Clam order #1. Not fully cooked

Go someplace else. Extremely overpriced. Food quality poor. Undercooked Greasy fries The menu attached here in Yelp does not represent the current menu taped to the glass windows where you order. The new menu is hand written. Take all the pricing of the Yelp posted menu and multiply by up to 2.5 times and that is what you will end up paying. This just proves they are price gouging. 12-13 year old kids were taking the orders and cleaning up outside. (NH labor law enforcement might be interested in this). Listen to your customers orders. Don't send out two totally different cooked items. At least the grease wasn't rancid. Click on the pictures to see the undercooked clams and compare with the other order that came out with it. They have no consistency of cooking. My wife had the Tamarack basket with shrimp, chicken strips and fried clams in a meal. The size of the shrimp can only be described as "no larger than a US dime." Quantity was only 4 miniature shrimp. Three chicken strips that were fairly tasty. Six to seven undercooked clams. Plus another soggy greasy serving of French fries. Overall, her meal got a grade of "D". Don't waste your money. It was a beautiful night with a lite breeze sitting on the outside picnic tables. Very overpriced for what you received and the quality of the cooked product. No, I wouldn't recommend the place. Leave it for the tourists. Just an fyi. I showed the manager/owner my review. His response "I'll take it into consideration." I am NOT impressed Go try the Dipsy Doodle in Northfield, NH Much better food, fully cooked, and way cheaper.

Order a hamburger with onions and mushrooms. Then a half and half with shrimp clam stips with onion rings. We took it home. Patty on burger was almost nonexistent maybe thinner than McDonalds and had peppers on it. The shrimp were tiny and only ten of them then the clamp were very chewy and grease was dripping off few bits then it was in the trash it was disgusting

    Our Famous Lobster Roll Solo

Visited yesterday on our way to Weirs Beach. This used to be a great spot for lunch but that has changed. Firstly, they "didn't have enough oil in the fryers to make fried food" at noontime. So we ordered 2 hot buttered lobster rolls. This totaled almost $65. The tiny rolls were barely filled with cold dry lobster meat. The melted butter was on the side for you to pour over your sad dry lobster roll. This was the most disappointing lobster roll I've had in years. I ate half of it and tossed the rest to the seagulls. What a waste of money

    2 Way Combo Dinner

Went in today 7/8/23 for lunch, parking lot empty! We ordered both had combo plate of whole belly clams and scallops! Well we each had four scallops and a handful of some of the smallest whole belly clams ever. And the fries were not even fully cooked! We threw most of it away! And about 2 hours later I have the worst stomach ache.... Pepto time !!!

Food was fairly good but price was not what is posted on the menu. Very poor business practice...should have been $35 but was charged $51.

I stopped by for lunch recently and ordered the Traditional Chicken Cutlet Sandwich ($15 plus tax), which includes 2 house breaded cutlets on a fresh Italian loaf. My sandwich was made to order and ready in about 10 minutes. The big sub sandwich was cut and wrapped in halves and boxed up to go. I had to rush back to my vehicle before paid time ran out, parked about half a mile away on Endicott Street. I headed over to Meredith and enjoyed my sandwich out on Town Docks lakefront which has ample free parking, unlike the overcrowded Weirs Beach area. The Traditional Chicken Cut Sandwich/Sub was actually two sandwiches, so the pricing seemed appropriate. The semi thick chicken cutlets were nicely breaded smothered my marinara sauce and melted provolone cheese of chewy Italian bread sub loafs. I would likely try the American Chicken Cutlet Sub next time, which has American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and mayo. NOTE: There is a clear tip jar container at the counter essentially begging for tips. However, when I paid cash for my sub, I got change back less a dollar bill. I was all set on leaving a tip in the jar, but they already took it.

I stopped by The Clubhouse recently for food and to get out of the very hot and humid weather. The place was air conditioned and I sat myself at a high top table in the front section where there were several people having food and drinks. The front room has a flatscreen TV on the wall and a digital jukebox. The bar offers 6 draft beers, can beers & seltzers, wine, mixed drinks and cocktails. The food menu offers appetizers, wings, wraps, sandwiches, subs, pizza, salads, and Italian dinners (lasagna rolls, chicken parm, ravioli) with garlic bread. The prices are moderate. I got an ice water and ordered the Lasagna Rolls ($17 plus tax). My entree was served in about 12 minutes after ordering. The Lasagna was a good portion served in a long oval casserole dish with 2 chewy buttery garlic bread pieces. The lasagna had rolls of firm noodles with cheeses and ground sausage and plenty of thick red tomato sauce topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. However, the temperature of the lasagna was all over the place with the center very cold and the edges along the dish hot, but it was mostly lukewarm. I ate about 30 percent of the lasagna and boxed the rest to reheat very hot when I got home. The check was $18.45 (cash)/$19.00 (card) with tax and before tip. Overall, the service here was courteous and efficient. The restaurant and bar was clean. The lasagna was hearty, but the food temperature should be hotter, especially serving food with ground meat and soft cheeses.

This is a lovely restaurant that sits alongside Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee. There are a number of seating choices including bar, high top and conventional tables, many with views of the lake. This time of the year, the views of the snow-covered frozen lake are gorgeous. I wish I could say the same thing about our dinner, which frankly was a disappointment. The menu includes a good variety of starters, appetizers, salads, handhelds, and entrees. Two of us ordered the Flat Iron Steak. I realize this is usually a chewier cut of meat, but this was so tough it was inedible. Our server and the manager both could not have been nicer in terms of how they handled this as I returned mine and was quickly brought a different dinner- a French Dip sandwich. This was tasty but there was more bread than roast beef. The other person chose to keep her flat iron streak, but I could tell it was very difficult to cut and chew. Another ordered the Chicken Milanese Salad which included arugula, peppers, roasted tomatoes and olives in a balsamic dressing. The Parmesan crusted pan fried chicken came over-done but that meal was well-liked. The service and the ambiance were stellar.
