I am a HUGE wine fan and definitely enjoy a engaging tasting in a great atmosphere and TWR had it all. Beautiful decor and wonderful space that would excited any wine lover. There is a large bar that wraps around with comfortable chairs. Several additional seating options as well. They have an impressive variety of wine both chilled and not as well as many available by the glass. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They do not serve food but do offer the full menu from the restaurant next door, Michaels and they bring it to you. They host Several events and ours was a tasting by Kendall Jackson wines and charcuterie pairing. I felt like the charcuterie could have been a little bit more impressive for the price but the presentation was very nice.

It is an excellent place to have wine, a very pleasant atmosphere. I ordered a sangria and to my taste it was very soft. They do not have much variety in food, you can order appetizers but it is a place to drink and enjoy a good wine. The service was excellent, we were a fairly large group and a single girl served us all very cordial and efficient

It's nice to have a place like this in Carrollwood. Wine is sold by the ounce from dispensers with a decent selection to choose from (about 30 or so bottles). If you're a novice to wine and interested in trying different ones to figure out what strikes your fancy, this is the place to go. They have outdoor and indoor seating which makes it convenient to enjoy those Florida nights. The vibe here is definitely cozy. The bartender was awesome too. She was so helpful and accommodating to my group. We were even able to order dinner from the restaurant next door! I'd come back.

We got the charcuterie board some beer, high noon and wine!

So we went here to celebrate my birthday on a cold Saturday in January. It wasn't very busy but loved the live music. There was an amazing violist that night. The server was great and very helpful with the card wine pour, it took me a minute to figure it out. we called ahead and got the special couch area for my group and celebration which was nice. The bubble bread you gotta try! Now last night we ate next door, (I believe they are related) and this place was happening on a Friday 7pm. Place was packed. We will definitely go back.

This may be the Wine talking but I love WINE. If you are looking for a simple yet sophisticated modern wine establishment, then look no further. The Tampa wine Room and associates know their wine terms, along with wine origins and the know hows of winemaking as a whole. It definitely takes a skilled persons to know the VINO basic characteristics, tannins, aromas, flavors, and body structure. Nice selection to choose from even on their happy hour evenings.

This female owned Local business sells wine by the ounce in state of the art dispensers. So you can sample a variety of vintages without committing to entire bottle or even a glass. While it is perfectly acceptable and appropriate to make this your destination for the evening (especially when fine musicians are there to entertain you on Friday and Saturdays), where the scene really shines is as a jumping off point for a Big Night on The Town or as a classy joint for a night cap after dinner when the conversation is flowing and you don't want the night to end too quickly. It's a versatility that I really appreciate. Whether you post up on the patio, order some small plates from Michael's Grill next door, and make an evening of it OR if you just pop in to sample some Vino before your event or after dinner the Wine Room is a great way to support Local Business and Local Music. Hope to see you out and about

Hidden gem! This place has changed so much since I moved back to Tampa. It is very chic and modern but has such a cozy feel to it. There's plenty of space for seating at the bar and it is beautiful if you just want to hang out and relax. It was great as you can order a little appetizers from the restaurant next door (they come to you) and all while enjoying a huge selection of wine. It's very spacious and there's even a whole part of the location that I'm missing but it's very nice inside. They often have live music on the weekends but not certain of the schedule. Took my mother here for an event and the did a great job visiting. Definitely my new favorite place!

Went here for a chill night out . They have the wine sample machines you can use . They barely have any wines compared to like winter park wine room but they have an agreement with the restaurant next door michaels and the food was amazing . Service was great as well . The food made it five star other wise if you are just coming for wine sampling probably skip . They have a small selection

I hope you decide to RUN not walk to The Wine Shoppe. This is easily a go to place for wine to take to a party or to socialize with friends. I went on Tuesday for happy hour with friends. This little shoppe is tucked away on a plaza in Dale Mabry but it's worth a visit. I barely made the cut for happy hour but Pedro the man behind the bar still gave me a glass. I enjoyed a refreshing moscato from France that I have never heard of. It was a quiet night and there were a few other guests but Pedro was able to show us how to use the wine machines where we could sample wines. We had a few glasses and were even able to order food from the bar from the Italian restaurant next door. I got the egg rolls and they did not disappoint. The Wine Shoppe was clean and the staff friendly. They opened up a year ago and host events and even sell cigars. Try this place out!

