Pretty awesome carne asada fries here. Great, tasty portions at a fair price. Fries do get soggy though, as they are below all the toppings (i.e. guac, meats, sauces, etc). Be sure to eat it quick!

Thank you to Carmen and her husband for taking care of mom and dad for the last 10 years. such great authentic mexican dishes and pico de gallo spot that I could have sworn my grandma and aunties were in the kitchen....

Dirty fingernails you see is the cook that is cooking your food. DOES NOT WASH HIS HANDS.

FOOD POISONING FROM ENCHILADAS PLATE & ASADA FRIES. They also charged my card 31.18 when my recite that I signed for was for 25.98. Giving themselves a 6 dollar tip which I did not sign for. I've attached pics for you to see, and the cook that was cooking has dirty fingernails which means he does NOT wash his hands. They also were not wearing mask the both times I was inside, dirty dirty dirty. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Or go if you want your money stolen and food poisoning.

New prices, check it out!

This place is pretty good. I've ate here a couple times and it never disappoints. They recently changed their prices so make sure to take a look..especially if you've been here before!

I passed by one night and decided to give it a try the very next day, which I did. I ordered the mole and to my surprise they had it and was so good it reminded me of my mom's. Can you believe it? You know good mole is very hard to find. Some places either tell you they don't have it or it is too bitter or tasteless or you name it. I went back the next day and tried something else and was very good too. I'm giving 4 stars because the third time I went I ordered the steak and eggs and honestly the steak was very thin, elastic and savorless. Other than that.... I like the place and will give it another chance.

I found this little gem by accident over 10 years ago. The same family is running it. I really enjoy their food.

This is our go-to street taco place. We love the al pastor and papusas! The salsa is great and Carmen (the owner) is the sweetest.

I miss talas! I went to high school down the street at Narbonne and after school a wet chicken burrito would always be amazing. So delicious

Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the carne asada and carnitas, and both were amazing. The meat was tender, flavorful, and not fatty at all just perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. My daughter had the bean and cheese burrito with rice and beans and loved it too. They bring out three different salsas with the chips, and each one had its own unique flavor. You can tell the chips are house-made because they're fresh, crisp, and just really good. Some Mexican restaurants can make things overly salty, but everything here tasted balanced and fresh. I also had a Paloma and it was made perfectly. Before we left we decided to try the churros and I'm so glad we did. They were filled with this amazing cream and came with a caramel sauce for dipping. I'm not usually a big dessert person, but these were seriously incredible. Great location, great service, amazing food, and everything tasted fresh and well made. We will definitely be back!

Got the fajitas that came with shrimp, chicken and beef and flour tortilla. It's a bit expensive but comes with a lot of food that you can split with 2 people. Also includes chips with small guac/salsa. As for the food itself, the chicken was a bit dry. Didn't really like the flavor of the shrimp. The beef, veggies and rice were good. The salsa and guac didn't have much flavor. Might need to come back and try something different next time.

We sat at a table for 6, there were only 2 of us, but if we were asked, we would have happily welcomed others - community tables are a great way to meet folks. The menu is simple, all the options that are typically found on a Mexican restaurant menu. We happened to dine on the day where birria was the special; birria plate or quesa birria tacos. I opted for the tacos. They're served tacos only, I ordered a side of beans. My bestie had chicken taquitos, served with rice and beans. The salsa fresca was good, not spicy though. We asked for other salsa options and our server brought us their salsa verde and their spicy salsa. The salsa verde wasn't at all spicy, and the flavor was forgettable. The spicy salsa, which they sell in glass bottles will put hair on your chest. We added it to everything to kick things up a bit. It was good, and hot. Just the way we like. The food was fresh, and it filled our bellies...I just don't think it was good enough for us to make the short drive. Our local favorite spot wins the flavor profile on the quesa birria tacos and it's close to home . Service was speedy even though there was only one server. But again, the place started filling and by the time we were ready to pay, the server was juggling priorities.

I felt kind of guilty knowing that based on the price, there can't be much of a profit margin, but she still made me the special with a smile and enthusiasm. Of course she adamantly refused to take it and almost chased me to try to get me to take the change. I didn't. I actually wanted to leave her a 20. She's got a customer for life. The food is bland, the ingredients haven't tasted fresh, and the overall quality seems fairly low. The service and atmosphere haven't been very welcoming either. The food isn't good enough to overlook the unfriendly and uncomfortable atmosphere, and I don't plan on returning. There are better options nearby.
