I stopped by after seeing the hype online, but overall, the experience didn't live up to expectations. As soon as I arrived, there was a line out the door. The space is extremely limited--only about two to three tables inside and a couple outside--so it feels crowded and a bit chaotic. With how popular this place has become, the setup just doesn't accommodate the volume of customers very well. First off, the prices are on the higher side. I paid around $40 for two large drinks and a torta. The torta itself was $14, but the al pastor meat inside lacked flavor and didn't stand out. Honestly, you're better off grabbing tacos from a good street vendor--they tend to have more authentic flavor at a better price. As for the flautas, they didn't look like what's shown on TikTok. They are very large portions, which could be a plus for some, but it's a lot of food--definitely too much if you're not someone who eats big meals. I wasn't able to finish mine. The drink also missed the mark; it tasted more like a mix of lemonade and strawberry rather than something well-balanced. Other downsides: long wait times, dirty tables, and it's hard to hear your number being called if you're waiting outside. One positive note--the music inside while waiting was enjoyable and added a nice vibe. Overall, I'd rate this place a 3.6 out of 5. It didn't meet my expectations, and I wouldn't return.

Last visit 03-22-26. Been passing this spot for the past 9 yrs. Came once for some some asada tacos but that's its. Everything was made fresh to go. The food was great. Better than I expected. The birria was tender and flavorful. The consomé was also good. The service was great. The cashier was polite and professional. He was very patient as I looked over the menu and when placing my order. Restaurant is small. Seating is available outside and inside tho. It was clean and real chill. Not a lot of ppl but it was busy. I would definitely return for the trio.

I saw this place on Instagram, and had to try it. It's a small joint with just two indoor tables and one outdoor table. Came there for lunch on a weekday and got an inside table. Ordered their flautas Ahogadas, taquitos, and Birria taco. Everything was made fresh and was so bomb. The flautas and taquitos were so crunchy and tender inside from the meat. My favorite dish of the day was the birria taco. There's already so much flavor in the taco meat, but the consomme takes it over the edge. I could order another. Another thing worth mentioning is that their salsa are super super bomb. The workers are warm, and make your food fast. Recommend a visit.

Been driving past this place for quite some time and heard it was good!! so hard to choose from all the items, decided on the torta Cubana!! the torta Cubana comes with milanesa, ham, hotdog, cheese and egg. Heard about Takos from TikTok & decided to give it a try. We initially went on a Saturday night & it was an hour and 45 minute wait. That was actually crazy so we decided to go back on a weekday, a Tuesday, right when they opened. That was probably the smartest thing we could have done. The first time we went we both got Asada tortas and they were so delicious. This was my first and only time trying one, and I definitely recommend it. The Asada tacos were just regular, the Asada burrito was just regular, nothing special. We also got the giant flautas Taquito type things. They were sooooo good. I don't even like sour cream and they have sour cream on them and I devoured them! I believe they were chicken and potato. They come in this sauce, the sauce was so delicious! It was like cabbage inside the sauce. Honestly, you can just eat the cabbage in the sauce, it was giving vegan pozole, that's how good it was. They could probably put that on the menu and serve that just by itself, but that all together dipped in the flautas was delicious. Every time I've been back, I either get the torta or the flautas definitely recommend just be conscious of the certain times and days that you go because there will be a wait.

Me and my brother were looking for a place to eat on Rosecrans and bellflower blvd. and we came across this small little gem. It's probably one of the smallest restaurants in this intersection and it is a Birria taco restaurant. Claims it is Tijuana authentic. And the flavors prove it. And the made with beef not goat meat so it's really really enjoyable. Like I mentioned it is small. There's probably 6 chairs inside the restaurant and 8 chairs outside of it. That is it. I made my food to go. From the looks of it, everybody was making their order to go. In the time that I ordered and received my food there was a lot of people coming in. Everything taste good their salsa are very spicy. All that food you can easily feed three people total was $67. I gotta say this was pretty good and I will be returning for the rest of the menu.

Heard about Takos on IG, although I've driven past several times. There was quite a line due to the post I saw being on IG and Tik Tok. Takos is located in a strip mall that has plenty of parking. There are two tables inside and two outside. Small place, mostly for carry out orders. The cashier was friendly and not too phased by the surge of guests. He filled the self-serve salsa, lemon and cucumber station when I advised him here were out of cucumbers. I ordered what I saw on IG: Flautas Ahogadas. I ordered to go because the inside only seats 6 and the tables were full. Flautas were potato and pork. They were quite large and I could only eat 2. They were tasty and crispy. The flavor of the consume was ok and I enjoyed the cabbage and vegetables that were served with the dish (as well as the sliced cucumbers). Enjoyable meal and leftovers. Not crave-able enough for me to go back for that dish. I may try something else if in the area.

