I bought a black blazer (original price 180$), two shirts and a pair of leggings (original price 80$) for only 75$! Plus there is no tax, that makes me happy :) However, it's always a hit or miss here. Sometimes you find clothes you would want to wear and sometimes you don't find anything you would want. I really liked the outlet setup here!! Haha. There are 3 you can go to, and I went to this one as well as the surfside one. I didn't bother going to the bayside one, since I didn't see any stores I wanted to check out there. They're all really close to one another, though! Anyways, we came on a Saturday morning, and it was pretty empty!! That made for a very pleasant shopping experience, haha. The outlets are pretty small, but you have your typical stores. These outlets are great. The stores that are here are very good and well stocked. Prices are of course amazing and most stores are very clean. Really nice outdoor mall with a good selection of stores. I don't particualy that they divide the 3 locations into separate areas, even all their locations are across the street. Too much traffic. I decided to go to all 3 on different days during my trip. Staff is mostly very friendly, in most stores. And, mostly everything is for a good price. Some other stuff is ways too expensive. I forgot the store's name, but there was one store that sold shirts for $100. Other than that, great selection of stores, and most of the stores are extremely clean. They don't have a food court, but that's fine, because mall food courts are crap. read more

This place was def worth the 3 hour drive for. Besides not having any sales tax, most of the stores had some AMAZING deals going on. I budgeted $1,000 for this trip, got everything I wanted, without using coupons and still only spent $350!! My kiddos loved all the stores and I was surprised there were so many. The only downside to this was there are three different locations that you have to stop at. We didn't realize that until it was time to go, as we had to get to northern Delaware for the rest of our trip. The traffic is crazy and there is a lot of lanes and u-turns and this and that. However, with that being said, it was kind of nice to not have to park a mile back and have to walk up to the stores and haul several bags at a time. We got a break in the car to unload bags and regroup. We will definitely be returning for more shopping. TAX FREE!!! YAY!! Other than the tax-free shopping, there wasn't much good about the Tanger Seaside Outlets. In fact, there were a couple things that sucked about it. Da-nah nah-nah nah-nah nah-nah nuh-Nuh! HEY! YOU SUCK! point #1: iPhones = FAIL! Before this year, one of my most dreaded phrases was: "I want to go shopping." While at the Mall or whichever shopping center, my second most dreaded phrase would rear its ugly head repeatedly, "I"m going to go try this on." All of this changed when I got an iPhone earlier this year. Now, I welcome these phrases as I can happily surf away while earning Husband of the Year bonus points by waiting patiently while she tries stuff on. So I was actually looking forward to hitting up Tanger Outlets with the wife to close out our vacation since I hadn't checked email in a few days. We first went to Children's Place and Gap to see if we could get some deals for the little one but alas, no deals were to be found. Then we hit up some other store and of course the once dreaded phrase, "I'm going to try this on," appears, to which I replied, "Take your time." I reached into my pocket to pull out my iPhone and FTW? "Where's the E?" "Cannot connect to the internet"?!?!?! *sigh* The prices ended up not being so great, so we went to the next store. Same scenario and guess what?! No internet!!! I couldn't get a connection in a single store, and trust me, we went into most of them at the Seaside Outlet. Da-nah nah-nah nah-nah nah-nah nuh-Nuh! HEY! YOU SUCK! point #2: Prices = Fail! My astute wife noticed this at JCrew. She bought a hoodie this past winter for $60. She noticed a similar hoodie at the outlet also priced at $60, but there were several key differences. 1) there was only a single lining for the outlet hoodie, 2) the outlet hoodie didn't have grommets, and 3) the material wasn't as soft. So despite clearly inferior quality, which you expect outlets to have, the price tag was the same but it had a 15% off sign just above it. So for those who are unaware of the offerings at their retail stores, they may think they are getting a great price on a hoodie AND a 15% discount, when in fact they are merely buying a lower quality good at the expected price. This trend continued at other stores. Personally, I'm a fan of the outlets that have a Polo guy who is upside down or jacked up stitching, etc...b/c I'm not going Outlet shopping to get high quality goods; I'm going there to get things to clothe my pale behind and pose as a stylish guy, but upon closer inspection, my polo guy is upside down. Da-nah nah-nah nah-nah nah-nah nuh-Nuh! HEY! YOU SUCK! point #3: Seasonal = Fail! Ummmm....aren't outlets supposed to be outlets? You know, like the end of the line? Clothes from last season? The stitching for which some poor villager lost their pennies/hour job? Why then is the tool in JCrew wearing a button up shirt with a wool sweater on top in 90+ degree weather?! My frugal Asian behind went looking for shorts and shirts to stock up on for next summer but instead, you have wool sweaters?! After several hours, we left Tanger Seaside Outlets with NOTHING! FAIL! We didn't even attempt to go to Tanger Midway or Tanger Bayside, which are located on the other side of Rte. 1, because the traffic was insane heading towards the beach. Perhaps we went at the wrong time, but we didn't find many great deals. If you end up going, I hope you have better luck! read more

