Taj Chaat House is definitely my go to spot for some paani puri and aloo tiki chaat in the metroplex. You cannot go wrong with any of their dishes. They have been consistent in their taste and quality over the years, which is commendable. The staff members are friendly and efficient in taking the orders and preparing the food. Self service is the best way to keep the restaurant affordable. Parking can get tricky in the evenings and weekends given there are other establishments that get busy as well. The restaurant has been renovated and gives it a fresh new feel. Pricing : Moderate.

Absolutely Disgusting Experience - Found a Dead fly in my food I wish I could give zero stars. I was horrified to find a DEAD FLY in my food. This is beyond unacceptable for any restaurant or food brand. Not only is it completely unsanitary, but it also made me feel sick immediately after. The fact that this made it to my plate shows there's no proper hygiene or quality control in place. I will NEVER order from here again and will be warning friends, family, and social media followers. Absolutely appalling. Filthy, unsafe, unhygienic, ruined my appetite, potential health risks.

Service was quick as always! Ordered bhel Puri and malai kofta with Methi Paratha and Gobi Paratha. It was served with pulao rice and raita. Malai kofta was very average! Paratha was delicious! Bhel Puri was very refreshing.

I've been coming here for years and it's still my favorite spot. I highly recommend the pani puri and the dahi puri. Their dosas are also so amazing and definitely try the different lassis.

Great authentic Indian food and samosas. Service is very nice. I can't remember what I got, but it was the platter that comes with everything that includes a variety of soups, curries, rice, naan, and desserts. Great place for a family dinner.

Help! Can't stop eating. And every iteration of my visit the place keeps getting better. And today was the pinnacle: the nice old ladies running the place gave me a bunch of things on the house! Chai, spiced rice and free flow of sambar. They've been doing a better job too over the years. Better customer service. Better food. And they're doing a better job on cleanliness now too! Dosas are nice and crispy. And wafting of fresh ghee. And bahture is also thick and chewy. Definitely coming back soon.

This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was quick, so overall this time it felt like a much better experience.

I've never had nepal food before and i must say i can't believe i waited all this time to taste it. We ended up getting the Butter Chicken Momo and the Himalayan Kitchen Special Chow Mein (Beef) both for around 34 bucks. I know its a bit pricey for something that's fast and not at a full service restaurant, but i think it was worth it. The burst of flavor was intense on the momos... I really enjoyed the sweet and umami taste of the butter chicken sauce. one hack is to take a small bite of the momo and then fill the inside with sauce and then eat the whole momo. The chow mein was also really good and has a nice kick to it. This place is fairly close by my office and i'll be back.

From speed and accuracy to taste and freshness of orders, My Thai and Vegan has never disappointed. The My Thai and Vegan website makes ordering a breeze, the menu is expansive, and check-out process simple (especially if you've ordered from them before). I enjoy playing with their menu and have tried a number of offerings. My favs include their tofu basil fried rice, fresh veggie spring rolls, pad see eew, and vegan sesame "chikn" among others. I will say I tried their vegan rangoons and wasn't a fan, but it was just a matter of personal taste and not at all was My Thai and Vegan to blame. I appreciate and enjoy their custom spice levels as well as the number of add-ons/offerings/options their website offers to really make your meal your own. I have never had to wait for my to-go order to be ready and waiting for me when I arrive and pick-up has always been super speedy and simple. Service, although my interactions have been brief, has always been friendly and pleasant. Whenever work has me in the area you can bet I'll be grabbing lunch at some point from My Thai and Vegan. When we asked the manager about it, he didn't seem to know they changed this. 10/25/25 was 8.25% tax (including alcohol in the order). All recent bills were anywhere from 13% to 16.5% hidden in the "tax" line, not even itemized. I'm sure because they know most won't realize it. This may explain why on a Friday at 5pm (even with a social hour) the bar was empty except for one other couple. Not going to reduce the stars since I like many of the long-timers that work here, but whoever is running the show now should probably re-examine their decisions. #WWFD

The menu leans Mexican fusion, with standout seafood and steak options across the board. One of my personal favorites is their sea bass special with pineapple reduction. It's beautifully balanced sweet, savory, and rich without being heavy and comes with perfectly cooked charred vegetables on the side. The drinks are excellent, especially the margaritas, which definitely lean on the stronger side, fair warning that one drink can feel like two. Save room for dessert too; they offer a solid selection of cakes and sweets that are a great way to close out the meal. Service is attentive and warm, and they also have private group dining rooms available, making it a great option for corporate events or holiday parties. Valet parking is available, but there's also plenty of convenient parking right next to the restaurant. Overall, Via Real is a reliable, elevated dining experience that still feels welcoming and rooted in tradition, a Las Colinas classic for a reason.
