There are no shortage of oil change options in the medical center area, which can be tempting when issues like this come up. Valvoline Babcock will still be my go to for oil changes knowing that Richard is reasonable and has always corrected any issues.

My eyes were immediately attracted to Sun Auto so I called to see if there was any way to get my son's car repaired before the holiday weekend. I expressed my concerns with manager Thomas about my son's predicament and Thomas told me to have it towed there and he would have a mechanic diagnose it. By mid-day Friday, I had an estimate for the repairs and a commitment that the car would be repaired on Saturday. Thomas had already sourced the parts before he spoke to me. I contacted Take 5 corporate directly, and they confirmed there is no policy preventing them from servicing my vehicle. In other words, the explanation given at the store simply wasn't true. What makes it even more frustrating is that the location had zero customers at the time. Instead of providing service, employees were standing around while making up policies that corporate says do not exist. After years of choosing Take 5 for oil changes, this was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. If a location doesn't want to service a vehicle, they should be honest about it instead of blaming a nonexistent corporate policy.

Luckily, that worked for me because they were a little backed up already, so it wouldn't have been ready in the hour the website promised. Other than that, the staff was very friendly, and the car was clean when I got it back. While they did recommend some other things that they felt needed work on, they weren't pushy about it - which is so refreshing nowadays. The online discount was great, too. Upon arrival, the front desk representative acknowledged that a note was present but admitted he had not read it. As I began to explain my needs (also needing an oil change, steering and transmission fluid service, I was abruptly interrupted as soon as I mentioned bringing my own tires. I was informed that it is company policy not to install parts purchased outside the shop, despite the fact that my tires were brand new with the stickers still on them. When I inquired why I had not received any follow-up communication--such as an email or phone call--regarding this policy, I was simply offered an apology. This experience was both disappointing and frustrating, particularly because I had been referred to your shop by a close friend. I expected a higher standard of customer service and better communication regarding policies that directly impact appointments.
