This is my initial visit to store 626, and I am impressed enough to make it my go-to place from now on. The staff at this store is highly professional, honest, and dependable. Although they did recommend two additional services, I had a conversation with them and realized that these services were indeed necessary. Moreover, they even offered a discount for one of the services. While they could have easily convinced me to spend $200 on a particular service, they advised me to check the car facts beforehand, which many other places might not have done. As a result, they have gained a loyal customer for life! read more

I was nervous to go do an inspection by myself, I recently moved to SA a year ago, but I called and they weren't busy. Over the phone it was brief but in person they were so nice! I think it was the main manager who helped me out the most. I went around 3pm and no one else was there. Inspection took probably 10 mins and was only $7! Where I usually go in Austin is $20. They even helped me out with something very minor for free! Everyone was super nice and I'll definitely be back to this location again! read more

I went in for an oil change. They talked me into a brake job. It took (4) hours and drivers side front squeaked afterwards. I took back to another jiffy lube and they said they couldn't be sure what was wrong. I took it to brake check and spent $974 fixing the mistakes of this place. I needed new rotors, calipers, and pads (they had to be replaced again). That's after paying this place over $400 for pads! Never will I use this place for ANYTHING but oil changes! read more

All 3 guys I encountered today during my time here were so nice and welcoming. When I arrived I was greeted so nicely after I told him what I needed done he showed me to the waiting room. I just needed an oil change so they were really fast. I think I waiting maybe like 25 minutes or so. I appreciated that they didn't aggressively try and sell me anything that needed to be done with my car as well. They just explained what they suggested and when I said "no thank you" he just said "no problem" and went along with the process. Even checking out the other guy was so nice. I've never been here before, but I'll be making this a permanent place to get my car serviced now! read more

Last stop in an effort to finally get my oil changed at 5:30 on a Friday evening after Midas and Firestone down the street were packed (like always). No wait, they started working on my car right away and the waiting area was nicer than the other two places that let me down. It's great that they keep records online of maintainence performed on your cars, and that they wash your windows and vaccum your floorboards. They do charge more for an oil change, and actually charge to rotate your tires ($30) that comes included with an oil change at most other places. The "discounts" (in my case Military) are negotiable, you can haggle for a little more skimmed off the total if you're persistant enough. read more

Came in to have oil changed on the 2019 Mustang...took my vehicle had me wait inside. 1 bay open 4 guys on duty, 4 customers waiting. Made me wait 15 minutes to tell me "we can't do your oil change, we don't have your filter." So don't take your 2019 vehicles in...they're not ready for business. read more

I drive a fleet car. Recently stopped in for another oil change. Frustrating that they are always trying to upswell something. How about for once, just do what I ask for. Part of the oil change package they will clean the windows. I think they used the same rag to clean the dipstick first. I have smudges and smears all over the inside and outside of the windows. With the glare of the sun, makes it difficult to see at times. Now I have to go clean them myself. I won't be back. read more

Sexist, Bad Business and HIGHLY unprofessional, They Do NOT tell you everything. I went in to have my oil change, which went well at the time. The crew cleaned some corrosion off of my battery and topped off the coolant in my car. Sounds good right? WRONG. I had to drive shortly after my appointment there and while on the highway the bolt securing the drain point on my oil pan popped off and my entire car spilled oil on I-37. After speaking with the manager they claimed that they told my father what was wrong (the insertion point for the bolt was stripped) with MY CAR. Even if that was true (which it's not), none of them thought to tell me while they brought up how I should have my spark plugs changed at one of their "full service stations." Shouldn't they have brought up the stripped screw so I could go get it replaced at one of their "full service stations"? Or maybe they just didn't want to mention it to a woman because we obviously know nothing about cars. Either way, this place sucks, and some of the other reviews are very telling. Save your money and go next door to the Meineke. They're much more polite there anyway. read more

