I stopped by after seeing the hype online, but overall, the experience didn't live up to expectations. As soon as I arrived, there was a line out the door. The space is extremely limited--only about two to three tables inside and a couple outside--so it feels crowded and a bit chaotic. With how popular this place has become, the setup just doesn't accommodate the volume of customers very well. First off, the prices are on the higher side. I paid around $40 for two large drinks and a torta. The torta itself was $14, but the al pastor meat inside lacked flavor and didn't stand out. Honestly, you're better off grabbing tacos from a good street vendor--they tend to have more authentic flavor at a better price. As for the flautas, they didn't look like what's shown on TikTok. They are very large portions, which could be a plus for some, but it's a lot of food--definitely too much if you're not someone who eats big meals. I wasn't able to finish mine. The drink also missed the mark; it tasted more like a mix of lemonade and strawberry rather than something well-balanced. Other downsides: long wait times, dirty tables, and it's hard to hear your number being called if you're waiting outside. One positive note--the music inside while waiting was enjoyable and added a nice vibe. Overall, I'd rate this place a 3.6 out of 5. It didn't meet my expectations, and I wouldn't return.

Last visit 03-22-26. Been passing this spot for the past 9 yrs. Came once for some some asada tacos but that's its. Everything was made fresh to go. The food was great. Better than I expected. The birria was tender and flavorful. The consomé was also good. The service was great. The cashier was polite and professional. He was very patient as I looked over the menu and when placing my order. Restaurant is small. Seating is available outside and inside tho. It was clean and real chill. Not a lot of ppl but it was busy. I would definitely return for the trio.

I saw this place on Instagram, and had to try it. It's a small joint with just two indoor tables and one outdoor table. Came there for lunch on a weekday and got an inside table. Ordered their flautas Ahogadas, taquitos, and Birria taco. Everything was made fresh and was so bomb. The flautas and taquitos were so crunchy and tender inside from the meat. My favorite dish of the day was the birria taco. There's already so much flavor in the taco meat, but the consomme takes it over the edge. I could order another. Another thing worth mentioning is that their salsa are super super bomb. The workers are warm, and make your food fast. Recommend a visit.

Heard about Takos from TikTok & decided to give it a try. We initially went on a Saturday night & it was an hour and 45 minute wait. That was actually crazy so we decided to go back on a weekday, a Tuesday, right when they opened. That was probably the smartest thing we could have done. The first time we went we both got Asada tortas and they were so delicious. This was my first and only time trying one, and I definitely recommend it. The Asada tacos were just regular, the Asada burrito was just regular, nothing special. We also got the giant flautas Taquito type things. They were sooooo good. I don't even like sour cream and they have sour cream on them and I devoured them! I believe they were chicken and potato. They come in this sauce, the sauce was so delicious! It was like cabbage inside the sauce. Honestly, you can just eat the cabbage in the sauce, it was giving vegan pozole, that's how good it was. They could probably put that on the menu and serve that just by itself, but that all together dipped in the flautas was delicious. Every time I've been back, I either get the torta or the flautas definitely recommend just be conscious of the certain times and days that you go because there will be a wait.

Me and my brother were looking for a place to eat on Rosecrans and bellflower blvd. and we came across this small little gem. It's probably one of the smallest restaurants in this intersection and it is a Birria taco restaurant. Claims it is Tijuana authentic. And the flavors prove it. And the made with beef not goat meat so it's really really enjoyable. Like I mentioned it is small. There's probably 6 chairs inside the restaurant and 8 chairs outside of it. That is it. I made my food to go. From the looks of it, everybody was making their order to go. In the time that I ordered and received my food there was a lot of people coming in. Everything taste good their salsa are very spicy. All that food you can easily feed three people total was $67. I gotta say this was pretty good and I will be returning for the rest of the menu.

Heard about Takos on IG, although I've driven past several times. There was quite a line due to the post I saw being on IG and Tik Tok. Takos is located in a strip mall that has plenty of parking. There are two tables inside and two outside. Small place, mostly for carry out orders. The cashier was friendly and not too phased by the surge of guests. He filled the self-serve salsa, lemon and cucumber station when I advised him here were out of cucumbers. I ordered what I saw on IG: Flautas Ahogadas. I ordered to go because the inside only seats 6 and the tables were full. Flautas were potato and pork. They were quite large and I could only eat 2. They were tasty and crispy. The flavor of the consume was ok and I enjoyed the cabbage and vegetables that were served with the dish (as well as the sliced cucumbers). Enjoyable meal and leftovers. Not crave-able enough for me to go back for that dish. I may try something else if in the area.