Tried Takos and had a really great experience overall. The service here is super friendly and welcoming -- easily one of the highlights of the visit. I ordered the flautas ahogadas and a shrimp taco. The flautas were delicious, topped with salsa, cheese, and lettuce, and packed with a beef-and-potato filling. I actually liked the potato in there, though it does feel a bit like filler -- and while the dish was really good, it's a little on the pricey side. The shrimp taco, on the other hand, was excellent and easily my favorite bite of the meal. The spot itself is small but very clean, tucked into a small lot, and feels well taken care of. Overall, great food, standout service, and a place I'd happily come back to -- especially for those shrimp tacos.

I've been here a few times since my initial review and what I can tell you definitively is that they take a very long time to make and serve your food. Even if you order ahead , avg about 20 mins after scheduled pick up time. All the take out drivers are upset as we all wait.

Literally a hole in the wall. Very tiny place but with very delicious food. When we got there around 1 pm there was a little line. Like moved fairly quickly by ready to wait a little for your food, it does take a little. The food is amazing. We tried ordering birria items but they were sold out already, so instead we ordered their famous Flautas Ahogas 10/10. Probably my favorite item I tried, warm, delicious and just great flavor. We also ordered the Tijuana torta 10/10, very tasty and delicious. The Gringa was delicious too. No complaints highly recommend visiting this spot. Amazing and delicious food.

Great food - horrible customer service. If you see a guy named "Hector" working the cash register, just turn around and walk out. This jerk is rude and more concerned about what's going on with his phone, then greeting a customer and getting the order right. And to top it off, he almost gave my order away to someone else! Luckily, my wife spotted it and called him on it. Instead of an apology, we got a disgusted look from Hector. Like we're in the wrong for wanting the food that we ordered. "Hey Hector, put the phone down and do your job!" Now, with all that being said, I give a hat tip to the cooks. Those guys are awesome! The carne asada burrito was fire! Tacos de lengua - excellent! And the torta was very tasty. In my younger days, I would have choked Hector out. Now, I'll just avoid the place if he's there. read more

Food here is very delicious. The Taco Fundido is highly recommended. It's a solid taco with cheese, chipotle sauce, meat, avocado, and cilantro/onion. The asada is good not great (I prefer a grilled taste). My only critique is the cost. They are costly tacos but the taste compensates. read more

This is the spot if your looking for keto tacos. Has flavor in every bite. It has a cheese only tortilla no corn, asada, tomatoes, cilantro and onion. Fondido taco was awesome, tortilla with cheese shrimp and Serrano pepper with chipotle sauce. All the food was very fulling, and sabor de Mexico!! Try this spot for take out. Hadn't been here in a while, but decided to go today and remind myself what their takos tasted like. The takos were delicious as well as the green salsa and the strawberry and lemon agua. I'm very picky when it comes to my tacos and I hate having to chew on pieces of fats, however this was not the case here which I loved. Will definitely be coming back to try their other menu items. Their interior is very nice too, it's been remodeled since the last time I came and it was nice to see the upgrade My boyfriend was a fan too, he said their takos tasted homemade. If you are in Keto diet like me for a while and craving tacos, you are in a treat! Ordered three Keto Tacos with Asada, Cabeza, and Lengua. All the meat and flavoring was good. I would recommend your Keto Tacos consumption to 1 or 2 Tacos though. First few bites will almost make you tear up because you missed Tacos so much, but toward the end of first tacos you feel like tortilla made with Cheese is too salty and greasy for the taste. I hesitated to start second Tacos, and by the Third tacos I wasn't having it. So for me this will be emergency Taco run when I really really crave Tacos during Keto. Being a small space (barely noticeable) and surrounded by bigger taco shops, Tacos Puebla tends to get overlooked by the crowds. I've done so myself for years. On a taco run I finally gave this place a shot and enjoyed every bit of what I tasted. An easy kick to myself for passing it up over the years. I ordered the tacos fundido which is similar to tacos vampiro with the exception of the cheese being fried on the shell rather than melted. I can't speak for anyone else but I love the flavor of fried cheese and it adds a completely different taste to the tacos. It also gives a good crunch. The meats themselves (carne asada, chicken, al pastor, and chorizo) were tasty with the chicken and chorizo being the best of the four. I also like the chopped grilled jalapenos served on the tacos. Adds a small but nice kick. The tacos fundido are worth giving a shot if you're in the area. I'll be trying other items from the menu eventually but will definitely be back for more tacos. This place is a tiny store front shop. The tacos are so delicious Ans the orange color salsa is so damn good. The tacos fundidos are so delicious. Las flautas super crunchy and so good. The horchata is so delicious. I didn't like the agua de pepino, but that won't keep me from going back. I've already been there twice in a week. This is a place to try for sure. read more

