Dessert was a perfect end. The peach cake is not too sweet, while the chocolate tort is rich and happy. Service was great, and the interior is refined, warm, and restrained.

TailGate Brewery is a phenomenal spot! First off, the pizza is a solid 5/5--absolutely delicious. At $15 for a small, it's already a great value, but they do half-off pizza on Wednesday nights, which is an absolute steal! My wife and I ordered two small pizzas, and it was more than enough food; we even ended up taking some leftovers home. Beyond the food, their craft beer selection is massive, so there is truly something for every beer lover. The staff here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which makes the vibe even better. The facility itself is very clean and offers tons of both indoor and outdoor seating. Plus, they host really fun trivia nights if you're looking for an entertaining evening out. To top it all off, they have loads of parking, which takes all the stress out of arriving. We have been customers at Tailgate for years. Our recent visit was pretty bad. The food is decent, especially the pizza, but our order took over an hour and a half (it wasn't horribly busy either), and when we would ask if everything was coming along, we were met with a sharp attitude as though we had no right to request an update. We received incorrect items too, without any apology. It seems like the employees are unhappy, and perhaps they are short staffed because the owners don't pay enough. A lot of restaurants and businesses have been crying about lack of workforce, but the reality is they probably just don't pay a living wage. Considering we paid $86 for two sandwiches, a child, size pizza, and a basket of fries, along with four drinks, I think they can afford to pay their workers a bit more. read more

What's more, everyone who is associated with Tailgate goes out of her or his way to make each customer feel as if no one else is as important as that person. The owner, Wes Keegan, makes sure that everyone in the organization is knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. Phenomenal beers in over 25 varieties, new beers all the time, and plenty of liquor/wine options for the non-beer drinking friend. The service is amazing and they make everyone feel like a regular on the first time in. The bartenders are able to quickly find the perfect beer for you out of the tons of options! The food stands alone and this place could succeed merely as a pizza joint, serving incredible artisan pizza with house-made dough. Add in $9 growler fills and 6 packs to your take-out order and this place is next level. We had a great afternoon in Chattanooga and decided to stop by TailGate Brewery for a relaxing hour. The vibe was laid-back and friendly, and we enjoyed a flight of four beers. I wish the presentation was a bit better for the lemonade as it was in a solo cup. Definitely better dive bar vibes and had a good amount of games playing. I've accidentally been here twice a week ever since the weather has been nice and their incredible staff is a big part of that! Arrive early for parking and a seat, it fills up because it's that good. I love that it's not only dog friendly, but they offer treats for our dogs which helps keep them busy when distractions come from the busy nearby intersection.

Food came out pretty quickly & the staff gave us a heads up that the only beer cheese they had left for the nachos was from the bottom of the pot, & to let us know if it tasted off & they'd remove it from the ticket which was nice, but I thought it was fine. We ordered the pub Reuben, bratwurst, & southwest pub nachos, & a Belgian blonde ale. Pretty solid for pub food! It's not going to win any awards but they had a good drink selection & the food hit the spot & is very reasonably priced for eating out nowadays. Would recommend for a chill hangout spot to grab a beer & share a bite, but it was crowded even at 10:30 at night!

The crust was still crispy after a 15 minute drive home and the next day as cold leftover pizza. Would recommend you don't go there so I can get my pizza quickly. Don't ruin this for me!
