a plate of food and a bottle of beer

Nice home townhome feeling. Patrons and staff talking and joking together. Parking is tight and Restaurant gets crowded. Large party should make reservations. Then just sit back and enjoy.

a plate of mussels and a bottle of beer

We only ended up here because Chesapeake Inn couldn't seat all of the people I came with. We arrived with about 50 people and were seated right away. I wasn't impressed with the decor and the place kinda smelled like an old basement. Again I was with a huge group so I didn't want to make a fuss and I guess I was trying to be open minded. The customer service wasn't bad. The crabs were priced pretty decent and the decor was like your typical crab house. The crabs weren't bad at all but the mussels were horrible. I don't remember the name of the drink I had but it was good. Overall my experience wasn't horrendous but when visiting Chesapeake City the Tap Room would't be my first option.

Your typically crab house. It was quaint and you could tell has been around for a while. Staff was very nice and all the food looked delicious.

Came here on a Sunday evening and it was empty. The decor is like your usual seafood/crab house restaurant. We were told by the very friendly waitress to sit wherever we like. My dad ordered a half a dozen oysters for himself which were huge and he enjoyed it alot. For our dinner we ordered a dozen steamed crabs, half a dozen of the garlic crabs to try and a basket of fries as our side to go with everything. I do like how they give you two different dipping sauces for your crab. It took awhile for the crabs to come out (which was fine! Atleast we know they were cooking them fresh) then they were brought to the table. The garlic crabs were pretty delicious. Very buttery garlic taste. The steamed crabs was a hit or miss. Some crabs had fresh huge chunks of crab while some had mushy old meat that didn't taste that good. Overall we had plenty of food for the three of us. The waitress was very attentive, refilling our waters and making sure we were doing okay. Overall the meal was good but I've had better crabs. Can't complain since we didn't travel to the beach to get some crabs! It was about 130$ for the whole meal which is pricey but expected. Maybe since it's off season that some of the crabs weren't that great? Willing to try again during the summer months!

First of all, can we just talk about how cute historic Stevensville is?!!! There's a cute little historic Post Office and cute little shops. Anyway, the food here was great! We came a bit early so we were seated right away in the bar portion of the restaurant. But mid-dinner, the place started getting packed! This is a popular place! We started with drinks. She ordered a smoked old fashioned which was an experience! The smoke lingered for a bit. I got the limoncello martin, which had this delicious foam on top. They were both STOUT drinks and very tasty. For dinner I ordered the special, which was the Seafood Cannelloni. OMG, it was so good! The pasta tubes were stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crabmeat, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and spinach. The sambuca cream sauce was divine! It was sweet. Not overly sweet, but enough to keep you going in for another bite. I ate the whole dish!!! My partner ordered the Linguine Seven Fishes. She loved it. Overall, it was a great experience! Tobias was an attentive server and everyone on the staff was friendly. There's parking in the back. We'll definitely come back!

The bar area is cute and has a lot of sunshine with a view of the Main Street. There is faint Italian music playing, you feel like you're dining in a private home. The bartender was nice but busy trying to manage the whole front room alone. The bruschetta was delicious--so flavorful and crispy. They boast an impressive wine selection, which is hard to find on the island. I customized my salmon pistachio and it was lovely even with the messy plating. Definitely worth a try if you want a nice atmosphere and flavorful Italian food! #Enjoygoodpeople

The chicken picatta was so, so good- just the right amount of lemony goodness. The Marsala was my husband's favorite- he's said it's some of the best he's had. My daughter said her veal was delicious. Get the cannoli- even if you don't normally like cannolis. My daughter loved her gooey snickerdoodle butter cake topped with ice cream. The decor and staff are everything you want in a family-owned Italian restaurant. There was Sinatra music playing and My Cousin Vinny on the TV - it was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is a small restaurant with limited seating. If you are pressed, make a reservation. Don't go here, if you want quick, impersonal service. Street parking, just a heads up.

I tried the meatball appetizer - it was decent but not really anything special. For dinner I had the chicken parm in a blush sauce which came with a side of gnocchi and my dining partner had grandmas Sunday gravy, again both decent. We skipped dessert because it was a decent amount of food. The other thing I'll mention is you're going to want to make reservations if you go. The entire restaurant seats what seems like 30 people.

I've been here before, but my wife had never been, so when she asked where I wanted to go for…read moreItalian food, I told her, "I already know where we're going." We arrived around 5:30 PM. As we pulled into the parking lot, it looked very busy. There were a lot of people standing outside and several near the entrance. As we got closer, we realized most of them were actually leaving, which was a good sign. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. As it turned out, the gentleman who seated us was also our server. He brought us water and an iced tea while we looked over the menu. We decided to start with the fresh baby kale salad from the specials menu. It included fresh apples, pears, blue cheese, pecans, and a delicious vinaigrette. Shortly after, our server returned with bread and took our dinner order. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and I ordered the Lamb Ragu special with homemade pasta. The salad arrived looking beautiful, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The apples and pears were fresh, sweet, and cut perfectly. The vinaigrette complemented everything without overpowering the ingredients. It was a great start to the meal. One thing I really appreciated was that our entrées didn't come out immediately after we finished the salad. We had a chance to relax and enjoy the evening. Sometimes a salad can fill you up, so it was nice to have a little break before the main course arrived. When our meals came out, both dishes looked amazing. Our server offered additional cheese for the pasta dishes. My wife added a little to hers, but I wanted to experience the Lamb Ragu exactly as the chef intended. The Fettuccine Alfredo was excellent. You could tell they use fresh cream, cheese, and butter to make the sauce. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. My Lamb Ragu was outstanding. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the sauce paired perfectly with the homemade pasta. I cleaned my plate. For dessert, we shared a slice of lemon cheesecake. My advice: don't share it--get your own slice. It was that good. The coffee was excellent as well and was the perfect way to finish the meal. We can't wait to return. The food here is consistently amazing, and the service is top-notch. What really stood out was the teamwork among the staff. You don't just have one server taking care of you. If our tea or water was getting low, someone was always there to refill it. Excellent food, excellent service, and a wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

We visited around 1 PM on a Saturday and were seated immediately, which was a great start. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar salad and calamari. The Caesar salad was surprisingly small and came with only two croutons. The calamari was a decent portion size, but the flavor was just okay, I've definitely had better elsewhere. For our entrée, we ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. The flavor itself was very good, but the noodles were extremely watery, almost giving the dish a soup-like consistency. The portion size was also extremely small, especially considering the price point. Overall, I found the restaurant to be quite expensive for both the portion sizes and the overall dining experience. While the service and seating were fine, the food was ultimately underwhelming for me. Unfortunately, it's not a place I would return to.

So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.