Stopping at the outlets during my recent trip to Dewey Beach was a no-brainer. I had to pass there to get to Dewey and then again when going home. I think the set up worked in my wallet's favor. If these bad boys were connected, major damage would have been done. As someone who hates driving and parking, needing to move my car to get from section to section is a major buzzkill. The selection was great though. They have a Lululemon Outlet! (Although tears may have been shed in the parking lot that they don't typically carry yoga mats and were out of stock during my visit.) My tears quickly dried up when I found the Bare Escentuals outlet. I've also never been to an Express Outlet before, which I thought was excellent. Apparently they had a Limited Outlet, but it was closed when I was in that portion of the outlets. As a professional outlet shopper (haha, I wish!), I know Tanger Outlets are usually pretty quality. The Rehoboth shops are no exception. Bonus points to being in Delaware and being tax free! read more

Love the outlets for business clothes shopping. Prices are far more affordable at the outlets but do keep in mind that clothing for the outlets and traditional stores are manufactured differently. Outlet products are cheaper for a reason.. read more

As far as outlet malls go, this is one of the best I've been to in the country. They've got UnderArmour, Fossil, Guess, Oakley, Banana Republic, J.Crew, Calvin Klein, Vineyard Vines, and Lacoste, just to name a few that I always like to hit when coming here. Sales are definitely plentiful as well. If you have a AAA card, stop by Shopper Services and they'll give you a free coupon book which can save you some serious $$$. If you don't, you can buy a coupon book for $5, or join TangerClub for $10 onetime which gives you free coupon books at all Tanger centers for life, among other perks. Being in Delaware also means tax-free shopping! The only semi-annoying thing is that there are so many stores that they've divided the outlets into three different centers, one of which is almost 2 miles (and several traffic lights) away from the other two. Definitely worth it to visit the website and plan out the trip, unless you want to waste valuable shopping time driving up and down Coastal Highway numerous times. read more

Like I recently said in my Twitter...why do stores/malls proclaim themselves as outlets when they are no different than the stores at regular malls? It used to be that you were getting BARGAINS at outlet malls despite the fact that you may get the "unwanteds". Now, these stores don't even "blink an eye". Well, rainy days are perfect for shopping...or even when you need a break from the sun and the break...but just for a couple of hours. I had a good time shopping here...especially at Jockeys...and J. Crew...and A&F...and Converse...and AE....ok, ok...I did some serious shopping here. Well, actually, I was supposed to buy clothes for work and ended up doing the opposite. One thing I didn't like about this place was the coupon deal. I found out that you could get a coupon book from the sales office. However, you have to be a member of AAA or else the book costs $5. Now, you may think $5 is nothing but my friend asked for us to look through the book which we were granted to do so. Man, you have to spend like at least $75 or $150 dollars before you can get a percentage off total sales. Pffft! Anyways, despite the tax-free "carrot" dangling in my face...I still don't understand this whole outlet thing and the bargainless shopping. And yet...I did buy quite a few stuff. I wasn't too wowed. Maybe it's because Arundel Mills Outlets is just 10 min away from my house. The only stores I was interested in carried the same merchandise and the same prices. There weren't that many great deals, actually. I don't know if we came at the wrong time, but besides for IZOD's going out of business clearance, everything was kind of standard in pricing. It was like $19.99 all over the place, as if that's supposed to be the lowest deal around. Everything was carefully priced high, so that people could think 40% off or 60% off were actual bargains. No, it should be $5. or $10. That's a real deal. Not $20. I can go to Columbia Mall and shop their clearance sections if I want to spend $20 on a shirt. On the other hand, it's TAX FREE in Delaware. So marginally it is better to buy it there than here in Maryland. read more

Great outlet selection. Parking can be crazy, especially on weekends when they bus in people from NJ and PA. There are some freestanding restaurants and snack carts if you don't want to leave to eat, and lots of benches if you need to rest or are with anti-shoppers. You can get some good deals here, I stop by every few months or so to see if there is anything new or interesting. This is the largest outlet grouping of the the three in Rehoboth. read more

Ok, I was just in the Tools & More store. A kid was in the store and approached the guy running the place. The kids said they were doing an experiment, they were trading up. The kid explained that they went to the beach and found a sea shell. They have been trading at different places and currently they have a fidget spinner and asked the guy would they be willing to trade up. The guy running the store asked to see the fidget spinner, the boy handed it to him. The guy proceeded to toss the fidget spinner on the floor and boldly said NO. Where are manners these days. Great variety of shops, but hate how you have to drive to three different spots on Coastal Hwy to get to them all! They're just far enough apart that you can't really just walk, either. They're your standard outlets. If you like outlets, you'll like this one. Don't forget to visit the customer service office and pick up a coupon book! They're $5 a pop, but discounted for AAA and military. Totally worth it. read more

This is definitely better than the Bayside and the Midway Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach. The reason being that it has a trail head and a bit larger and better store selection here. I just love David and Harry's or is it Harry and David's. Also, there is CK, Banana, Gap, J Crew, Hollister, and more- you get the gist. Major stores here to hit all at once. Midway is a bit light on the bigger stores. Bayside is a compromise in between a Midway and Seaside. Still, if you have time to visit one, then definitely hit this one. read more

