manhattan cocktail. When it arrived at the table, it was in a glass cabinet, when the server set it down. We thought it was going to fall over because there was only 3 legs on it. The other one was broken off and the server suggested he be careful. Are you kidding? I ordered a side salad and the greens were not a little brown....they were all brown. Can we say very unsightly. Finally, the culmination, with me ordering a ribeye steak. The price was 50+ dollars with your choice of potato. I ordered it medium rare. It came out medium well. When I made comment to the server, she wanted me to cut across the middle of the steak and show her. Anyway, she apologized and said she would bring me another. Sure enough, she did, and honestly it was more over cooked than the first one. She had me cut into it again and by that point everyone else was done. I said it was fine (because by that time, I had enough) from a steak house that does not deserve to be called a steak house. When the final bill came out, the server announced that she took off the steak because she didn't think it looked any different than the first one. REALLY. We were there for dinner before a concert so the menu was limited. We ordered ribeye steak and shrimp scampi. The steak was cooked as we ordered and very large at 18 ounces. The shrimp were very large but lacked the garlic and butter that makes a scampi. All in all it was quick and great service. read more

Steak was cooked perfectly - we ordered the beef tips and chips for the kids - they enjoyed it tender and delicious. The Mac n cheese, au gratin potatoes and sautéed carrots - the sides were delicious. The au gratin potatoes had bacon and cheese - omg so good! Very quiet ambiance and prompt service. I will say that my bartender was my server and he was also my server. He was amazing. The food, however, was horrible. How do you have a steak house and not get the steak cooked properly and mess the loaded baked potato up? A sixty dollar T Bone cooked well done when asked for medium well. There was a brussel sprouts dish with fried onions that tasted like dried stale cardboard. I could not even finish my plate and do not want to take it home. We are here for our 15th anniversary and received a gift card for this place. After reading the reviews, I was quite skeptical. HOLY CRAP! This is the BEST meal both my husband and I have ever had! I am the worlds pickiest eater, and my plate was clean! We called the manager over to let him know as well. He said if he had a "clean plate club" award, he would have given it to me! First time dining here. Love going to nice steakhouses and having that nice atmosphere, great service and of course a beautiful steak. Tado delivered! Older reviews made me skeptical at first, but our experience was great. Understanding things aren't the same as before (servers and customers wearing masks, gloves... not a perfect scenario but these are COVID times). Server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Menu was pretty diverse, plenty to choose from for everyone's taste. I went with the Filet and it was spot on. Delicious, hot and perfectly cooked. Sides were generous and very tasty. Wine selection decent for these scaled back times. If you're thinking of trying this place out I'd say give it a go for sure. The only drawback for me was that it lacked that old school, traditional elegant feel as this house tended to be a bit more modern, but that is a very minimal note at best and my personal preference. I was sadly disappointed by the food at this steakhouse. I have been to quite a few and this one was not impressive when it came to certain items on the menu. Ordered an appetizer of crab cake, those were delicious! The steak was okay, didn't feel like it was seasoned well and charred on parts that took over the flavor of the steak. The restaurant was very inviting and as we were seated it was a pleasant experience. The prices are high but that is the type of restaurant it is. When we received our food, the outside was chared and the inside was not cooked to our requested level. The portions were very small. I will say the food was definitely very tasty .The manager walked through and asked the tables with a large number of people if they were doing okay but completely ignored our table of two and several other small groups of two. This just made us feel that since we weren't a large group we weren't worth spending time on our waitress was Jordan but the other two sections that we could see were serviced by someone else and those two servers spent time with the customer and interacted very well following up to ensure everything was good. Overall it was an okay experience we were expecting a better experience as it's not often we spend $150 on dinner for two. This was our first weekend away without our children and I have to say a little disappointing when it comes to the food Service. We will definitely not be returning but it was an interesting experience. read more

Tado - The Worst Restaurant Food I have ever had with a bill for $277.00! This restaurant once had a good reputation with regard to food, service and nice quiet atmosphere. Don't bother!!!!!! We ate there this past week and it was the worst food I can ever remember eating, with a total bill of $277.00 for two before the tip. The menu prices were not current and it was very limited. Crabcake appetizers were very good; the walleye bites were bland and were 4 and 5 inch pieces, hardly bites. Wedge salad - watered down salad dressing, about 3 or 4 tablespoons on the side of blue cheese and bacon - over kill, and mushy cherry tomatoes. Partner ordered a ribeye - medium rare - it was absolutely 100% rare, quite fatty and the price was marked $50 and it was $70 on the final bill. I ordered a $38 filet and on the final bill it was $50. Two lobster tails for $75. I ordered the Filet Oscar for my steak. OMG! It was bright yellow and there were 6 tablespoons of sauce on the steak with about a tablespoon of crab meat. HOWEVER, the kicker is it was LEMON Flavored and it was so overpowering you could taste nothing but lemon. It had congealed on the plate and was absolutely disgusting! The food was cold, making it worse. To say the asparagus was mealy and over cooked would be an understatement. Our Server asked about it and I told her I've never had Lemon Flavored Oscar and that it was terrible. Her response - oh, we have food critic. She asked and I answered, and not rudely. The only three edible items were the crabcakes, lobster and mashed potatoes. They should just shut this restaurant down and begin again. Recently this restaurant has been hit or miss at best, but $277.00 for food which was absolutely disgusting is too much to ask. We did leave the server a great tip even though this was this worst restaurant food I really have encountered. I would have rather eaten Culver's. Don't waste your time or money on this place!!!! RIPOFF RESERVATION CANCEL FEE Yes, Yelp makes it clear they will nail you to the wall with a $25 per person cancel fee if you cancel same day. What they don't tell you is you have to cancel via phone, you cannot cancel on the app, and the restaurant kept me on hold for 1/2 hour and never picked up when I called to cancel. This place is in Treasure Island, and I spent $300 on my room and fees and room service, and they nailed me for a $50 cancel fee, talk about not appreciating your customers. The hotel didn't bother responding to a polite request for a refund on that cancel fee, so I am not being very polite in this review. Fortunately I used a credit card and I disputed the charge and I will win. From all the poor reviews I have read about the lousy overpriced food, I am glad I didn't eat here. I have stayed all over the U.S. and never in my life did anyone ever have such a nasty cancellation policy, maybe since everyone says the food is so bad, they make most of their money from cancellation fees ! read more