A friend and I ordered the Japanese curry and short ribs, and both were disappointing. The portions were surprisingly small, and the curry tasted like a generic TV dinner that had just been warmed up. For the price, I expected much better. We actually ended up going next door to GrillSmith afterward because we were still hungry, which says a lot. That said, the wine selection was excellent, and the staff was very knowledgeable. If you're just looking for a great place to enjoy wine, this might be worth a visit. But if you're hoping for a full dining experience, I'd say skip the food and go elsewhere.

They have their hand on the pulse of what is popular in Korea as well as the US. We are so lucky to have this establishment! You won't find anywhere else like this in Tampa Bay. I'm definitely coming back for dessert and to try more! The Migak sommelier is here to help you choose wines that will pair perfectly with the plates that you order. I loved EVERY dish I tried so far. 1 트러플 짜장 떡볶이 Truffle Jajangttoekbokki paired with Red - Rich truffle flavor paired with umami black bean sauce in this popular Korean fusion rice cake dish. Paired with Malbec. 2 골수 Bone Marrow - Not many places serve this dish in Tampa! The exquisite fatty flavors are emphasized by the fresh herbs used. A must-try. 3 Chicken Skewers - The plump, glossy bites of heaven are dark meat, fatty, glazed and tender. The tangy and slightly spicy sauce matches well with the fatty meat. Paired with Reisling. 4 명태전 Pollack Joen - Fried egg washed fritters, served with a side salad. A very popular dish in Korea. Sometimes whole restaurants just serve various joen as their main menu. Paired with Gruner. 5 불구기 쌈 Bulgogi Ssam - Premade lettuce wraps with just the perfect amount of toppings and sauces, as the chef intended. Paired with white burgundy. 6 카레 Korean Curry - Some say it tastes similar to the popular Japanese curry, but this curry is definitely in it's own category of yummy. As the only Asian food specialist that has written about specifically Korean cuisine and visted Korea multiple times, can speak, read, and write in Hangul --- Migak is my favorite Korean restaurant in Tampa Bay hands down. Keep them open. Protect them at all costs.

