Tried calling to place a pickup order and was directed straight to voicemail. I decided to drive there and order. Turns out, the cashier woman was using the restaurant phone to talk her family. *facepalm* While ordering, I asked for two asada fries. My order came out and she gave me two asada tacos. She kept insisting I said tacos and I was like noo. If she wasn't gossiping on the phone while taking my order she would've heard me correctly. She was nice about it and the food was good so I'm not mad about it. I just thought the whole phone thing was kinda unprofessional. The fries were huge and only $9. Pretty awesome carne asada fries here. Great, tasty portions at a fair price. Fries do get soggy though, as they are below all the toppings (i.e. guac, meats, sauces, etc). Be sure to eat it quick! read more

Let me just say that this place is gross Dusty dirty dark. In the food tastes old! Like just old I wouldn't even eat it if it was free!

My husband and I got a couple burritos from there. Besides the fact we paid almost $17 for each of them there was hardly any ingredients in it. My husband was specific about what he wanted and they added none of these, which was pretty common for Burrito to have, onions, cilantro cheese! I don't even know where to begin. Going thru some hard times at home, so for the past two Fridays I have been taking walks. I've seen Tala's, but I never thought to order even tho I live very close. Boy was I mistaken. Tala's is absolutely wonderful. I've now had it two Fridays in a row and BOTH times it had been noting short of excellent. I've had carne asada (grilled fresh on site) burritos both weeks and tonight I treated myself to a quesadilla. OMG. So fabulous. The spicy salsa is obviously made fresh and it packs a kick! I can only say in these difficult times, please support your local businesses. This is OBVIOUSLY family run and they are nothing short of spectacular. On Friday nights Talas rolls up the taco cart and starts burning meat. Cheap, super tasty tacos of pork, carne and sausage. They also crank out fresh Papusas if that is your thing. Tacos are $1.35+ and the Pastor pork with pineapple is my favorite. I have not been inside to eat, but would certainly try it. read more

FOOD POISONING FROM ENCHILADAS PLATE & ASADA FRIES. They also charged my card 31.18 when my recite that I signed for was for 25.98. Giving themselves a 6 dollar tip which I did not sign for. I've attached pics for you to see, and the cook that was cooking has dirty fingernails which means he does NOT wash his hands. They also were not wearing mask the both times I was inside, dirty dirty dirty. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Or go if you want your money stolen and food poisoning. read more

I passed by one night and decided to give it a try the very next day, which I did. I ordered the mole and to my surprise they had it and was so good it reminded me of my mom's. Can you believe it? You know good mole is very hard to find. Some places either tell you they don't have it or it is too bitter or tasteless or you name it. I went back the next day and tried something else and was very good too. I'm giving 4 stars because the third time I went I ordered the steak and eggs and honestly the steak was very thin, elastic and savorless. Other than that.... This place is a hidden gem in the South Bay area which looks like a hole in a wall absolutely me delicious street tacos served at night. They even have the street tacos outside their parking lot just like if you would go to downtown LA or I have Spanish neighborhood. It can be deceiving from the outside but their tacos are excellent and made on the spot. To bed they don't have any alcoholic beverages. read more

This was an awful experience wanted to try o e of those small restaurants that sell Tacos on a cart . Walked up to the men and asked them if they can cook fresh meat as the one on the grill looked as if it had been sitting there for a while and looked burnt and hard meat. The man refused to cook anymore untill the old meat sitting on the Grill was gone. The inside was dirty , in need of cleaning. Not good service or food. read more

I can small the food from blocks away I decided to stop in the torta and tacos where delicious the salsa and chips taste so fresh, small very clean restaurant the server was very friendly. Ok so I read the reviews and it's both. It's very true about the al pastor is definitely burnt and slightly dry but it has really good potential. The carne asada is not bad it was juicy and flavor was almost there. The cabeza was good also but lacked salt and flavor but the meat was good. My wife ordered the al pastor quesadilla and it was soaked in grease from the cheese which got all over the tortilla oh and the red salsa was good and spicy. So over all I had to give it a 3 cause it was literally right in the middle. Paid $23 which is pretty expensive but I wanted to try this place out. read more

Be careful my wife and i had them cater our wedding back in Oct. The guy brought the wrong stuff after my wife stressed 3 to 4 times exactly what she wanted, then charged us more just because of where we had the wedding, then to top the whole thing off the guy was drinking beer while cooking the food and when he left he ran into my mother's new truck! We are still waiting for them to make it right every time we talk to them they tell us "I will call my insurance company", shame on us for not calling the police, this is what we get for giving people the benefit of the doubt. I don't like to write bad reviews but i think people need to be aware of what happened. read more
