    "Green chicken" tamale
    Becca E.

I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but these are the driest tamales I've ever had in my life. I ordered 2 cheese and 10 chicken for like $49 and they are the biggest waste of money ever. So dry. No sauce. Barely any meat. And there's chunks of potato in them?! Do not waste your time or money coming here. So bummed because I was bragging about going and getting these at work and this is what I ended up with. I don't even feel right giving them to other people to eat, they are that awful.

I thought the tacos de asada were pretty good. Unfortunately they don't have chorizo. The tables de raja were alright. The service was quick and ate staff was super friendly.

Been coming here for Christmas tamales last few years. Seems like they were trying to skimp this year. Where's the meat? Mostly just masa though the whole tamale. Disappointing. Have to find a new place if this is the direction they are headed.

Oh my God I'm so happy I found my spot for tamales! I ordered the beef and the pork and they both are so delicious!!!! The Jamaica drink is really good too. There are tons of parkings. And both of the girls are so nice and helpful!!! My favorite place for tamales from now on It's worth my drive!! Thank you so much!!!

I feel like tamale season is basically upon us, so I stopped by to try this place out. I gotta say I was pleased with their cheese and chicken tamales. I also had their carnitas plate which was pretty good, but I feel like they specialize more in their tamales. The service itself was great, and it was such a cute little establishment to enjoy a meal in.

The first time here and I ordered pork, beef and cheese. One preparado and they were ALL delicious. My sister and I had the best and yummiest tamales we have had in so long. Finally, a place that has moist, meaty and flavorful tamales. Highly recommend and love supporting a new family business. Very clean and organized. Give them a try

A slightly different masa but moist and flavorful.

Overall this was a fairly good experience. Since moving to the city of Corona, I have found it a tad difficult to find a place that serves both Menudo and Tamales. You can find Menudo, however tamales are a hard creature to find. I have been traveling out side the local area in search of a good place to call my M&T home. Tamaleria Rincon Sinaloense was a good find. Not the best (I save my 5 stars for only the best), but good. The menudo was a good portion and was a good portion. Maybe a little heavy with the salt however, I still enjoyed it. They have a variety of tamales, I am a pork/red kind of guy and though the masa was not what I am typically used to, the tamales still satisfied. Not a lot of meat or sauce but the tamale was still moist and the masa had good flavor. The service was good and the folks there seemed nice. Also, the space was clean. A big plus. Over all it was a nice experience and only 20 minutes from my home. I will be back. Maybe I will try and different type of tamale. As always, your mileage may vary.

Great decor, customer service, and food. One of my friends said that this is one of the best tamalerias around Orange County. Prices were very reasonable. Their agua frescas were reasonable also.

The music was good, but the door to the street was open and the cars zooming by pretty much drowned it out. We had reservations that weren't needed, we showed up 30 minutes early and the place only had one other occupied table. Service was slow at the beginning, seems like the hostess was also the waitress, and bartender, and possibly helps in the kitchen. Husband had a michelada and it was very good, super lime forward. Tasty and refreshing! My iced tea was really good, very lemony. We wanted to try the corn cake pancakes but didn't want the whole meal, so we asked for one, were told it comes with two. It was $12 for two, instead of $17, which comes with bacon and eggs. The pancakes were yummy, but slightly undercooked and almost raw in the middle. Loved the sweet corn flavor, and the crispy, salty edges. They had plantain chunks on top, but they didn't do anything for me, they were bland. I would love to order the pancakes again, and I hope they are fully cooked next time. He had the Avocado Toast and said it was one of the best he has ever had, it's served with chorizo and queso fresco. He said the chorizo was great and he loved the sourdough bread. He ate both pieces, and he rarely eats an entire plate of food! My chilaquiles verdes with skirt steak was great! I asked for the steak to be medium rare, it was around medium, but still tasty. The portion was way larger than I was expecting, I finished about half and took the rest home. Their entire menu sounds great and I hope we come back to try more of their food.

They have the huitalacoche (corn fungus) quesadilla that I really enjoy as well as their pupusa loroco y queso. Trying out their Lengua taco and taco jaracho which I have been eyeing for a while. All their food is tasty, made fresh. All bursting with flavor. Salsa bar is probably one of my favorites having literally a salsa made for every kind of taste bud. Don't let the small restaurant deceive you. Small restaraunt but with bit flavors. The tortilla made with the quesadilla is nice and soft but with a good chew to it. Tastes like a homemade corn tortilla versus flour. The cheese is rich and has a wonderful pull to it. The lengua is extremely tender, little skimpy on meat portion, but overall good taco. The jarocho taco which is basically a shrimp taco on a cheese crusted tortilla is excellent. Service is what you would expect at a ma and pop shop. The cashier was patient enough to explain to me what a jarocho taco was and also spoke English which was nice for me. El Habanero is that kind of spot  the ultimate hidden gem. You walk in expecting a quick bite and somehow leave feeling like you discovered a secret the city has been quietly protecting. I ordered the carne asada torta and immediately realized this wasn't just a sandwich  this was architecture. The bread? Perfectly toasted, soft inside with just enough crisp to hold the universe together. It cradles everything like it knows how important its job is. Then the carne asada shows up  tender, juicy, smoky, and seasoned like someone's abuela personally supervised the grill. Every bite releases layers: char, citrus, salt, and warmth all hitting at once. The toppings don't just sit there either they collaborate. Creamy, fresh, bright, and balanced so the meat stays the star while everything else plays the perfect supporting role. The sauces? I'm convinced they bend time, because the torta disappears way faster than logic allows. This isn't just food  it's the kind of meal that makes you pause mid-bite and look around to see if anyone else realizes what just happened. El Habanero didn't just make a torta... they made a reason to come back.

I have not visited this center all that often. I never really noticed this Cuban restaurant before. Fortunately, my co-worker requested to go to a Cuban restaurant for her birthday lunch. It's a medium size restaurant with plenty of tables. There's outdated hodgepodge decor, but that's not a big deal. The portions here are great for the lunch specials. Our meals started off with buttery slices of baked garlic toast. Lunch also included a bowl of black beans in a flavorful broth and huge portion of white rice. Plantains also come with our lunch entree. I was debating between the classic shredded beef or classic pork. Since I've had shredded beef at another Cuban restaurant years ago, I opted for the pork. This dish also came with a lot of onions and I didn't care for these since I was going to be in the office the rest of the day. It would be nice to be able to substitute with a small side salad instead. Note, your protein selection is the most important choice for your overall experience at Bella Cuba. I tasted my coworkers, shredded beef and I enjoyed that bite more than my own dish, the pork. I enjoyed the tender pork in the beginning, but after a few bites, the sourness or acidity of the seasoning was overwhelming. That wasn't for me. I wish I would've chosen the shredded beef or possibly another protein. I think I would've been better off choosing the quarter chicken or even the calamari steak. I will return with my family for other entrees next time!
