Clean, organized, and well-replenished buffet! Had mostly sushi - everything was quite fresh. Really good variety also.

Cold bland food. Really cute ambiance and okay service but nothing made me want to come back.

This was my boyfriend's and my first time trying this buffet after seeing advertisements and wanting to check it out. We went for lunch, and unfortunately, the food was very mediocre and mostly cold. The only items that stood out to me were the krab rangoon, miso soup, and the deep-fried sushi roll. Overall, though, it honestly tasted like the food had been sitting out for quite some time. Would I come back? Respectfully, no. In my opinion, there are other Chinese buffets that serve hotter, better quality food. The service was okay, and the ambiance inside was just average. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

It's so hard to find a good buffet around the Tampa/Brandon area. We decided to give Tampa China Buffet a try for dinner. The pricing is pretty good for their buffet they have a good amount of variety but unfortunately not my usual grabs like beef and broccoli and crab bake. But overall the food was good they had a nice selection of seafood and sushi as well. I wasn't a fan of their desserts they lacked flavor and some just tasted artificial.

First time visiting Tampa China Buffet with family while in town, and it definitely won't be the last! We came for Sunday dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices and vibrant ambiance -- the place was lively but still comfortable for a family meal. The food selection was impressive, especially for a buffet. There was a wide variety of dishes, including fresh sushi and sashimi, which isn't something you find often at this price point. Everything we tried was well-prepared and flavorful. I didn't even get a chance to take many photos -- we were too busy enjoying the food! This spot has officially become our Tampa family's new go-to for Asian buffet dining. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a great value, diverse selection, and a fun dining experience.

If your in the Tampa area and craving a great Chinese Buffet experience, this is the place to go. From the warm welcome to a big thank you for coming, I highly recommend this place. I was there yesterday with friends Sunday lunch. A n extensive selection of sushi and shasmi to die for. Crab legs, large shrimp and oysters on the half shell to baby octopus. A very large selection of Chinese dishes prepared perfectly. And don't forget to try their wide range of desserts. The service was spot on and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Priced just right.

Food: 3/5 For a buffet, the food quality was okay, but we've had better experiences elsewhere. The only items I'd specifically recommend are the frog legs and the steamed fish. Service: 4/5 Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and she even gave us some local recommendations to check out. The hostess could be a bit friendlier when seating guests. Ambiance: 3/5 The restaurant has a large seating area with decent spacing between tables. One downside was the serving tongs at the buffet--they looked dirtier than expected. Replacing them more frequently, maybe every 30 minutes, would make a big difference.

After the renovation, this China Buffet is ready for the new facelift with new seat, welcome, lobby, brand new buffet bar and more. It becomes very modern and clean in the same time. We were here for the lunch buffet. The buffet started at 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. The buffet bar has dim sum, sushi, sashimi, pizza, fried protein, stirs fry, steam snow crab, raw seafood, cook seafood, frog leg, veggies and more. It worth the visit for this buffet. The dinner session start at 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Not sure what will be the extra offer.

Great place to go when I'm on this side of town and in a hurry. Huge selection with 8 bars of food and always fresh.

I haven't been here in years. It looks like they've had some upgrades. The place is very clean very welcoming. The food was delicious. Who doesn't like a buffet all you can eat. our waiter was attentive with me and my family.

I haven't been to a buffet in years and I was told that this place was renovated so I wanted to give it a try. I would say it was a better looking Chinese buffet I have been to. It looks like it was newly renovated. It is also spacious restaurant. The staff were great and a lot of food options. They did have a lot of sushi options too and sashimi. I would say some of the rice tasted a little older. But the sashimi itself and a few sushi rolls was good. If you're in the looks for a Chinese and sushi buffet. This is a good spot to stop at.

Didn't need all the micro greens for garnish on top but this could be overlooked because taste and flavor was amazing. The tuna tartare was super tasty as well and I would definitely order this again same comment for micro greens on this dish - didn't need this and found myself moving it off the dishes to actually enjoy the item. The two not so favorite dishes for me were the fried rice topped with fried chicken. While chicken was very tasty the rice was extremely basic. Could have used eggs or other ingredients to elevate this dish. Also the Volcano roll was extremely disappointing. Normally the volcano topping is cooked or (torched) and this topping was cold and very unappetizing. Would not recommend this roll. Overall this place is a hit or miss. Food is terrible - they even forgot the egg as a part of my ramen and brought me a frozen egg when I mentioned the missing item which was disgusting. Octopus is so tough and chewy. Terribly cooked from frozen. Mango sticky rice is absolutely horrendous. Nothing like what you expect. Temperature is terrible - they don't use A/C so it's incredibly hot and humid in restaurant. Avoid this place at all costs.

We also love Hyde Park and it's just so nice to walk around that area before or after your meal. We both really enjoyed our drinks. For appetizers, we shared the wagyu gyoza and I also got a couple pieces of nigiri -- Hokkaido Hotate (scallop) and the otoro (fatty tuna belly). Yum! We both ordered sushi rolls (maki) for our mains. I got the Ro signature roll which has spicy tuna, avocado, and hamachi. My sis got the classic tempura shrimp roll topped with crispy potato chips which was a nice twist. We definitely got our sushi fix! The end of every meal comes with a complimentary sweet surprise and I'm so glad we saved just enough room for dessert. They make their own ice cream in-house and have fun rotating flavor combinations. I can't remember the exact flavor we had, but it had a passion fruit ganache on top with some crumble topping and it was phenomenal! Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. That alone is worth going back for.

We checked out a bunch of different restaurants, but they were all booked up. So, we ended up booking Wagamama for our dinner on Sunday night. After finding roadside parking near the restaurant, we checked in at the register and were shown to our table. Our server greeted us and provided us with menus. Following a discussion among ourselves and with our server, we began our order with a lychee martini and a coconut drift for drinks. For appetizers, we selected the Bang Bang Cauliflower, which our server highlighted as a very popular option, along with chicken pot stickers. For our main courses, we ordered the chicken pad Thai, Karage Chicken Strips for our toddler and the chicken firecracker dishes. Our drinks arrived first: a Lychee Martini and a Coconut Drift. The Lychee Martini contained a significant amount of vodka, so much that my spouse could only manage two sips. The Coconut Drift was better, but it still had an excessive amount of sugar. We got our Bang Bang Cauliflower appetizer. However, upon tasting it, we found it wasn't cooked properly. It tasted like they simply coated the cauliflower with sauce without properly cooking it. We were disappointed to have to return it. Following that, our chicken pot stickers arrived. The chicken pot stickers were just okay, without anything particularly noteworthy about them. They weren't even properly cooked around the edges. Both appetizers we ordered turned out to be disappointing. Our dinner arrived and included Pad Thai and Chicken Firecracker. Both dishes were just alright; they could have been better. Compared to how other reviews described them, they didn't live up to the expectations set by those reviews. We couldn't get the Chicken Karage Strips we wanted for dinner. We ended up having to comp the whole thing because even though the restaurant wasn't that full (only about 70-75% empty), we had to wait a super long time for the food to be ready. Our visit to Wagamama was so disappointing that we may not return. We were unhappy with the food, the service, and the atmosphere.
