This is slowly becoming our go-to place in the Tri-Valley for pizza and cocktails. They have a limited $7 cocktail section if you are on a budget, as well as a budget friendly menu that provides more than enough food to take home and enjoy left overs. Service is good. Parking lot. Gender assigned restrooms. Separate bar area. Lots of dining space. We heard that the comedy event is good and need to carve out some time to check it out.

If you're looking for an old-school Italian family restaurant, this is the spot. From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff makes you feel right at home. The space is large and comfortable, making it perfect for big family dinners or group gatherings. They start you off with fresh bread and herb butter, which is always a great sign -- warm, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating. And honestly, everything on the menu is excellent. You really can't go wrong no matter what you order. This has become our go-to Italian restaurant for family meals. We always leave full, happy, and completely satisfied. If you love classic Italian food, generous portions, and welcoming vibes, you'll love it here.

We were craving Italian food so we decided to give FJL a try. There's a big parking lot around the restaurant so parking wasn't an issue. Host was friendly and sat us right away. We were seated in the back dining area. We were given a special menu and the regular menu. Menu wasn't overwhelming to navigate and we reviewed it before we came. Started off with bread and butter. We are also given oil and vinegar. The bread was fresh and hot. Paired well with the homemade herb butter. The bread was toasted and soft in the inside. If you can't have dairy I'd suggest to try it with the oil and vinegar. We ordered the calamari fritti as an appetizer. The calamari wasn't chewy and tough. Very tender and lightly fried. It came with a horseradish sauce and tartar. Both complimented well with the calamari. Wasn't oily and you got all parts to enjoy. Definitely recommend 5/5. Main course was half portion of lasagna and spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs added. The lasagna was pretty good. Not salty and very meaty. The sauce was amazing and a bit watery but it does soak up midmeal. Authentic taste and the tomato sauce was delicious. 4.5/5 Meatballs were dense huge and definitely filling on top of the Bolognese sauce. Portion was pretty decent. 4/5 Tiramisu was for togo since I was full from dinner. Enjoyed it later in the evening but it just didn't taste like the regular tiramisu I normally have. No espresso taste and too bland and had a weird after taste. Not sure if I got an old slice but it didn't taste fresh. 2/5 Overall good meal and I would like to come back and try the pizzas. Service was attentive and our table was cleared often.

I have been here a couple times now and it's a nice local Italian spot. Recently the servers seemed a bit busy which forced us to wait on a few things, but the servers are always super nice! The food is pretty good but a bit pricey, and the cocktails were just okay. I recently had the prawn Alfredo and it was pretty good.

I have been here quite a lot of times throughout the last 15 years. This place has been in Dublin must be over 30 years. Local is good, parking can be hard but plenty of spots around the back of the restaurant. Ambiance is cozy, I always wish that it can be slightly brighter in lighting and take a slight renovation. Ambiance is family style and noise is just average. Very pleasant to hang out just to chit chat after finish eating. Lots of family gatherings and graduation parties. The Jambalaya is my favorite. Juat the right amount of sauce and seafood. Bread can be warmer and softer. Service was very attentive, could check on us slightly more often though. Will come again.

Excellent food and service. We celebrated t son's graduation here. So glad we did. We will definitely be back

Another satisfying dinner last night. My daughter inhaler her rigatoni with bolognese and sausage (make your own pasta). The sauce was very meaty and flavorful. The rigatoni was perfectly cooked and the remaining sauce was devoured with bread. The linguine and clams is one of our classic orders and was just as enjoyable as the first time. We also tried Johnny's Favorite pizza and I loved it! The pizza was piled high with chicken, olives, tomato, roast bell peppers, artichoke and ricotta cheese. My boyfriend thought the amount of ricotta was a tad much, but since I LOVE ricotta, it was a-ok for me. And...! I really liked the crust and I'm not usually a crust person. Our server was awesome, and I wish I could remember his name, but shout out to him. I would say the only minor improvement that could be made would be to keep the calamari on for a little longer.

