My sister-in-law stopped by here and picked up some treats while we were waiting next door at Zankou. I wish I had gone with her instead of sitting in the car. My favorite item was the cream puffs, which were fresh and delicious. She mentioned that the store is fairly new and offers a wide variety of options. I love a good person I can't wait to come back and check this place out for myself. She also shared that the service was attentive, and the store and display cases were clean and well stocked.

This little bakery was cute & felt elegant/modern! The cashier was really nice. I tried the raspberry roll & it was really yummy! Not too sweet & the perfect hint of tartness from the raspberry. I'm interested in trying their other pastries since i saw they also had a tiramisu roll.

I stopped by when I saw the grand opening sign. The shop has a variety of sweets, Persian Cakes and Ice cream and variety of nuts. The service is pleasant and it 's mostly for take out. I went early afternoon so it was average. Beautiful decor and ambiance. Flavorful pastries with moderate prices.

The service and pastries were amazing, seriously a perfect 5 out of 5. I popped in right after lunch, I'd just eaten next door. My sweet tooth was practically screaming at me from next door after I spotted this new bakery. I pretty much grabbed one of everything to try, and wow, they were all a huge hit and super delicious!

This was my first time trying Tak Bakery, and it did not disappoint! The pastries were fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. You can tell everything is made with care. The place has such a cozy, welcoming vibe -- I'll definitely be back to try more!

I've visited Tak Bakery in Tarzana a few times now, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Their pastries are consistently fresh and delicious. The coffee is excellent too, smooth and rich, making it the perfect match for their sweets. Whether I'm grabbing something to go or sitting down to relax, Tak Bakery has never disappointed -- it's become one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood.

I love Tak bakery. The staff are incredibly welcoming and kind. No matter how busy they are, they treat every customer with the same care and attention. You never feel rushed, and they always make you feel valued. On top of that, their cakes and cookies are absolutely amazing, fresh, delicious, and some of the best I've ever had. It's definitely a place I keep coming back to.

Paris Baguette Bakery & Restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! Entering this place feels exactly like…read morestepping into a cozy European café. They make daily, from-scratch pastries in small batches, ranging from mochi donuts, butter croissants, and custard-filled donuts to fresh baguette sandwiches, salads, and tons of drink selections like fresh juices, mineral waters, and lattes. The service is super friendly and incredibly fast. The system is so fun and easy: you just walk in, grab a tray and a pair of tongs, handpick your desired pastries, and head to the front. You can eat there or take them to go in a box. If you order a sandwich, they can heat it up on-site for you so you get a cheesy, warm, toasty meal. For this visit, we tried: World Cup Special Donut: A custard-filled donut topped with chocolate and shaped like a soccer ball in honor of the World Cup going on right now. The egg custard filling was so addictive and creamy--absolutely amazing! Almond Croissant: Stuffed with almond paste, covered in buttery, toasted almond slices, and dusted with powdered sugar. The flavor was fantastic! The inside could have been just a tiny bit more moist, and I always wish for more of that delicious almond filling, but it was still extremely flavorful. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Sitting outside is especially nice since you're facing busy Ventura Boulevard, making it a perfect spot to shade-sit and people-watch. Plus, it's located in a great shopping plaza, so there's plenty of parking. My only critique is that it is definitely a little overpriced, making it more of a "once-in-a-while" treat rather than a daily habit. Still, it's a truly fantastic spot if you want high-quality, fresh-baked bread and pastries~~~

We were checking out the new Gelato Mio next door and noticed Napoleon Bakery after parking. The…read moreinterior was so attractive that we were enticed to go inside an check out their wares. Although it was close to closing time, the young man who was minding the shop was very friendly and gracious in answering our questions. They have a beautiful selection of cake slices, pastries, and even coffee drinks available. They do custom whole cakes for birthdays and other occasions. With the name of Napoleon, I thought it was a French bakery. It turns out that they specialize in a number of European confections, including options from Eastern Europe. Without a lot of time before they were done for the day, Dear Hubby and I each chose a cake slice, and we got a cake pop for our Sweet Granddaughter. She got to pick the color icing she preferred, which was nice. The pricing seems fair, especially given the loving care that's gone into baking and decorating each baked treat. We will definitely be visiting again. They are within 5 to 10 minutes of where our kids live, so there you go - a new "secret" place discovered!