I have always gotten my inspections frOm jiffy lube Particularly this location off bandera road across from official inspection station between Huebner and eckhart rd I just wanted to give these guys working here a kudos and . They go the extra mile. Was told this location is under new management. And I felt the need to say awesome job THANK YOU!!! Going the extra mile. Even though I didn't have them change my cabin filter, cuz I'm a DIY kinda guy. they actually went as far as to check it and show me how corroded it was. This was Never done before from any place I've been and I really appreciated that. They inspect things above and beyond the state inspection. And yes I know they charge way more than it would cost to do it oneself. But just the idea that I now know what I need to do is an awesome heads up from them. Great Job Jiffy Lube. 100 STAR REVIEW! PLEASE READ! Super great experience! Liem greeted me outside with a smile, asked how he can help me. Took my keys are got started for an oil change. Jesse met me at the register, reviewed my vehicle needs line item by line item, explaining everything in detail in. Patient polite voice. Liem brought in my air filter to show the need but gave me the option to wait till next service. Jesse finalized my quote and worked with me purchasing my Groupon at the counter. He even stated they top off oil monthly up to 2 qts. My car was done within 10 mins, liem showed me the completed oil level stick. He also held the door for me as my car was now ready and waiting with the door open for me. I feel I made new friends. Another customer in the wait room also had an abundance of great things to say abt them. Wow. I never knew I could have had such a great experience. I've always been impressed with how I'm treated here. They greet you as soon as you pull up, they bring your car back out front and open the door for you when done, the techs are courteous and well-spoken, and the oil change is usually done in 15-20 mins (depending on how busy they are of course). Took my car for a oil change because it needed one badly. Not only did they charge me more than the Groupon I handed them but they never changed the oil. When I got home my car was leaking oil badly. I then took my car to a more reputable locally owned shop down the street and was told that the oil had never been touched. Run, don't walk from this and all Jiffy Lubes. Took my car in for a oil change. They give it back to me and it's running rough, idling wrong, and flashing "Reduced Engine Power" on the info screen. I show them what it's doing and they deny any wrong doing and offer no help. So I call Triple A for a tow truck. The driver comes out, and we research it a bit. Symptoms point to the throttle body. I pop the hood and sure enough a sensor was unplugged. I plug it in and it runs fine. Luckily no harm done, but highly unprofessional on JIffy Lube's part. Even if all you do is change oil, the employees need to have a little more knowledge and care around the vehicles they work on. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I took my Volkswagen to get my oil changed here. First off. Charged me $90 to change my oil. 2 weeks later my oil sensor came on. I took it BACK to the place they checked and said everything was fine. About a month later my oil pressure light and epc light started going off. I took it to a mechanic who told me that some idiot didn't put the lid back on the canister and it was leaking oil. There was almost NO oil left in my car. These monkeys don't know what the hell they're doing. Save yourself the hassle and money. Take you car somewhere else! read more

Honesty is really important to me. I came in today to get my 2017 Toyota Camry's oil changed. After speaking with an associate at their desk, he stated that we got the synthetic oil change the last time we were here and asked if that's what I wanted to do. My memory is often faulty or I simply forget simple transactions from 3-4 months ago. They completed the service topped off my anti-freeze at a very low cost and even cleaned my windows which I was very happy about. It wasn't until after receiving my bill and speaking with my wife, who's memory is far better than mine, over the phone that I remembered we had not taken this car to this location ever or any other Jiffy Lube location. Shame on me for believing an associates word regarding something as simple as an oil change but I believe honesty is a key factor to ensuring that customers are happy. I am not. I will not be taking my car or any other car that I own to this location ever again. I ended up spending double the price that I had when I had brought other cars to this location for the basic oil change. Beware to others that when visiting this location they will try to upsell you and lie to your face regarding your previous transactions. I've been to multiple jiffy lube locations for ether my car, or with family or friends for their own car. This has got to be the best one in San Antonio. I've had the best experience going to this location today. I may sound exaggerating, however they were that great at customer service. They kindly told me were to parked, held the door opened for me to get out of my car, walked to hold the door. And the man at the register was as well as kind and sweet with helping me pick a better oil for the oil change I was going in for. Not only that, but it took less then 15 mins which I was so surprised by. And when I left after paying they kindly parked my car elegantly at the front for me to leave AND to my uttermost shock,Vacuumed the front of my car. (Which they didn't have too, and I wasn't expecting it) literally the best jiffy lube in terms of timing, and excellent customer service. Will be coming for now own to this location. read more