Bad weather can throw a hitch in your beach plans, so its wise to have a non weather dependent alternative planned. Rehoboth Beach has plenty of tourist shops, but if you've already got enough t-shirts and candy, you might want to try riding out the bad weather shopping at the Tanger Seaside Outlets. As a guy who doesn't take much pleasure in clothes shopping, these outlets didn't have a lot to offer me, but there were a few shops that made the trip worth it for me personally. The Nike outlet has good prices and very good selection styles and sizes. Usually I won't replace my tennis shoes until I find myself in the neighborhood of a Nike outlet, because I can't stand the aggravation of trying to find something I like in my size (13). The Bose outlet has 'factory refurbished' items, which I presume are cheaper than brand new. Those noise-canceling headphones are tempting. We picked up a nice giant measuring cup at the Corning outlet, but I couldn't tell if the prices were particularly good. Most of the rest is clothing and other crap I wouldn't waste vacation time shopping for. read more

I live here in Rehoboth Beach, so we do not have the large department stores such as Macys, Neiman Marcus or Bloomies. Lots of brand name stores where I can easily stock my wardrobe & home for the season. Prices really depend on the store. I see how easily people are bashing the outlets in general, but each store sets its prices based on their own corporate policy. Just be a smart shopper. Some stores (Old Navy for one) make specific items just for the outlets. Their stuff is the lowest priced merchandise out of the Banana Republic/Gap/old Navy trio. Just don't expect their shirts to really hold up for mutli seasons like the upoer tiered stores. Otlet center staff is always cordial when I go in the customer service office. Be sure to take advantage of the pink card during October. Proceeds from the $5 card go to breast cancer & you save 25% off one item at many of the merchants. read more

While visiting friends in Ocean City, MD, we decided to ride up to the Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth, DE. We immediately went to the Customer Service Office to get a free Tanger Outlets Coupon book with my AAA card. The ladies in the office were so friendly and nice. We then proceeded to shop a little. The outlets are not as good as they used to be. Lots of the stores now make items that are only sold in outlet stores and not in the retail stores. You just have to know what you are looking for and decide if the value and quality is good for you. My girlfriend was able to purchase 2 pairs of Skechers shoes - buy one and get one 1/2 off, plus they let her use the 10% coupon that was in the coupon book. She was a happy shopper after that experience. read more

These outlets are good for a rainy day in Delaware, but they are pretty basic and I wouldn't make a special trip for them.

This out is separated by 3 different sections (seaside, midway and something else) with each section being a mile and a half from each other. Whether it's a method to decrease traffic or congestion, it's not working. I don't think customers want to park 3 different times in order to shop at your outlet. read more

Rehobeth Tanger outlets are spread out over 3-4 shopping areas over 2 miles and 2 sides of the road apart. Because of that, it's not my favorite but I do love several things: It's tax free! It's a convenient drive from our Bethany Beach family summer spot. And finally, I love the Corningware Corelle sales...they have serious deals here! read more

There's a good selection of shops here. I know a lot of people are saying they're not really outlets, but they all had special deals. Many clothing stores had buy-1-get-1-free, or more commonly, get the second item half off. Parking was pretty easy but you do need to cross the highway to get to the other side of the mall. Tré, our sales associate at Old Navy, was awesome & would be the reason we'd return! The deals are only on certain items, not all so watch out. Staff were ready with coupons, which I appreciate. The store merch is a mess from all the customers digging through but I get it- it's way too much to expect staff to keep up with others' sloppiness or laziness. People should be more respectful of the hard work that goes into a good presentation and FGS put things back neatly. The checkout line was Lonng on a Sun afternoon but moved a little faster than I thought it would. Wait time to check out was prob 10min. Overall, everyone was nice & I would go back if ever in town again. read more

I loved these outlets because, outlets, and no sales tax, BUT I did find it strange that they were so spread out? Having to drive a mile or so between units seemed strange but wasn't that big of a deal. Good stores, some were different than the outlets I'm used to in CA so I was happy. read more

If I could give them a lower score I would. My family bought the coupon book to the tanger outlet and when we tried to use them at the stores we were treated with disrespect and as some of the store workers would say "cheap." Most of the stores said they wouldn't take the coupon for one reason or another. BIG WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME! A great place to go for great deals and tax free shopping. Every time I come to the beach, this is a great place to come to for great deals on clothing, housewares, and probably anything else I may need. May 7, 2016 Went to Soma for bras. Store was very busy with only two shop assistants. One stopped and told me she would be right with me. I looked thru the bras for my size. Tanger outlets are only a great place to shop during the off season/holidays. Stopped in during season and EVERYTHING was marked up. It was crazy to even think about paying $75 for an Under Armour hoodie, seeing as how the off-season offers hoodies between $30-$60 for the same hoodie. There is a great selection of stores at these outlets, you just have to figure out the right time to shop at them and when/where to find the best deals! read more