This place is near my job and was recommended to me to try it out. So I went on my lunch time and I got the wet burrito with carne asada. I got both green and red sauce. The plate comes with tortilla chips which is freshly made. And everything was so good! I'm a foodie girl so I was full and happy with the meal. Customer service is excellent as well. (This was about two months ago) Well lets see, was in the mood for tacos and thought, "lets try some new place" and came across this place in my searches. Placed an online order, said itd be ready in 20 minutes (SCORE! cuz I live about 8 mins away) so I go about to get ready and go pick up my food. get there and wait in line (not an issue, lines everywhere) and once I get to the front, I tell em my name and im told its not ready (seeing how i speak spanish I hear the guy say "we havent even started that order." ) So i look up and say "you havent? the order says 20 mins" to which im told, "it'll take 45 minutes" had no choice but to wait since my card had already been charged. I went back out to my car and waited. After 35 minutes I went up to see about gettting the drinks so i can drink something and im told its ready. ok then. get my food and a drink. I had ordered 2 large drinks with the food and they said "Are you sure?" serious? come on man. show them the order and then it turns out the didnt have one of the drinks (aguas frescas run out, I know so thats ok) took longer than i expected. sad to say, the food was good. Oh my goodness, I was impressed by this hole in the wall place. Tucked in the corner of rosecrans and bellflower, this place is in a little plaza with other places that are either out of business or closed during the time I went. First impression, place was tiny and was afraid it wouldn't be good, but after tasting the food, I was sold on coming back. Between my husband and I, we got 6 tacos (pastor and tripe for me, beef, pastor, chicken, chorizo for him) and my favorite was definitely the tripe. It was crunchy on the outside and super flavorful. As far as condiments, they had 3 kinds of salsa, cucumber, onion mixed with bell peppers, and radish. Loved it, but wish there were more choices! I also wished they didn't run out of horchata, but will try again next time. Again, so glad we found this place and will definitely be back! read more

My fiancé and I found this gem on yelp. We had some business to attend to at the Cerritos Mall that time. I yelped some keto-friendly places and stumbled upon this place. We ordered the super asada nachos and keto-friendly tacos (queso asada/pastor tacos) though it's $3.75 a piece, it was so worth it, very filling and so good. I honestly go here like once a week, the pastor gringa taco is bomb and the cemitas are amazing. I've had their regular tacos de pastor and asada, there asada fries and nachos.. honestly this place can not disappoint! Oh and don't forget the guac salsa !! Be careful of the orange/red habernero salsa -- it has a kick that creeps up on you! The line can get fairly long and they do a good amount of take-out. However, the line moves pretty fast, and they assemble the tacos to order. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other menu items and the agua fresca!

They have a bunch of TVs and will usually have the game on if there is one. There's also a lot of street parking and free parking lots around since it's Downtown Bellflower. Quick heads-up though: the photo shows 2 takos and the name reads "camarón Takos," which honestly made me think I was getting a pair -- so that's the only reason I'm holding back that fifth star! I also added a carne asada taco for $3.75. I placed my order at 12:25pm with a 1:00pm pickup time -- seemed like a stretch for lunch, but hey, it was peak hour! I showed up at 12:45 and my food was already waiting for me. Oh, and don't sleep on the salsa bar -- definitely grab some on your way out! The spot is modern and super clean, with a cozy vibe -- just 2 small tables inside and 2 outside, so it's a cute little gem! Now the FOOD -- the camarón tako came with cabbage and this amazing orange sauce, and the flavor was absolutely incredible! Came across this place on Postmates and they are bomb! They have Quesa tacos which is a fried cheese shell instead of a tortilla shell which is different and delicious! I loved the taco fundido, chipotle salsa and poblanos peppers made it tasty! Also carnitas is my favorite and instead of shredded they have diced pieces which are crispy and not dry at all! I wanted it all in my mouth, twss. I think the only things they fall short on is the horchata and the salsas. But I think the quality food items make up for that. I tried this new place and I actually found the best whole in the wall they have the best CEMITAS with lots of quesillo. I personally tried the Milanesa and it was Bomb. To top if off I ordered the Quesa tacos and just made my mouth revolt in flavor the cheese shell its so crunchy and tasty; their meat is so flavorful i tried asada to die for. Wow, have to say, much impressed with the food! Got some tacos, both asada and chicken, and we loved them! The carne asada was very tasty! The chicken was a little plain, but when you dress them up with that red sauce, the tacos sing! The red sauce is a bit smoky, with the right amount of spiciness! The have 2 small tables inside and 2 others (one that fits 2 and another that fits 4) outside. Don't come in expecting to get a table. I don't know how to rate this place. The food here is good, but the language barrier with the staff can make ordering a challenge, especially if there isn't someone bilingual around to help. I've tried the tacos fundidos, mulitas (huge amount of food) and gringas all highly recommended.
