    Surf and Turf Salad
    Frank B.

Been coming here for sometime now and have not had a bad meal yet. Great place to grab a delicious meal with the best beer in town. The Chairman's Blonde is second to none and a must try. This meal was the surf and turf salad with delicious giant shrimp. Service is always on point with the servers always checking if you need more water or anything else. TVs are everywhere so you won't miss any part of your game. And the price, well that's the best part. You won't find a location nearby with pricing on point for the amount of food and quality. Happy hour is even better with extended hours. And hey if you're feeling lucky just walk out a few steps and try your luck on a slop machine. I see lots of happy winners when I'm there. Stop by and give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

    Beef rib sundays

Really nice place to eat even though it's in a decently busy casino. My only problem here is is you sit by the to go area folks will come up to the restaurant smoking cigarettes by your table so don't sit near the to go window. I went on a Sunday this time to try the beef bbq ribs which are pretty good. I got an odd chunk of meat I wouldn't call a rib but I think they felt they were being generous with the servings by adding that chunk. I also ordered the inferno wings since last time the buffalo had a sweet tang to them. I do enjoy the Mac n cheese the most from their sides it's not gritty and it's pretty thick with the cheese. I'd be back for the ribs again for sure they filled me up for 30 bucks or so I shared with my partner as well. Not the best bbq in the world but great for the area and for sure better than CV bbq they don't even have beef ribs nor brisket at CV Bbq.

First time at Spotlight 29 casino, friends suggested Taproom 29 for lunch. The menu were the typical favorites at tap houses. I had the pulled pork BBQ pizza and hubby ordered the Stromboli. Both very tasty, well portioned and fairly priced. A good reminder to me about the value of dining at the casino restaurants.

Had a great breakfast experience! The menu has plenty of options to choose from. The staff is always very attentive and made sure I never had an empty cup of coffee.

I ordered a menudo with no pata but they always add it anyway but this is just gross. A black foot (see picture)

Breakfast is always great here! This is located inside the Spotlight 29 Casino. Off the 10 freeway. We stopped by a little before 11am, lunch starts at 11am. Some of us ordered breakfast and others waited till 11am for lunch. My favorite here for breakfast is the egg white frittata, it comes with fruit but I asked for it with a side of hash browns! Our server was great! Attentive and kept checking in on us. Our food arrived fresh and hot! Everything tasted great. I don't come here often but when I do our experience is always great!

Prime rib panini and onion rings
    Demetrius G.

I ordered the prime rib panini with some onion rings. Could have added a little more prime rib but it was okay. Onion rings were good. The only complaint I have is when I used my players card, my total amount changed and the server added her tip.

Coming home to the SGV from AZ, we knew we were going to stop to eat somewhere in the area. We chose Taproom 29 and it was a great choice. We shared the pastrami sandwich but changed the pumpernickel to sour dough. I know, I know but the wife isn't as adventurous as I am because I would have loved to try the pumpernickel. The service was really good and they had some of their private beers for $6 a pint. I like the thick full beers and tried the Old Legend Barleywine. I was very happy with it and would love to come back to try their red. Lots of TV's and a great place to enjoy some food and/or beers while the wife plays.

This is a very nice place. Amanda working at the bar did a great job explaining the food and craft beer. Extensive menu of cuisine, beer, wine, specialty drinks. Highly recommend it. Had the Baked Ziti. It came with 2 slices of toasted bread. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of their menu.

Is it kid friendly? Looking for a place to watch some football as a family.

Not kid friendly. It's a pub inside a casino.

Do you have a happy hour? I looked on the website and I didn't see any happy hour menu?

No happy hour at all, nada, none, zero. And on Wed, prime rib night they always run out of prime rib before 10pm, fyi. And after 10pm they have a very limited menu, fyi.

