Impressive. I had the chicken flautas. That's my standard order. Comes with 4 very tasty perfectly crispy flautas, beans, & rice. Sauces included are guacamole, sour cream, and pico. Typically not impressed with beans and rice but these were exceptionally good. I really like the salsa that comes out with the chips. Has a unique flavor and is just spicy enough to burn a little but still maintains the flavor (almost fruity undertones). $3 margaritas on the day I went. Only criticism is I had to ask for napkins and water, most places are automatic with those. read more

The food is the best Mexican food in the KC area. We always take our company there. I've never had anything on the menu I didn't like, and their menu is pretty extensive. FYI, if you like shrimp, they include a lot of shrimp in their shrimp entrees and not little ones either. The service is generally pretty good but occasionally is a little spotty, oddly enough mostly when they're not that busy. Try to go during the week because they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and it is just overwhelmingly TOO LOUD. You cannot carry on any kind of conversation then even if the person is sitting right next to you. That's the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. So starting off of me and my boyfriend decided to go because our sister and brother-in-law told us that it was a great place for us and we decided to travel all the way to Kansas we live in has it Missouri and it's pretty far from where we live so we thought that it was worth it totally totally wrong it was not worth going there it was not worth going there I got a damn chimichanga that was like shit that was like that was like shit I was reading right now the reviews and the ground beef was honestly pretty bad when I got mine in the chimichanga it was so bad it was so disgusting I would never come back here my boyfriend did not like the food it was way overpriced for someone honest it was $45 that was not a good price for us the chimichanga was around $12 just for the chimichanga Also the Sotos were very overpriced mine was around three dollars in my boyfriends little can of Coke with two 7921 more sense and it's three dollars that is so messed up I've never been to a place that has had very expensive sodas I will never go there again and the place looked very messy and very very very dead and no one greeted us at the door we had to walk in ourselves until someone finally came to seat us I apologize to anyone in bed at recess but it was honestly as bad as it sounds it really is bad I'm never going to go there again I would say that I would prefer a little Caesars five dollar pizza then going there and spending around 40 $50 on two plates which is really bad because I've been to other restaurants that I have only charge $20 for that so it was really bad and the waitress was pretty rude she was not coming towards able to give us the the freaking take it and she basically grab my boyfriends card and just left with it which is so unprofessional read more

Family Friendly, Good Food, Decent Prices We found this restaurant because of their Groupon deal (please do more!) & have returned about 1/2 dozen times for both lunch & dinner. All of our meals have been very good with the exception of the one time that I ordered a taco/enchilada combo (it was ok, but not great). My kids love their Chimichangas. I love the fact that they grill their tomatoes before putting them in the meals. I also like their guacamole. The atmosphere is ok. The large dining room has tables scattered around it, but they do a good job of spacing people apart so you are not right on top of one another during a non-busy hour. There are multiple TVs playing for the sports fans. Parking is easy & close to the door. The wait staff is friendly & happy to bring you what you need. The food is served promptly & is hot. I have been there about 3 times and I've had the same experience. The food is just too bland but the staff is really friendly.

I'm usually not picky when it comes to dining experiences, but this place was so bad I feel like it's my civic duty to warn others about it. The service was horrible. We waited our food for what felt like a whole hour. Then once we got our food our waiter didn't check up on us until WE had to let him know we were ready to get our bill. THEN we practically had to hunt someone down to take our card. It was ridiculous and the food is nothing special, so it's safe to say I won't be returning there anymore. read more

Honestly don't know where to start.....this place is pretty bad...first off the service is bad. Unless you like walk in like loud obnoxious, Hispanic with all your chest meat out wanting to get drunk and yell obscenities then this is the place for you!!! Throw on you cowboy hat, shiny belt and you most ostentatious pair of boots you got cause then everyone will be at you call and become. Food quality is bad, no one is even acknowledging you unless your family member of the servers there. My husband and I used to grab lunch here once a week. The chicken chimi is awesome. And we love the enchiladas supremas. There are often some locals that come in and sing and play music which we really enjoy. And we always have fast service. Usually we both eat and leave stuffed for under $15.. and 99% order the lunch special which is always good no matter what it is. read more

Food is good but customer service is awful. I was asked to provide my driver license ID by the owner when I was ordering an alcoholic beverage but he did not ask the rest of the table because he said he knew them he also said I look nothing like the picture and asked to repeat the name on my driver license when I asked why he said to me that he can ask whatever the fuck he wanted because it was his business and I should never respond to him like that if I want to eat there. I came to this restaurant with my family and the first experience we had was good but when we came back a 2nd time. The waitress got half the order wrong. Then when I told her about it she argued with me and I had to request a manager and he actually raised his voice at me. Who does that?! All I did was say excuse me sir my order is wrong and I think the waitress and I had a misunderstanding. He totally blew up about it. So just know that at this restaurant customer isn't right. Went today with a friend from work, and all I can say is WOW, I had the Nachos Nortenia, it had chicken, fajita meat, and shrimp on a base on nacho chips, with sauteed green peppers and tomato, with queso sauce on top. Ordered beef chimichanga got chicken. Waited 15 minutes for my drink, appears to be the place to work if all you want to do is stand around. My experience is pretty straight to the point. The food is not Mexican, I can barely call it TexMex. It wasn't very good, plain & simple. But the thing is, I've gone to these "authentic Mexican" places and I've gotten over it. The service is honestly what gave me the bad experience. I went with my sister and parents and we were basically ignored after we got our food. We had to be the ones that had to track down the waitress and ask for our check. And when we did ask her for it, she had the nerve to roll her eyes at my mother and in plain sight of the rest of us. The funny thing is I returned a couple of months later (only because a friend invited me) and she's white. And the comparison in service was ridiculous. The servers stopped by any chance they got and went above & beyond. I hate to turn it into a race thing because most of these servers are Mexican such as myself. But apparently only white people or people who look like they have a lot of money will get the allowed attention. read more