Things were going well, however after the first 10-15 minutes we realized everyone was freezing! There was a vent pushing air non stop on us and it was not enjoyable. Towards the end we had to actively leave to go outside to warm up. You may ask, did you inquire with the team to assist to see about turning the air down? We sure did, the host working that day (May 2nd evening time) said there is nothing we can do, we can't move you now that you've sat down and that they typically tell people to bring a jacket if they plan on sitting them there. Well great! Problem solved, we appreciate absolutely no heads up and now we are not enjoying our time. There was also an event going on the patio, to which they had all left and lingering outside/parking lot area, we inquired again with the host to see if we could go on the patio for the remainder of our drinks. She also said no, as there was still some time left on that parties reservation (even though no one was there). All in all, horrible host, and I won't be back with a large family after spending $400+ with the potential risk of sitting and freezing our a$$ off. An Italian spin on Cooper's Hawk? Yes, please!…read more The moment the sign went up on this building during construction, I eagerly anticipated this place because I knew it was owned by Cooper's Hawk. We're wine club members, and always enjoy our meals at their location near International Plaza, so the idea of having a Piccolo Buco opening up closer to us in Carrollwood was quite exciting! Let's start at the beginning. My husband and I were fortunate enough to visit Piccolo Buco for their soft opening preview event before they opened to the public, so we were able to try some of their items at no charge. We were limited to ordering from specific menus so their kitchen could get used to making a variety of dishes. Unfortunately for us, our menus were pretty much limited to pizza, pizza, and more pizza. Don't get me wrong, the pizzas were tasty... but since we could each order an appetizer and an entree, and the pizzas were in both of those sections, we didn't actually have a ton of choice. But you can't really complain about free food, so we had a lot of leftovers. During that meal, we had the yellow tomato bisque, the classic margherita pizza (with red tomato sauce), the charred pepperoni pizza (with red tomato sauce), and spicy pepperoni (with yellow tomato sauce). It was a little comical to see three pizzas on our table for two. And while these may LOOK like personal pizzas, don't let that fool you... these are filling. The pizzas were tasty, though I will say the yellow tomato sauce is a bit bland for a pizza. I'd recommend sticking to the red sauce, personally. However, the yellow tomato bisque was fantastic! A bit after they opened to the public, I returned on my own for lunch one day, and got to try their meatball sandwich, which comes with your choice of side (I chose the Caesar salad). FYI, their sandwiches are a lunch-only item, so they're only served until 3:30 pm. Both the sandwich and salad were pretty good, though I'd probably try the chicken parm sandwich next time. Most recently, my husband and I came here for a midday lunch, and split a lunch-only salad (I wish I could remember the name, but it had mixed greens, a vinaigrette dressing, croutons, shaved cheese, kalamata olives, red onion, mozzarella, and a pesto drizzle). This salad was phenomenal! We couldn't stop raving about it... that is, of course, until our entree arrived: the truffle fondue cappellacci. You guys, this honestly might be the best pasta I've ever eaten. My mouth is watering just remembering this dish. It's a cheese-stuffed pasta with black truffle brown butter, aged balsamic, toasted pistachios, and a light honey drizzle. We practically licked the plate clean. How much did we like that pasta? Enough to come back for dinner the very next day and order it again. This time, we split the cappellacci and the braised short ribs. Now, my go-to dish at Cooper's Hawk is the short rib, so I was interested to compare them. I think the flavoring of the Piccolo Buco version is better; however, I didn't love the polenta it's served with, whereas it comes with mashed potatoes at Cooper's Hawk. That being said, Piccolo Buco's salmon is served with roasted Yukon gold potatoes, so I might ask if I could swap the sides on my next visit. For dessert, we've tried both the chocolate hazelnut cake (I'm a sucker for anything Nutella-adjacent) and the crostada (this is always on the dessert menu, but the fruit it's served with is seasonal... as I write this, it's peach and blueberry, but when I visited, it was brown butter apple and chestnut). Both of these desserts are quite good, but the crostada is easily the better of the two. I'm hoping I can try the peach and blueberry version, because that sounds lovely! Oh, and just as Cooper's Hawk has their barrel reserve wine, Piccolo Buco has their Buca Riserva, a Super Tuscan-style blend. It's delicious, and you can always ask for a sample of any of their wines before you commit.

Espositos is by far the best Italian Restaurant we have been to in Tampa. My husband and I go…read morethere pretty regularly and every dish we have gotten so far has been nothing but spectacular! The taste is amazing, the quality is perfect, the portions are incredibly big, and the service far beyond meets our expectations every time! I have found our Italian home! Anytime you want authentic Italian cuisine I highly recommend you go to Esposito's! shout out to the owner who is also very welcoming and present in making sure everything goes well. If I get more than five stars I would!

What an incredible dining experience! From the moment we walked into Esposito's Italian Restaurant,…read morewe were treated like family. The level of service honestly reminded us of Bern's Steak House--professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server, Alvaro, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and was attentive without ever being overbearing. Paul greeted us when we arrived and checked on us throughout dinner, which made us feel truly valued as guests. We started with the Caponata Siciliano "Bruschetta Style," and it was the perfect way to begin our meal. It came with 4 pieces of bread, we couldn't resist eating 2 of them before the photo. For our entrée, we had the Tortellini alla Panna, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. We ended the evening with chocolate, pistachio, and strawberry gelato, and were pleasantly surprised with complimentary cannolis--a thoughtful touch that made the night even more special. It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers both exceptional food and equally exceptional hospitality. Esposito's exceeded our expectations on every level. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