I'll start off by saying that our service was great and our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I ordered a filet, medium and a loaded baked potato. My steak came out well well done. I could have fashioned a belt or a pair of shoes out of it. I sent it back and they made me a new one, by the time the redo made it back to the table my entire family was done eating. I cut into my new steak and it was rare, almost blue in the middle still and it was cold, not even a little bit warm. The loaded baked potato tasted and looked like it had been prepped three days prior and put in a fridge until it was ready to be microwaved and set on the plate. We also order beef tips and mushrooms. No complaints on the beef tips. The mushrooms absolutely sucked!!! We've eaten here in the past and we actually crave the mushrooms because they have been so good, but not today. Todays mushrooms were flavorless and they had what my family described at "dried corn husk hairs" or "deep fried tape" or "finger nail clippings" mixed in with them. (Yes, this was how they were described in our conversation). All of this for $200.... Not worth it. Look elsewhere. So disappointed! read more

The staff out front are terrific, they are thoughtful and work hard to provide a memorable dining experience, I understand that in today's industry of restaurants, that obtaining and retaining top notch help may be difficult when it comes to the food preparation part of the food business, but shrinking the menu is not going to help. Give diners what they want, not by restricting choices. But by expanding them, we tried the bacon appetizer, burnt to a crisp, my filet burnt to a crisp also. My employer hosted an employee appreciation night night at T.I. including 20 rooms & dinner for all at Tado. There were 40 of us & I used to be a server, so I completely understand their offering us a paired down / limited menu, HOWEVER... There wasn't a meal under $45 (to be fair, possibly the chicken was, but who even looks at then when offered steak?) There are a small handful of us who have dietary restrictions & they were COMPLETELY unwavering about no substitutions. Forty people @ $40 each minimum...that's $1800, but most everyone went for steaks or surf & turf, the cocktails were flowing very generously, as were the limited happy hour menu of appetizers, and many desserts. Point being, we were there spending BIG. So...3 potato choices, no rice. There were multiple veggie options, but your soup/salad, potato, & veggie options were pre-selected based on your meat...if you got the fillet, you got a salad (no dressing choice, just a Dijon vinaigrette), asparagus & mashed potatoes, & each dinner was like that. Again, I understand limited options, but this seemed ridiculous. So, you're ordering a $65 ribeye & if you'd like the au gratin potatoes the person next to you gets...too bad, eat a baked. There were 3 potatoes offered, but you couldn't choose which one? People are spending likely around $3k on a dinner, but it's too much trouble to allow ANY choices? And that's on top of my cold fillet, my co-workers rare to blue ribeye that was supposed to have been medium, & worst of all, these beautiful cuts of meat may as well have been prepared by someone with ya tongue...ZERO seasoning. No mushrooms, onions, béarnaise sauce, or any accompaniments were even an option to add some flavor to the steaks either. Hey "STEAKHOUSE " , you should know how to cook a steak. Our server was pleasant enough...but nothing beyond. She was good about keeping the drinks flowing, but never asked how our food was (maybe she knew & was embarrassed). This isn't the first time my company has taken us to T. I. & Tado. They spend big, because they are one of those rare companies who genuinely value & want to reward us with something nice. Step it up Tado, because while they spent the money for a great reward, we didn't receive a truly great reward. The entirety of our dinner was disappointing at best. . Lastly, the steakhouse doesn't have a restroom. You have to leave & walk through the smoky casino, which was both too far to have to go & really disgusting. The 2 stars are for the lovely, clean atmosphere. Almost rated a two but the waitress saved it. It was my husband's birthday and she overheard me talk to him about it and brought him a surprise as well as just being an amazing waitress. The food was very good for the most part, but this is our second time here and it was completely different from last year. We had a 9 o'clock reservation because we had to get in late to check in. We were told at the door that we had to be out by 10. It was 945 while we were signing the check and the bus girl came and started taking things off of the table and pulling the table Cloth off before I could get my purse off of the table. Why have reservations booked until nine if you're pushing people out before 10? Customer service is the most important part of a business like this. read more

This was our first time eating here. The waitress was friendly. We both had the prime rib with au gratin potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and ordered the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Took 40min to get our food. The fried mushrooms were over cooked and flavorless- the sauce was their saving grace. The prime rib was cooked well but flavorless once you got past the outer seasoning- the au jus couldn't save it. I should have ordered something other than the potatoes. The waitstaff was friendly but overly visited out table making it seem like they knew something wasn't right. For a $60 meal and 1/3 ( I got scallops too which were good)of it is cold and hard- you would have thought they could have taken a couple dollars off!Would not recommend.
