This sushi joint is a small spot tucked away in a shopping center where Tire Choice (GoodYear) is located. It's easily missed but a really nice spot if you are craving sushi that won't hurt your budget. We love sushi and I would compare it close to Domo Sushi down the street. As far as price and variety. They do have different discounts for certain rolls. You still get a discount even if you take it to go but less of a % off. I would not say it's high end sushi but hits the spot when you are craving some sushi and on a budget. We love spider rolls in general but wasn't impressed with theirs. But all their other specialty rolls are all equally delicious and the rice to sushi ratio is just right. (Though sometimes depending on the sushi chef we noticed sometimes they go heavy on the rice) Our kids actually love their teriyaki chicken or their bento boxes which is a great option for non sushi lovers. It was close to closing and we always feel bad ordering last minute because we know most business like to clean up and close up. The only time I've gone to Takka has been through takeout since the pandemic started, and I simply can't wait for things to open back up again so I can dine in here. This is one of the most authentic sushi places around! One of favorite things to get are the hamachi Kama (grilled yellowtail cheek) which they sell out of every night, so they always have to check if they still have it when you call. I got the salmon teriyaki dinner entree that comes with a miso soup, salad, and two gyoza. The salmon was delicious. There are some places that has salty teriyaki sauce but this sauce wasn't. It looked lighter and it was different to me but I liked it. I also got the salmon skin roll that was also really good! My niece and daughter ate the same thing I got and they enjoyed it.
