Service was slow, never had a refill of the small glasses we were given. The pizza was mediocre at best, pulled apart easily but was very very greasy. The salad which was supposed to be a Caesar was a poor excuse for a salad even. The wet lettuce was served with chunks of cheese not grated as it should be. Hey so..... our waitress was lovely. Totally accommodating. I got the wings, and I'm pretty dang sure they had hair on them. I mean, multiple hairs. Never in my life had I sent something back, but my friend and I really made sure it was what we feared. New wings came back, still more hair. It had to be in the sauce or something, we thought maybe it was some kind of stringiness from the caramelization of the sauce, but we picked a few of the things off and they were curly and uniform in appearance. My friend even offered to put it in his mouth and was absolutely convinced it was hair. I mean, decide for yourself, I decided to take a few photos the second time they brought them out. Stopped by Tap on the Rocks in Morrison yesterday for lunch. Major disappointment. My wife ordered the Caesar Salad. It arrived at what I would guess at about 80% of the plate/bowl. You could see the bottom. Just some lettuce and croutons. After taking our order, the waitress never returned. When I finished my glass of ice tea, I tried to flag her down for a refill. She literally walked past me as I was saying "excuse me" and waiving my hands. Hard to miss. Delivered the check without a pen so I had to go inside to the bar to sign the credit card invoice. As I was signing, I heard her complaining to the bartender about how another table had just left her zero tip, so I was not alone in my poor treatment. Won't go back. My wife and I stopped by for a quick dinner bite after cruising red rocks and saw this place.. we've been here before for breakfast but never dinner. This place lacked everything we were looking for. Service was horrible. We sat inside since it was raining and everybody else sat outside. Not sure why. But that's their choice. We never once received refill on water and had to get our own silverware and check since the waitress never came back after dropping off the food. Speaking of the food, their "pizza" was a horrible version of a frozen Cali pizza company.. the bbq chicken pita crust pizza was super thin and soggy. Everything just fell off the crust when u hold up a slice. The sauce was too sweet. The wings we got were tiny and dried out from over frying. Wow! My husband and I moved to green mountain recently and we're trying local food spots. This place is amazing. It's under new management and they are doing really cool creative things with the menu. Absolutely get the wings here, they were the star of the show. Also the bear creek beach pizza was phenomenal. It was a slow night when we went so we got a delicious dessert pizza that they plan to add on the menu soon (so it's not on the menu, yet, but once it is I highly recommend)! What a nice group of staff! Everyone we interacted with was kind. The location is lovely with a view of the mountains and the patio is dog friendly. Nice cocktail and beer selection. Super fast service on our food and our sandwiches were yummy. We tried the chicken pesto and their San Francisco, a beef, cheddar and thousand island sandwich. Stopped here for a beer after hiking the red rock amphitheater and we had the most welcoming experience. The owner has a very impressive, hand-made set up that gives the space a great vibe. He also took the time to walk us through every beer option including samples and explanations. You can tell he truly loves what he's doing and puts so much care into his craft. All beers were good, even bitter IPAs I dont usually love, but we settled on a great sour and a smooth light raspberry one called princess yum yum. Great outdoor seating and friendly staff. Yikes. Wow. Back of the house looks filthy and uncoordinated. It's easy to see BOH because half the wall behind bar is ripped out. Floors are a dirty black mess. Everything behind bar is disorganized and looks dirty. Most of bar top was take up by staffs jackets, keys, water bottles, silverware rolling. I sat at bar and server had to move her stuff so I had more room. Server asked if I would like to see a wine list, laughed and corrected asking if I wanted a beer list, there's no wine here FYI. This restaurant was very dirty. The tables are blasted with cold air. Uncomfortable seating due to very chilly air hitting me through out the meal. The meal, it's clear they use the microwave on their pretzel appetizer and the beer cheese was cold. The pizza was so so. I asked for the fan to be turned down that was blowing cold uncomfortable air on me, they said they would but didnt. Then we asked to be moved to a more comfy table but did get moved.