Tried Takos and had a really great experience overall. The service here is super friendly and welcoming -- easily one of the highlights of the visit. I ordered the flautas ahogadas and a shrimp taco. The flautas were delicious, topped with salsa, cheese, and lettuce, and packed with a beef-and-potato filling. I actually liked the potato in there, though it does feel a bit like filler -- and while the dish was really good, it's a little on the pricey side. The shrimp taco, on the other hand, was excellent and easily my favorite bite of the meal. The spot itself is small but very clean, tucked into a small lot, and feels well taken care of. Overall, great food, standout service, and a place I'd happily come back to -- especially for those shrimp tacos.

I've been here a few times since my initial review and what I can tell you definitively is that they take a very long time to make and serve your food. Even if you order ahead , avg about 20 mins after scheduled pick up time. All the take out drivers are upset as we all wait.

Literally a hole in the wall. Very tiny place but with very delicious food. When we got there around 1 pm there was a little line. Like moved fairly quickly by ready to wait a little for your food, it does take a little. The food is amazing. We tried ordering birria items but they were sold out already, so instead we ordered their famous Flautas Ahogas 10/10. Probably my favorite item I tried, warm, delicious and just great flavor. We also ordered the Tijuana torta 10/10, very tasty and delicious. The Gringa was delicious too. No complaints highly recommend visiting this spot. Amazing and delicious food.

This place is so flavorful and good. Honestly, I've visited this place and ordered delivery a few times and have had different items and it's kept the same Consistent amazing flavor. I've had the keto taco which is fire! The wet burrito which is cool, and the nachos which is the best item so far. Can't wait to try the surf and turf fries and the whole Shabang fries. Got the California burrito twice here now. First time with Asada, then Pastor. Both times the burrito flavor and portio were fantastic, but the QUALITY of MEAT is 1/10. Extremely fatty, half meat half fat. Whoever is buying the meat is clearly trying save money and buy the cheapest cuts of meat at the market. I have never eaten burritos with such low quality meat before in my life. Twice (pork & beef) is not a coincidence. I would recommend going somewhere that uses more quality ingredients. read more

In an effort like everyone else my resolution for the. New year was to get on track and Keto has helped me in the past. Forgot to bring my lunch and searched Keto on DoorDash and Takos came up. I decided to give it a shot and I have to tell you I'm beyond impressed. I'm in Whittier and this business is in Bellflower. Heated up my food once it got here and it was amazing. I'm he portions on the keto taco was huge I should have ordered only one for sure. I was disappointed with the fundidos because it had a tortilla but I'll eat the topping later. I love this place, they have good tacos and amazing keto tacos. If you are doing keto, come here for the tacos, you will not be disappointed, other than Rubios, this place knows how to make amazing keto tacos. The flautas and regular tacos are good as well, I have enjoyed those also. The alambre is good as well as the tortas. The mulitas are pretty thick though, that is the only thing I probably would not get again. I skip various taco shops from Norwalk to this place to come to this one, thats how good it is. read more

My first time at this place. A small little place. A friend recommended saying the tako Fundidos here are really good. I had to try it! Ordered the asada and shrimp Tako Fundidos. Looking for a new taco place we decided to try Takos out. The pictures of the keto tacos and quesdillas is what caught my attention. At first sight the prices seemed a little high for most of the items. We ordered a keto quesdilla, keto taco, regular quesdilla, Cubana torta and super fries. The portions were pretty big. The Keto quesdillas was delicious and had alot of flavor. It came with a side of guacamole and sour cream that added even more flavor and to my suprise a side of Chipotle sauce that went well with the food especially the super fries. The queso taco was huge and juicy at first bite. The Cubana torta had good flavor. We chose the super fries with pastor and although the pastor was a little to dry for my liking, mixed with the guacamole, cheese, pico and fries it made for a delicious plate. Oh we also had an horchata which was good and not to watered-down like most places. Overall I give Takos 5 stars because I enjoyed my meal very much without any regrets. read more

Ordered through yelp a delivery when they supposedly open at 10am. Got confirmation as well as a message that it was out for delivery. Then got a call from Grubhub that the order was cancelled. Was confused since no reason was given and tried calling the restaurant no answer. I say update your hours you are opened so that I don't wait an hour for food that isn't going to be delivered. read more