I hadn't been to FJ&L for a long time but went tonight. My favorite dish was ( and continues to be) the Rigatoni Spinachi. I had a great server tonight named Joe. Attentive and personable. The food did not disappoint and was a very generous serving. I'll eat the rest tomorrow for lunch!

Our crab cakes were just right, not too soggy and the fried coating was not too crispy. The dinner and dessert we had was good as well, we ended up bringing the rest home the only complaint I had was our waitress, she seemed very overwhelmed with the three parties of at least 7-8 people that she was also waiting on, to where she seemed very annoyed with waiting on me and my friend.

    The table is set!

I ordered a New York "thin" crust pizza and sure, it was somewhat thin in some areas, but as you ate towards the crust, the crust became thicker and thicker until I got to the gigantic dough ring, which reduced my workable pizza area from 14", to 12". While some may enjoy massive dough rings, (pizza bones) I prefer pizza to the edges, and order a side of bread. Which we did. Came with an extremely tasty marinara sauce for dipping. The pizza was great, but it was not as thin a crust as I was expecting. Still, very tasty. The service here was very good. Cool place, good food and perfect service.

CHEESY GARLIC BREAD (meal comes with bread too).

If you see the Charles Schwab entrance, go through the main entrance on the left and go straight. Standard deli counter set up. Walk up ordering and take your pick from the menu. I choose the Italian. Comes with 3 meats: Salami, pepperoni, and ham. Full options of produce. They offer a variety of "spreads", I choose the garlic and also the spicy spreads. All between what feels like fresh sour dough bread. Service was fast. Staff were super friendly. From ordering to getting the sandwich it probably took 8 minutes and this was during 12:30pm lunch rush. Sandwich is solid. Bread crunchy exterior and soft fluffy interior. Meat is proportional where you don't feel like the "jipped" you, I think the spread adds a good flavor boost. They also offer free pickles and pepperonis on the side. Interior has plenty of tables and chairs. Decent size dining hall. It's within an office building so I can see they may get large volumes of people coming for their lunch. Worth a stop by if you want a sandwich. Heads and shoulders better than your standard subway/similiar chain sandwich place.

I was helped by the owner, and not only was he kind and attentive, but when I wasn't sure exactly what my husband wanted on his sandwich, he went above and beyond. He thoughtfully put some of the toppings I was unsure about on the side so my husband could customize it himself at home. He even added a whole avocado on the side, just because. That level of care is rare. Food-wise, my favorite sandwich is the Hang Loose; it never misses. Fun, flavorful, and made exactly how I want it every time. It's moments like this that keep me coming back. I actually prefer going into the store instead of ordering through DoorDash, not because delivery isn't convenient, but because the genuine human interaction here is refreshing. We would have done that, but this was a last minute decision to stop by. Turkey sandwich on dutch bread -1/5: My wife is lactose / egg intolerant and cannot take any mayonnaise. She asked for no mayo on the sandwich, but it seems it was added to the sandwich, then scraped off, as the employee asked again what she didn't want. He said "oh", and proceeded to make the sandwich. An hour later, she did not feel good for the rest of the day and the next morning, as it was clear that mayo was still on the bread. The bread itself tasted like day old bread as it did not have any crunch, and was very chewy. This ruined the sandwich. Goomba - 1/5: Ordered with Dutch bread as well which was chewy. Not only was it chewy, but it was the driest sandwich I have ever had. I even added more red wine vinegar at home, but still could finish this sandwich due to the overly chewy bread. I ended up throwing the bread out, and ate the innards of the sandwich instead. I will say this was the worst sandwich I have ever had, and never thought I would have experienced that. I could have come on an off day, but it's going to be a while before I return. Jersey Mikes, Ikes, and Crust offer much better sandwiches in the area. I gave one extra star as everyone I interacted with was very friendly.

Life is about balance and I certainly cant always have fries and cheeseburgers. I mean, I could but I'd pay the price. I didnt feel like I was making any big sacrifices with the steak sandwich. It wasn't heavy like a cheesesteak would be and I was satiated. What I didnt expect, however, was enjoying the salad more than the steak and bacon sandwich. Excuse my english but Holy Shitballs, this was a very tasty salad and everything tasted so fresh.
