Fresh, fresh, fresh! The staff mostly speaks spanish, so have your spanish on point! My dish was fresh and moderately priced. The overall experience was okay but the well prepared dish outweighed other factors that were a miss.

They have--by far--the best corn tortillas in Houston. Small, cozy place, with lots of character. If you're hitting the Taco Trail, this is a mandatory stop. Dont miss it!

This place come in good hole in the wall Mexican place with great customer service, even better food, and great food prices. I come here on several occasions to place to go orders. Helen is always a pleasure to work with and she's always very friendly. The food is on po Lunt and the I came here recently with friends for karaoke. We literally had 3 entrees and two drinks all for under $20! You cannot beat the price and the taste! I had the breakfast pancake platter and my friends had the fajita tacos and they were amazing!

So I was definitely expecting a lot better than what I got. I was on yelp browsing Mexican restaurants/taquerias and stumbled onto this place. Overall, it was super average and I don't see myself driving out this was again for this. Service: Service was good, the server was nice and helpful. Her checking in was slow and we didn't see her that often after we ordered. Food: The food was average. My husband enjoyed his enchiladas, but I did not really enjoy my carne asada. The meat tasted cheap and very fatty. Also, the rice and beans were very cheap or poorly made. The chips and salsa were ok, but the chips were almost stale. Price for what you receive: 2 stars in this category. For the price I expected much better, but unfortunately did not meet my expectations.

So good and so friendly! A family restaurant that's been around for 27 years! Breakfast tacos on homemade tortillas!! Asked about their COVID-19 plan and they'll be open for takeout from 8AM-8PM for take-out! Estarán abiertos y tomando órdenes de comida para llevar cada día 8AM

Fajita chicken tacos on corn tortillas (DELICIOUS)

One of the best hole-in-the-wall places I've ever been. Don't judge this place by its appearance because it will definitely fool you. The food came out very quickly and the service was incredibly friendly. If you want to eat local and eat delicious Mexican food, this is the place for you. My fajita chicken tacos were the best I've ever had and my girlfriends enchiladas were cooked perfectly. 10/10 would definitely come back here and recommend to anyone in the area.

Great Mexican food. Homemade tortillas and salsas. Great street style tacos. Once you enter the restaurant you don't feel like your in the USA anymore- which is just what you need when seeking out an authentic restaurant.

Great place with even better prices. $1.99 margaritas. Regular, mango, raspberry, strawberry. Full bar and good mexican beer selection. Large food portions. 5.99 California burrito. I could only finish half. Very friendly staff. And yes, they speak fluent English. Went to the location at Hogan and Main st. Large with cold AC, big screen TVs. Two salsas: spicy red and deathly hot green. Carrots available upon request.

We visited around 5:00 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of two without a reservation. The restaurant is huge, and despite being very busy, the service was efficient. We were seated in one of the back dining rooms and greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic--packed with World Cup fans, with what felt like everyone wearing a soccer jersey. As fellow futebol fans, we loved the energy. Being from California, we're fortunate to have access to some excellent Mexican food, so we were a little hesitant about trying Tex-Mex. I ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a passion fruit margarita. The chicken had a smoky flavor and a sauce that gave the dish a distinctly Texas-style twist. The flour tortillas were outstanding, and the refried beans and rice were just as enjoyable. The passion fruit margarita was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, this was a great dining experience and a place I'd recommend for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant appears well-equipped to accommodate large groups, making it a great option for gatherings. Next time, I'd love to return with a bigger group and take advantage of one of their margarita pitchers!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

On one side was a family with three young children playing a loud game involving frequent shouting and slapping on the table. There was intermittent drumming which the parents were oblivious to. On the other side was a large group facing us engaged in very loud ongoing conversation. The result was an atmosphere that made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Service was also inconsistent.
