    Teriyaki Chicken Bowl

It's a quaint little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The teriyaki chicken was fresh, delicious, and tasted healthy without sacrificing flavor. The portion size was generous, especially for the reasonable price. I'd definitely order it again.

Delicious! First time trying this spot out. Came here after my daughter's softball game for some take out and as we were in the parking lot deciding which restaurant to choose, I noticed this location had ramen so that was the deciding factor on which restaurant- Which I am so happy that we chose this place! Located in a shopping center where the John's incredible pizza is, this place is tucked right next to a starbucks. The location is small- about 8 or so tables but it was cute and clean and that's exactly what I am looking for when I want sushi- especially for takeout. We got 2 chicken ramens and 2 poke bowls. Not having any expectations is the best. I got home opened up my poke bowl and I was already in awe. Took a bite WOAH! This place now has me hooked! Not only is the poke bowl a bang for your buck, it's absolutely delicious. I will most definitely be coming back again. The fish tasted fresh, the service was excellent.

Honestly everytime I come I never understand why it's not as packed as it should be. The service alone is always amazing! I've come about 3x usually when I've been in the area but the older woman and the young teenager who have always helped us are literally the sweetest. Even though I've only come a couple times she has remembered my baby and when I've come without him she made sure to ask me how he is doing. As far as the food it's literally so good and the best of both worlds for ramen and sushi. I do recommend the spice with the ramen though it just gives it the perfect kick! The ambiance is very simple which is nice they are constantly cleaning up the tables to make sure they tables have no dishes or trash on them so you can order and go straight to sitting. As well as their 2 rolls get 1 free promotion is literally a great deal.

With the skilled cut and flavor combination, it tastes like straight up cold butter which felt illegal. Not fishy at all. Just butter wow Salmon**- simple and delicious. We liked the fresh better than seared today. Scallops*- fresh and sweet! From Japan Seared Black cod*- so soft and buttery. Tastes special. Yum! Side note: their spicy mayo is really good. I'm getting sesame oil notes on it which really amps up the flavor! Seared Mackerel - not as buttery as the jack variety, firm and fishier Red Shrimp - fresh and tasty, but the texture was firm, maybe I'll try a different variety next time Matcha Mont Blanc - Nutty, creamy, and mild, much more chestnut taste than matcha. It took us over an hour to receive a few items. I want to say maybe they don't have enough people staffed on Sunday in the back? At the front they were fine and had enough servers which was good but not at the back. It was just a really long time and wasn't like this in the past. Either way, it was a disappointing evening.

1 Star, Correct Concept, but Disappointing Execution…read more I really wanted to like this place. I had seen it advertised extensively on social media, and the photos and combinations looked creative, exciting, and very appealing. Unfortunately, our experience in person was quite different from what we expected. Food Quality and Hand Rolls The presentation was attractive, and I appreciated some of the creative toppings and combinations. There are clearly some good ideas behind the menu. Unfortunately, the execution missed the mark for us. The biggest disappointment was the nori (seaweed). Our hand rolls arrived with seaweed that was already very soggy. This is particularly disappointing because one of the defining pleasures of a hand roll is the contrast between freshly prepared ingredients and crisp, freshly wrapped nori. Once the seaweed becomes soft and soggy, much of what makes a hand roll enjoyable is lost. The flavors of some of the combinations also felt somewhat overwhelming. Rather than allowing the quality and natural flavors of the fish to stand out, some combinations seemed to rely too heavily on toppings and competing flavors. In my opinion, the restaurant may be trying a little too hard to be trendy and creative, when sometimes the best sushi is about simplicity, balance, freshness, and letting the ingredients speak for themselves. Charge for Extra Ginger Another small but disappointing detail was being charged for a side of ginger. At most sushi restaurants, ginger is routinely provided as a complimentary accompaniment, and even at many higher-end Japanese restaurants, requesting a little extra ginger typically does not result in an additional charge. While the charge itself was small, it felt unnecessarily petty, particularly given the overall experience. It is the kind of small detail that can leave a negative impression on a customer. Service The service also fell short of what I expected. The staff were polite and courteous, but the overall service was very slow and inefficient. We waited outside while there appeared to be numerous open tables and chairs inside. There also seemed to be plenty of staff working, which made the slow customer turnover particularly difficult to understand. Even something as simple as ordering a drink took far longer than it reasonably should have. The issue was not that the employees were rude; they were generally polite. Rather, the service simply lacked efficiency and attentiveness. Overall Impression I really like the concept behind this restaurant, and I can see why it has generated attention on social media. The menu is creative, the presentation is appealing, and there are some genuinely interesting combinations. Unfortunately, our actual experience did not live up to the expectations created by the advertising. For me, the most important issue was the soggy nori. A hand roll should ideally be made to order and enjoyed immediately, with crisp seaweed complementing fresh ingredients. That contrast and simplicity are a big part of what makes a good hand roll so enjoyable. Unfortunately, ours arrived already soft and soggy, which significantly diminished the experience. That said, I am willing to give this restaurant another try because it is possible we simply caught them on an off day. There is enough potential here that I would like to see whether the food and service are better on a future visit. For now, however, our experience was disappointing, and the restaurant did not live up to the expectations created by its social media presence.

There is so much love, so much heart that is put into the food. Additionally, the amount of food is coma sending. I finished the food and was so ready to take a nap in the warm weather. It's literally like eating grandma's food when youre a young child. The spicy tuna came out first and we were shocked at how delicious the fish was. There wasn't a lot of rice which I appreciated and that fish had a bit of a kick. Pair that with some wasabi shoyu and you're tasting some real goodness. The spam musubi was solid with the furikake. My only gripe was that it had a bit too much rice which could have been better balanced with a thicker slice of spam. Regardless, it was solid. Now the star was the chicken combo. Boy oh boy, that Ladybug Fried Chicken was amazing. The batter had so much flavor and added to the juicy chicken. Pair that with you salad and mac salad.. oh my.. youre tasting a slice of Heaven! Fair warning, there is some grinded celery in the mac salad, so if youre allergic then let them know. Otherwise, that aroma of celery added so much depth to the mac. I can't emphasize enough, there is so much love in the food and the servers take gooooood care of you. It was also amazing to see how much attention to detail the owners put in the restaurant. There is ladybug decor all throughout the place and hand drawn papers from customers. It was really neat to see how much love they receive from their customers.

The ambience is laid‑back, cafeteria‑casual, and absolutely unbothered, like it knows the tonkatsu is good enough to speak for itself. Let's get down to business. We went in on the Chicken Katsu and the Katsu Don, and honestly, both dishes came out swinging. The chicken katsu was crispy in that crunch way, while still staying juicy inside. The katsu don had that comforting, saucy, slightly sweet vibe that makes you feel like life is going to be okay. Because it is! And let's talk about the curry sauce, "Wow" it's thick, savory, and the kind of delicious that makes you consider pouring it on things it probably shouldn't go on. It's the type of curry that makes you nod to yourself mid‑bite like you just solved a personal problem. Ordering at the counter is quick and painless. You place your order, and wait for your incoming deliciousness. The staff keeps things moving smoothly, even when Tokyo Central gets busy. It's efficient, friendly, and very "get in, get fed, get happy." There is nothing fancy, and that's exactly the charm. Casual seating, relaxed energy, and the kind of environment where you can enjoy your meal without feeling judged for how aggressively you're eating your katsu. It's simple, clean, and perfect for a no‑frills comfort meal. This is one of those reliable G-Town spots that delivers crispy katsu, comforting bowls, tasty curry, and fast counter service, all wrapped in a chill, Tokyo‑Central‑style setting.