The place is Tiny you can't hardly eat there. Order ahead because even on a Saturday they have 2 people working 1 chef and 1 but fling register and food . The register guy is so monotone and slow . Moves talk and responds super slow. Food looks and smells decent ; I ordered birria ramen and literally there was people ordering food before me and getting it . It's ramen should be a prep not full on cook item. Don't go here on lunch and expect to be out on time 20 min for ramen plus it had cheese in it . Wasn't good to me but someone else may like. Wow I was blown away. Such great flavor. Especially since everything is made from scratch! I ordered the mulita with cabeza for lunch. DANG THAT WAS GREAT! Had to bring my wife here the same day for dinner. She's a big potato taco fan. She LOVED them. I wanted her to try the mulita so I ordered one with carnitas. Ohhhh man I was in hog heaven. The only down side I can say is that the seating is limited to only 3 tables and it was cold inside. I'm sure if I asked for the fan to be turned down they would have. Oh. They have a great fresh guacamole salsa at their salsa bar. When we came for dinner the tray was empty. I asked for more and he said, "sorry I'll make some more sleight now." He sure did. I heard the blender and 2 minutes later there it was!!! Bravo!!! read more

Birria taco: this one made me sad. It was my least favorite and I love Birria. It lacked flavor the meat was chewy even with the salsa and lemon, I hated it. There were a few bits of fat in the meat that I spit out, but overall it was pretty good. The guacamole sauce is really good, and they're very generous with it. I enjoyed their green salsa as well. Be careful of the orange/red habernero salsa -- it has a kick that creeps up on you! The line can get fairly long and they do a good amount of take-out. However, the line moves pretty fast, and they assemble the tacos to order. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other menu items and the agua fresca!

The staff was attentive and quick to accommodate anything we needed. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. While indoor seating is limited, there is ample outdoor seating. Overall, Papis Tacos and Churros was an unexpected gem that delivered on great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. They have a bunch of TVs and will usually have the game on if there is one. There's also a lot of street parking and free parking lots around since it's Downtown Bellflower. Quick heads-up though: the photo shows 2 takos and the name reads "camarón Takos," which honestly made me think I was getting a pair -- so that's the only reason I'm holding back that fifth star! I also added a carne asada taco for $3.75. I placed my order at 12:25pm with a 1:00pm pickup time -- seemed like a stretch for lunch, but hey, it was peak hour! I showed up at 12:45 and my food was already waiting for me. Oh, and don't sleep on the salsa bar -- definitely grab some on your way out! The spot is modern and super clean, with a cozy vibe -- just 2 small tables inside and 2 outside, so it's a cute little gem! Now the FOOD -- the camarón tako came with cabbage and this amazing orange sauce, and the flavor was absolutely incredible! The tortilla was different than the usual -- looks like it was grilled with cheese -- and it gave the whole thing such a fun, delicious twist! The carne asada taco was just as amazing! Came across this place on Postmates and they are bomb! They have Quesa tacos which is a fried cheese shell instead of a tortilla shell which is different and delicious! I loved the taco fundido, chipotle salsa and poblanos peppers made it tasty! Also carnitas is my favorite and instead of shredded they have diced pieces which are crispy and not dry at all! I wanted it all in my mouth, twss. I think the only things they fall short on is the horchata and the salsas. But I think the quality food items make up for that. I tried this new place and I actually found the best whole in the wall they have the best CEMITAS with lots of quesillo. I personally tried the Milanesa and it was Bomb. To top if off I ordered the Quesa tacos and just made my mouth revolt in flavor the cheese shell its so crunchy and tasty; their meat is so flavorful i tried asada to die for. Wow, have to say, much impressed with the food! Got some tacos, both asada and chicken, and we loved them! The carne asada was very tasty! The chicken was a little plain, but when you dress them up with that red sauce, the tacos sing! The red sauce is a bit smoky, with the right amount of spiciness! This place is good! They do take long to give you your food, but it is worth the wait. Took about 20 min for me to get Takos and a torta. The have 2 small tables inside and 2 others (one that fits 2 and another that fits 4) outside. Don't come in expecting to get a table. I don't know how to rate this place. The food here is good, but the language barrier with the staff can make ordering a challenge, especially if there isn't someone bilingual around to help. There's a ton of taco places around here, but tacos puebla is always on point. Good food and fair prices. I've tried the tacos fundidos, mulitas (huge amount of food) and gringas all highly recommended.
