This location was top notch! When I pulled in for an oil change, I was exhausted from two days of driving and just wanted to get home. The men at this location were fantastic, they explained everything that they were doing, told me why I should do certain things (like check my air filter) and treated me as if I were a beloved family member. They loaded the experience enjoyable (never did I think I would say that about a LJ oil change!) they even joke with me when they found a bat in my car, I kid you not a bat! . I never once felt like they were upselling me anything, I felt like I was being taken care of. They even worked with me to see if there were coupons so I could save a little money! New to the area and took my SUV in to have the oil changed . Before the oil change I did not have an engine light warning . After the oil change I did. When I brought it to the attention of the service person , I was told nothing they did would have caused this. I pointed out I didn't have an engine warning light before and now I do! They told me to take it to an auto parts store and have the code cleared . I took it to a European auto mechanic and the oil heat sensor had been disconnected or knocked off ( they fixed the problem ) If you need your oil changed I would strongly suggest DO NOT TAKE IT TO TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE !!! took my car in for oil change and they wanted to change the coolant 5pm . During the coolant change they instructed me to turn the engine on with the aircon on full cool. Several minutes later the car's warning light all lit up and car shut off. They said start it again. Put new coolant in check levels in oil and antifreeze. Temp gage was paged at HOT. said all done ! tried to drive away but all warnings lights were lit. Pulled back in and they tried to fix it but Couldn't spoke with regional manager. Told me they would PUSH CAR into the parking lot and find another way home. just want my car fix. said they would call the police and have me arrested. Told them go ahead. Just got a oil change a week ago my car is a 2021 with low miles. I hear a noise as im driving to Florence i pull over to see my oil pan cover hanging with one zip tie melting off of it from the heat. They lost the screws to my pan evidently and while they was under there decided to zip tie rigging my car. I will seek a lawyer immediately. read more

Honestly if I could give it minus starts I would. Went in for a routine oil change and ended up with a whole lot of hell. First they tried charge me for a service they already did previously. Then two days after the oil change my truck started shaking when I started it. Thought it was nothing but once I drove down the road it was shaking like crazy and my oil light when on. I went home and oil was pouring out all over my driveway and my lawn. I had a training in Charleston that morning so my wife had them come out and saw that they didn't screw in the filter correctly. I wanted them to come back to clean it but after a few days attempts and multiple calls they still didn't get it out. My lawn is now dying, after spending good money getting it ready for summer. Now I'm in a battle trying to get them to pay and fix the damage. The manager Grant started off helpful but ended up rude and unprofessional. I'm now fighting with them to pay for the damage they caused and it's a nightmare. This place is extremely unprofessional, messy, and downright rude. Do not ever ever go there. read more

First off it does not take 5 minutes. I've gone twice and both times is has been over 40 min. Second, they are incompetent. They put my oil filter in upside down and caused a leak which ended up costing my over $200. This place is a waste of money. read more

They did not do the work that was part of the oil change package that I purchased. Questioned as to why they did not do these things, they lied and said that they had done them. I'm there all alone, I think I know if you checked and leveled all my tires, you did not. I asked again and they said they did, 4 times and 4 different ways I tried to get them to do the tire pressure, they compounded the lie with another lie about me driving around a while and the tire pressure changes and I would see it in the computer screen. I'm a woman of a certain age and I have put air in these tires before, the drive around part is a bunch of bull. You put air in and the tire monitor changes. The guy asked another guy standing there and he agreed that I should just drive around and the pressure monitors would change. Not how it works. Then they said if it didn't change, then my tire monitors were broken, please. I put air in a week ago, the monitors change immediately. Anyway, they are liars, and it was so disappointing to have that happen. Asked me to sign the service form, I did, but I won't be going back, they also did not clean my windshield. It's also part of the package. I was the only customer in the shop with 6 service guys. This service is bad, liars. If you are a woman, don't bother with this place. read more

When I showed up I was greeted with a bottle of water the employee was plenty nice but he never told me they were doing training and it would take longer than usual I pulled into the bay just to watch five guys working on one car and still nobody came up to me yet after a few minutes I'm waiting no acknowledgment I decided to leave now before one of their employees decided to walk in front of the car once again no communication I didn't realize he was making sure I didn't drive into the pit... obviously I was only doing less than 5 miles an hour apparently he felt threatened enough to tell me to get the fuck out and don't come back ni##er... of course I replied what the fuck did you say to me and he said you heard me trying to get me into a fight I know better though not at his place of business but this shouldn't have even been an issue... The manager on duty came up and apologized 1 million times saying that it will be brought to the owners attention but that was absolutely ridiculous I will never go back there and he still wanted to walk out into the parking lot as I was leaving and try to get me to fight him again... Do not go to these snake oil salesman.First off,it takes longer than 5 minutes.Secondly,the whole time you are sitting there they are trying to upsell you with coolant flushes,air filters,wiper blades,and cabin air filters.They tell you your vehicle will require the $100 dollar oil change because that's what your motor requires,then they'll tell you they recommend using the $25 oil filter that was "handpicked" just for that oil!What a load of crap.They told me I needed a coolant flush because my coolant was darker than what it should be,and it was time due to my mileage.Little did they know I just had it done probably a year ago because I got a new radiator.My oil change cost $100 for fully synthetic high mileage,only for it to be good for 3000 miles?Come on man. save yourself a headache, some money, and have a piece of mind and go to Black's Tire and auto.It may not be 5 minutes,but they aren't out to get the money in your wallet by lying to you. read more

This is my first time to come to this place, and I regret it . Terrible customer service! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! One guy was even mocking me because I was playing on my mobile phone. Like if they haven't started doing anything in my car, I would have left!!! This is my first time to come to this please and I regret it! not a good place to make business with!!! asking me what kind of oil do I use in my car and I had to answer him three times because he wasn't paying attention as he was talking to his colleagues. Everytime I have gone to them they have gone above and beyond to help me. I have a older then 20 yr old vehicle, during a routine oil change my dipstick broke, (I'm sure it is the age of the vehicle) and they didn't hesitate to order a new one and install it.