We saw this place next door after having lunch/dinner at Boiling Pot next door on Sunday. The…read moreplace looked popular with tables filled on the patio and the pastries on display through the window looked intriguing so decided to take a chance and maybe get a small coffee and some pastries to try. There was a young man at the counter who welcomed us with a wonderful smile. He said his name is Said (pronounced Sa-eed) and asked if it was our first time here. We said it was, so he offered to give us some samples of their most popular bake goods. He said it is made of light custard and it's called soft cake and it is traditional pastry from his country in Uzbekistan that his mother bakes all from scratch. In Asia we also don't like overly sweet cakes so we thought it sounded to fit our taste preferences. And we loved it after trying! My mom said it tastes very similar to the cake she had back in Seoul in her childhood she misses fondly, but she could never have that same taste. Just a little sweeter. But the custard and texture of the cake is just the same. We also got the eclair. And it was pretty good too. But definitely recommend the soft cake!! Sooo yummyyy!! I also got the strawberry cold foam matcha latte and my mom got a small americano coffee. She said it's the best coffee she had in a cafe. Of course superb compared to Starbucks or any other coffee franchise. She says American coffee shops always burn their beans so it tastes burnt, but this place roasted the beans just right. And we also loved the strawberry cold foam matcha. I don't know how, but it tasted like really strawberry was in the drink!! My mom said it's the best strawberry milk she ever had here and in Korea! And she wants to order again when we come by next time. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Food and drinks were all prepared with such care, but given at a reasonable time. Some of these cafes take forever to make your drinks, even Starbucks makes you wait 20 minutes! These other coffee shops make it seem like they're doing some complex chemistry experiment how long it takes for just a drink! But this young guy he makes the drink in under 5 min and it tastes 10x better anything those other coffee shops make, but in less than half the time! I really thought maybe it was really hard making drinks, but this young dude makes it look like a walk in the park, the speed and ease he cranks out the drinks. I think Uzbekistan people must be just built different! and he was also so kind and pleasant taking the time to explain and answer all our questions. Some of these other places wouldn't even bother or make it feel like you're pulling a nail from them the way they grimace. He was so nice we wanted to give a tip, but he even said he didn't want us to. He'd happily accept just our enjoying the food and drinks and would appreciate if we left a review for his cafe. just had to leave a review. Especially after how nice he is. And hearing his story and how it's a family run bakery with the mom baking and son making drinks and running front counter. And an authentic European bakery!! Wow! Aren't we so glad they moved into our neighborhood! A Real quality cafe I didn't even know what I was missing until I stepped into this little shop by mere chance! I Will definitely come by again. And anyone else who discovers this little gem would be so lucky and blessed as us!

Before I get into the details of the picture shown, I need to mention that accidents happen and…read moresometimes they happen on the day you really don't want it to- but it does. As long as no lives were lost, and no fights were involved all is fine. For us all is fine. There was a terrible event that happened; but, it was addressed very sincerely. I ordered a quarter sheet flagship Berries and Cream cake withe customized details on the cake. It was a birthday cake for 3 people. Shivon showed me a sample of what I would see. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, on the way to our house, the driver had a near accident. The cake was ruined. We needed the (surprise) birthday cake at the house before the birthday people came to the house so it would not be seen. The driver was supposed to be at my house before 10:00AM. He was making good time; but when 10:05 came, we started getting worried. When he did arrive he showed us the smashed cake you see in the picture. I sent the picture to Shivon and she sounded like she was going to have a heart attack! She profusely apologized and told me she was going to make this better. She went overboard!! I supposed knowing that there were 3 birthday people she made 3 separate different flavored small round cakes (not that little I might add!), a dozen cupcakes . I am not a fan of sweets; but, all of the cakes and cupcakes I tasted were excellent! And yes, per the menu very expensive- but for the quality, so worth it. I wish I had taken pictures of the cakes she sent. But, we were rushing around so much by that time, I couldn't. The driver however took pictures. So, if Shivon can get them up on this post, you will be able to see what I mean by going overboard! Shivon is more than just a salesperson she is a very sincere and empathetic person. We will definitely be back. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is that the delivery person should have contacted Shivon as soon as it was known that the cake was ruined so she could have started on a new cake, or at least prepared Shivon for a situation that she would not have had to freak out on! I felt so bad for her!
