We visited on a Friday late afternoon. We were immediately seated. Several in our group of 6 ordered the Friday all you can eat Fish Special. I ordered a Patty Melt with fries. Our order can out as expected, my friends enjoyed their 2 pieces of fish, Cole slaw, & fries. My Patty Melt was cooked as ordered. But the meat, the hamburger, only covered about 2/3 of the pieces of rye bread it was served on. The sandwich was good, but the meat either needed to be bigger or the rye bread smaller. More fish was ordered by my friends, even though it took a while, it was brought to the table and was enjoyed by them. read more

This is your typical sports bar it's pretty big on the inside and plenty of seating. The food is okay SUPER greasy. I ordered a wrap and it came out as a sandwich instead and the took it right back and put it on a tortilla. My husband had a baked sandwich and it wasn't anything special. me and my mom thought it would be fun to have some pizza here. service was completely fine, free seating was amazing. we only ordered a 12 inch pizza and some beer, and guess how long it took.. 2 AND A HALF HOURS. we were about to get up and leave but a pizza came shortly after, pizza was alright but it was so over cooked and they put to much sauce. it tasted microwaved and i almost thought that i was eating microplastics because it was just so bad. we also ordered olives on are pizza but once we got it after waiting for 2 AND A HALF HOURS, we saw that there was no olives at all. we called the manager over since we saw him walking, but he completely ignored us when he was literally looking right at us.. this wasnt really that bothering but after we were done eating, our drinks were no where to be found after we had only ordered lemonade and sprite, we ignored this since we were already packing up to leave. when we got the check we were still charged for the drinks we didnt even get, my mom had a problem with this and we told the manager we werent going to pay for the drinks since we didnt even get them, he refused to let us leave without paying for the drinks and threatened to call the authorities on us if we continued to refuse to pay for it, we didnt want to cause more of a scene so i just payed the 10 extra dollars for the drinks we didnt even get. before we left the manager said that we werent welcome back here and if we were to come back he would call the police, he seemed very passive aggressive towards all his customers and i dont see how this place even has any 5 star reviews, all those accounts must be paid or bots cause this was horrible customer service! i also hated the Ambiance and scenery, the place smelt like a sewer and it hasn't been cleaned since last year. there were lots of kids screaming and just running around. a word of advice for anyone who wants a good time and some pizza, NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE FACED WITH THINGS YOU DIDNT GET BUT HAVE TO PAY FOR AND RUDE STAFF. 1 STAR read more

Personally i think this location has drastically gone down hill. The food quality is not keeping up with other bars in the area. Service has always been lackluster here. Wouldn't go here unless someone else insisted. Lakeside or cross eyed cricket have better food and service and atmosphere IMO. read more

Every location handles potato skins really well. That is very important in my world. Service was kinda distracted but once I got the right person's attention I got taken care of. Scott the manager is amazing! He went out of his way to get numerous college football games on many TVs. He also answered questions and seemed concerned about food allergies aka Celiacs. We ordered via grub hub. I don't know who's at fault, then or tailgaters... but our food arrived cold (obviously not tailgaters fault), but also... We ordered the grilled cheeseburger. It came with no burger, just a grilled cheese. With the burger order, you can't opt out of upgrades. You have to select the extra charge for upgrades, no other option and it won't let you add the item unless you choose an upgrade. We ordered wings. No option for sauce? I figured they'd come medium, since you can't choose any flavors. I figured wrong... they came with nothing on them. Why can't I select a flavor? Spinach artichoke dip was burned into the foil container. It was way over cooked and not edible. I would never order through grub hub or order any delivery through tailgaters until they fix this. This place has really come around since it first opened. There was quite a while I wouldn't even step through the door. Not anymore. They have upped their game to become an excellent sports bar and grill destination. The food is really good and the wait staff works very hard to ensure you are satisfied. Their burgers are on par with any of the higher priced places in the valley. And the beer selection is on point. If you can't find a beer you like here I'm going to say you just don't like beer. The ad claims if you check-in to Tailgaters on Facebook you will receive a coupon/free appetizer/whatever. I checked-in then asked our waitress what we had won, who had no idea, who proceeded to ask the manager, who told us the promo was 4 years old and somehow didn't include the Peoria location. When I told the manager the promo said it included the Peoria location, he said he would "text their FB guy and find out." We never saw Manager Man again. Went yesterday after being talked into it from friends. When we walked in I noticed the bar pretty full of people watching NASCAR sitting elbow to elbow. No social distancing taking place there. Then I notice no masks, gloves or other means of safety with the staff including cooks. We get seated and both booths on either side of us had people sitting in them and several of the table's were next to each other with people seated at them. I guess they don't take customer safety or reopening orders highly and no one will be doing anything about it so it is take care of yourself. Oh, the food was marginal. Everyone left still feeling hungry and 3 of the 6 had cold food. I know everyone is trying to get back in the swing of things but if you aren't ready on the safety or food prep areas maybe give it some time.