The menu might be considered small however plenty of excellent choices for everyone's palate. We started with martinis Aviation gin for me & Ketel 1 for my hubs complete with bleu cheeses olives served tall & verrry cold. Our appetizer choice, the deep fried artichokes served with a creamy tasty aioli nicely presented however a bit over salted for our tastes, hence the 4.5 vs 5 stars. We came in to Italica wanting pasta the Bolognese with wild boar/fennel sausage arrived practically overflowing from the bowl, easily could have served 2 or possibly an appetizer to share at the table. My choice the Spaghetti Alio Olio presented bucatini pasta with bread crumbs & pecorino cheese ~ OOOOH MY, sooooo DELICIOUS my bowl was inhaled. Mid meal we ordered the prosciutto ~ fig jam flatbread just perfection the jam adding sweetness in every crunchy bite. To full from our appetizer & pasta we skipped dessert this trip but we'll be back!!!!!! as the drive to Indio from Palm Desert is maybe 30 min (+\~) easy & plentiful FREE PARKING be sure to look for the all stainless patchwork door for entry, once inside relax & enjoy the vibe.

The place was relatively quiet with several people enjoying themselves at the bar. We opted to sit in the comfy lounge chairs overlooking the breathtaking scenery of mountains and blue skies. We had eaten dinner earlier in the casino and since I had a sweet craving, I ordered an Espresso Martini. It definitely satisfied my craving. It was a TREAT! The bartender informed us that live music is showcased on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. We decided to return to Thursday Night Rock Show featuring HWY 111. We actually met vocalist Niki Bente in the elevator on our way to Twelve! She was very friendly and personable. Niki Bente also preforms with Twisted Gypsy whom we had the pleasure of seeing at the Rock Yard on Saturday night. Rocking Show!!! HWY 111 was very entertaining as I danced the night away! The place was lively, filled with people having a great time. It proved to be a wonderful experience! I thoroughly enjoyed two different specialty cocktails from the menu. The bartenders are attentive and offer a choice of complimentary almonds with or without salt. Whether you're looking for a quieter place to enjoy a cocktail or two and take in the beautiful views or you prefer to Rock Out with live music, Twelve is the place to choose! I was excited to try it since I hadn't been back to this location since it was Tu Madres, which I was a big fan of. The menu looked promising, and having live entertainment was definitely a major plus. Unfortunately, our overall experience was a bit underwhelming. We made a 6:45 p.m. reservation through OpenTable and requested a high-top table. We ended up being seated at a standard four-top next to the restroom. While it wasn't our preference, the restaurant was busy, and I completely understand that it's not always possible to accommodate every seating request. One thing that was disappointing was the beer selection. The menu advertises craft beer, but under the "Craft & Canned" section it mostly listed domestic staples like Coors Light and Michelob Ultra. There were only a few craft options on draft, and unfortunately the ones our group tried weren't particularly enjoyable. The guys ended up leaving them unfinished and ordering cocktails instead. We ordered the French 760, which unfortunately missed the mark as well. It was overly sweet, and the sugar rim melted down the glass, leaving the stem sticky and messy to hold. The appetizers were actually one of the highlights of the meal. Both the fried artichoke bites and the fried cauliflower were flavorful and well prepared. Service is where the evening started to unravel a bit. After our appetizers arrived, our server didn't return for about 25 minutes. When he finally came back, he asked if we were ready for the check. We had to remind him that we were still waiting to order our entrees. Once we placed our order, the food arrived quickly. Of the entrées, the Steak Frites was excellent and easily the standout dish of the evening. Unfortunately, both the Pasta Pesto and the Pasta Vodka were disappointing. The penne was overcooked, and both sauces were very bland and lacked the flavor we were expecting. The true highlight of our visit was the live entertainment. This was our first time hearing Jessica Michelle perform, and she was phenomenal. While playing the keyboard, she effortlessly covered country favorites spanning multiple generations. Her voice was absolutely beautiful, and she created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be keeping an eye out for her future performances. We're not writing off The Local on 50th. I spent over 20 years working in the restaurant industry, from family-style restaurants to fine dining, and one thing I learned is that every restaurant can have an off night. It happens. There was enough potential here that we'd be willing to give it another try and hope our next experience better reflects what this restaurant is capable of.
